The second visit appeared to not be much better until Carlos came to my assistance. He was absolutely wonderful! All I needed was a "new" phone. Quickly disclosing a sale on the iPhone 14 and explaining the 0% 36-month financing, I proceeded with the purchase. Tell me how it took 75 mins to do something that should have been 10 mins? I came in to order an iphone 14 pro and get a new sim card. Selene was not only slower than paint drying, but also rude and condescending. Oh, she doesn't know what she's doing either. She tried to tell me my cell phone is stolen because "Find my iphone" wouldn't turn off... when she's the one that connected to a wifi in their office that had no network connectivity. She would also ask me a bunch of questions that I told her multiple times are regarding things I am not interested in. She must have asked me 5 times if I want to do atnt next. I said the first 2 times I don't. Asking me what I do for work... etc... Who hires these people? You can't even connect to wifi properly? So I finally pay him the money just so I can get my life back to somewhat normal then they decide to tell me that we're not gonna give you the credit for getting the items to us even though it was our mistake for him putting them as something that was recoverable and something that was not unrecoverable like they were . We are ready to upgrade our phones to the new iPhones and came shopping at the store and the way we were just treated was appalling . We are a couple and we need to pick out our phones together and we were stopped at the door By an employee who was wearing no mask and got right in our faces, did not back up 6 feet and told us that a couple is not allowed in the store. 2 years ago I had cell phone, internet, and TV with this company. How I wish I never got involved with this dishonest company. There is no other place to write about the dishonesty of ATT. This review is AT&T as a whole, and does not reflect the character of the workers in the retail store. However, AT&T as a whole loves to over charge you, and they have all these crazy ways to reimburse you the next month as a credit (all 3)., but they charge you the full price. Unfortunately, they cannot process their credits and adjustments properly and you must watch them closely. Why not leave them??? I was in a 2 year contract so it's up to me to keep an eye and spend at least an hour on the phone every time this happens which happened about every other month. The first 3 months they said they would credit me next month (it never happened), and I had to spend several hours on the phone escalating the issue. They also lied about the deals they offered me and when the bill came back, I called and they said well since you got rid of your TV account you don't qualify for that and I was locked in an internet contract. Lastly, my contract just finished, but I was on a mob. I needed an international passport, so I called and got one. I then found out that they offered it freely to people involved in the covid response. My wife called and got me in the free promotion and I was to be credited on my Acct and she also suspended my phone and reduced the monthly cost to 10 dollars after that bc I had to by a local phone to get better service/deal. We were busy and separated from our mob. Guess what happened? No credit, no 10 dollars a month for my half of the bill, it was 30 dollars! I cancelled my account with AT&T when I got back because I had it, I'm moving and the new place has spectrum (44.95 for 200 mb/s download - total cost with modem and no fees taxes are included!). I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AT&T!!! If I were you I'd go elsewhere. I just spent an hour and 45 min on the phone (and be passed 4 times and explaining each time with my documentation, they still kept our 106 dollars even though I asked them to listen to the recordings where we were told we would be reimbursed. She then wants to credit our internet Acct (last month of 27 dollars instead of 106). I said no and I don't trust them bc someone will tell me that she told me wrong like Debbie and Tyrone from customer service about our credits. You've been warned!!! read more

The two guys standing at the door greeting people, say "yes they are right here," pointing to a bin next to the front door. I look for one, find one and say ok where do I pay. GET READY.. WAIT FOR IT.. The guy says "you are the 6th person in line waiting to see a representative?" I said, "no, I don't need to see a representative I just need to pay." He says "well if you want to BUY SOMETHING you have to see a representative so they can help you and ring you up." They should change their name to DUMBASS WIRELESS So here's the kicker, I say "well i am not going to wait in a line of people wanting to talk about iPhones or services issues just to buy a case." In reference to the AT&T Corporate Store located at: 2834 South Hulen Street Fort Worth Texas 76109 After walking out of the store I feel like I need to go home and take a one hour shower. Craig the manager was insensitive and the employees we dealt with were absolutely horrible. I will never walk back into the store. Bringing two people over from Verizon to AT&T you would think that AT&T employees and the company would have more respect for their customers. This store is a colossal failure. Don't walk into the store expecting good customer service unless you feel like taking a one hour shower later on. I get a gut feeling that this store had already met their month end, year end sales goals/quotas and anything they did on the last day or two of December would simply "not count" for 2014 and would add to a bigger quota for them to hit next year. There attitude was that of an employee! There was no CEO ATTITUDE anywhere in this store! It was very, very frustrating! Simply a void of good common sense customer service! For the NEXT program buyer beware. When you trade in your phone after 12 months if there is any tiny microscopic chip break or other blemish AT&T will not pay off the remaining balance of your program according to the management and employees of this store. Of course, they will NEVER explain the minutia to their customers about this policy in the beginning. You will only end up with a significant disappointment by trying to upgrade (at this store anyway) your phone if you are on the NEXT program, if you have ANY BLEMISH whatsover, if Craig is still the manager or if one of the pathetic employees helps you like the one who helped us. (wish I could remember her name) The definition they give in their contract to the consumer is "good physical and fully functional." Although your phone maybe fully functional if it has any tiny microscopic scratch on it they will not allow you to pay off the remaining balance if you are expecting an upgrade. Buyer beware. They have a checklist (you can find it online in the ATT FAQ's regarding the trade in program for NEXT) when they go through and look at your phone for a trade-in. The checklist is basically the definition of good physical however the consumer never gets the benefit of being able to see the true definition of good physical until after they are trying to make an upgrade with AT&T. The NEXT contract is one sided, biased and completely in the favor of AT&T and not their customers. Having just walked out of an Apple store in Fort Worth Texas (University Location) and into this AT&T store it is astounding the difference and the remarkable level of professionalism and customer service Apple Corporation displays versus AT&T. After signing off on the transaction, paying with credit card, and being given receipt...oops! Trade-in value of old phone has changed during the last half hour and no longer eligible for trade in program and resulting discount. This was a refreshing trip to my nemesis's den, AT&T. Usually, I have to wait 15 minutes just to talk with a rep but I walked in, was greeted nicely, and had her (I forgot the girl's name) full attention within 1 minute. I asked why my bill had inexplicably increased nearly $40 from my steady amount. She explained that I had some international roaming charges from Mexico... the problem was - I haven't been to Mexico in over two years! She ended up fixing the charges and giving me a $50 credit for the inconvenience. I would leave zero stars for my experience today if I could. This store has been worthy of 3 stars in the past. Averaged out, I'm leaving 2. I have two mobile accounts with AT&T. I came in last month to add a line, and check on upgrade status. The rep that helped me told me I was eligible for an upgrade the next month. We looked at the iPhone 6 and decided which was right for me. Today I came back to take advantage of my upgrade. Upon entering the store, I checked in at the door and explained exactly what I needed. I was told there was "a few" people ahead of me, and should expect to wait 20-30 minutes. Apparently "a few" means 9. It was so hot and stuffy in the store, I chose to wait outside as long as I could. It was very frustrating to watch about 1/3 of the employees in the store standing around chatting with each other. If they were having important business discussions, they should move their meetings to the back. Thirty minutes later, there were still 4 people ahead of me on the list. I asked a rep how much longer it should be and he told me 30 minutes. At least that estimate was accurate, because 30 minutes later I was finally greeted by someone willing to assist me! He quickly informed me that the phone I wanted had to be pre-ordered, and there was a 25-30 business day waiting period. I'm beyond disgusted, and will not be returning to this store. read more

He also would only give me decent trade-in on my current phone unless I switched to their pay as you go plan. I returned home and got exactly what I wanted on-line at the ATT website. Let me say that we pulled up 15 minutes before closing time however the second we pulled up it was obvious we were a bother. Walked in and my husband told them why we came in. His iPhone wasn't working. The employee quickly told us that is an iPhone "you need to go to the Apple store we can't do anything for you"..... So I said maybe you can help with my phone. My battery does not last at all. She goes to hook it up to the machine and what do you know it isn't working. I told her I had already had a replacement battery and I knew what it was. I asked her can you just give me a new battery? No the people that do that are already gone but they will be here at 7 tomorrow and you can come back then. Awesome!!! Thanks for nothing! AT&T is truly a terrible company. When Dante wrote about the 7 levels of hell I think he did not mention working with AT&T because he stopped at level 7. If I had one wish that would come true it would be...well world peace, but my second wish would be for this company to be completely wiped out of existence. The only thing worse than working with this company is working with cable and internet providers. Oh wait, they do that too...makes perfect sense. The hard facts about AT&T - They will change your plan behind your back to reap higher revenue so you have to watch them like a hawk. Then when you try to change it back you get lip and attitude from the initial employee straight up to the highest manager on site. You can only do things a certain way (add another authorized user can be done over the phone, but not to the store, only through customer service). Their website is frequently down when you want to unlock a device - a service they advertise, but I am beginning to think they won't actually provide. They have a terrible international plan. The company coaches their employees on how to take advantage of the elderly and technologically unsavvy for additional revenue as well. Specifically a "gentlemen", and I use that term extremely loosely, name Nico, was the smug peon who "helped" me. If I could give less than one star I would in a heart beat.
