He walked me through the best values m, what I should be looking for and the best bang for my buck. With the purchase of a new phone I couldn't get something from my old phone. He offered for me to call him once I got home to receive further assistance. I did just that and he walked me through everything I needed to do. I had to come back a few days after to assist my father with his phone. Another very helpful employee assisted us. He wanted to make sure my father was receiving the best deal possible. He even called into the calling center to ask about promotions or specials not viewed on his computer. We left out with brand new phones and without a bunch of hassle. SN: Verizon, stop playing in your customers faces! You can't really turn in ANY phone and get a brand new iPhone 16. It's several layers to that promotion, but whatever.

    Wanted to upgrade my phone and get wireless internet in my apartment. The phone upgrade went…read moreseamless, however I will never purchase wireless internet again, or at least from Verizon if I can helpfor these reasons: 1) Got the wireless router: Verizon internet gateway 2) After trying to set it up, it malfunctioned. There was a blinking red Wi-Fi symbol. (Chalked up to be a hardware issue by technical support). 3) I was on the phone with technical support for about 2 and a half hours doing everything from having the support representative remote access my phone's camera to talk me through various steps to troubleshoot the issue. After 2 1/2 hours I was just told to return it to the store. 4) When I get to the store the next day I am told that I am not supposed to return it there but I am then told to return it to a UPS store after getting a shipping label online/Verizon App when I cancel. Phone wait times and my patience were drying up -- so I went into the store to ask for help to which I was told that UPS will know what to do with it: no label needed, just that I would need to make sure to disconnect the line. !!) It was omitted from technical support to return it to UPS !!) Associates in store are unclear of current specific return/exchange procedures. !!) Associates were more focused on returning hardware than the main issue: the customer needs WiFi! Nothing was said about setting up a new router/line i.e getting the product/service I am trying to spend money on. Solution: Same but new hardware/different line, different store. Thank you Chris from Gambrills, understood the situation and presented a clear solution. If you think this review is too long: I wrote for as long as I spoke with various associates on the phone to resolve the issue.

The resolution of the replacement doesn't match and the durability of the glass pathetic. Once replaced, the phone went immediately into a case and sat on a counter over the weekend - on day three, with less than four hours of screen time and never being dropped, there is a crack across the entire screen and multiple scratches. This is compared to my personal iPhone 7 used daily for two years, in a similar case, without a single crack or scratch. Of course, I visited the store since there is a 30 day warranty. They would do nothing - "there can't possibly be a manufacturing defect in the glass, only the LCD." Moral is a $100 gets a knockoff screen that will not last, just roll that money into a new phone.

I had a small crack in the corner, and figured I would get it repaired. They replaced the screen in about an hour, and it seemed fine at first. Later that afternoon I noticed it was difficult to text - you had to press the keys twice as hard and much slower for the phone to recognize your touch input. This also persisted when scrolling on webpages - sometimes the phone didn't recognize a swipe. This issue has continued to this day. I wouldn't trust them to fix my phone if it were free.

What is unreasonable: not letting me know the "repairs" would cost an additional $180 before they did them. About a week later, after doing nothing but cleaning the computer and replacing thermal paste, with no new parts or anything, they say the issue is fixed (computer was initially not turning on due to possible power button or motherboard/overheating issue) Without letting me know the total cost, or how much the "repairs" would cost in advance, the owner stated the total cost would be $270, including $90 for updated system, scan and test. And they asked for cash as the "card reader is having issues". I'll only be paying this with a credit card, so that I get some consumer protection if they don't honor the 60 day warranty. Invoice Below: Diagnostic $89.99 (paid). 1st tech unclog+thermal paste Went from dead to turning blue. Confirmed not power button. $89.99 2nd tech tried breakthrough password but then wiped it. Still turned blue. Updated bios+system, virus scan, ram scan/test. $89.99. $269.99total w/ $179.99balance. I fully expect this to have fixed nothing. Based on the other reviews I have read, I shouldn't have brought a computer to a phone repair shop but that was my mistake. Next time try out geek squad, where they will "fix" the same thing for $180. I must look like a sucker, but I plan on paying these guys and then leaving this review everywhere I can so that anyone else looking for a computer repair is warned off, even if as the owner said "no one even looks at Yelp reviews anyway" And for reference: this computer refurbished costs $136 on eBay. I wish they would've just bought one and given that to me instead.

    A bunch of kids acting like you're a bother…read more I went to go pick up a replacement phone because my phone would only connect to Wifi. It would at times connect to a mobile network, but it never worked properly for long. The associate is rude (because i'm writing this in the middle of our transaction). Won't make eye contact, and is very short with questions, and replies. He didn't explain anything and just assumed I wanted him to transfer info from one phone to another, which I didn't. He goes through the process of connecting my service and then transferring my content without asking, just to say it'll be 4 hours. He didn't explain anything and i just stood there watching him click buttons and drag my new phones camera lens along the countertop. Which is another thing that annoyed me. He kept dropping my new phone out of the box onto the countertop and dragging the lens around as he picked it up and put it down. I even moved it from the table and placed it on top of my case, just for him to take it off start dragging it around again. I'm already having a terrible day and then this kid wants to be a jerk. Now I have to wait 4 hours for every video in my phone to transfer, when I could've told him I didn't need them or want them on the new phone. His manager I guess chimed in when I told him I didn't need him to do it, it was already too late, and he came in well after we started the transaction, and came off as just as rude. They seem to not want me to get ahold of my old phone as if i'm going to take it. I've already had a long drawn-out time with t-mobile just trying to get a new phone. I guess it's only right that these clowns be the final battle. We tried to just get them to ship it to our home, and have us return the old phone like we have in the past, but the agent didn't give us the option, and said it was too late when we brought it up. So now i'm stuck with this goofy kid Gio that has an unnecessary attitude, and I have to go back by closing to get my phone, when i could've gotten that transfer time under 20 minutes had he made any effort at offering even a little customer service. After going back to pick up my new phone it was more of the same. I don't know what this kids problem is but he's definitely not the first person you want interacting with your customers. He asked me to unlock my old phone so that he could delete it, so I unlocked it and factory reset it. He seemed irritated, but it's not like I was going to unlock it and leave him with access to all my information. Brett messed my lines up by suspending one that was active then restoring it and activating the line that was suspended it and re-suspending it. While he was doing all of this, he began talking about his s/o and child and was able to finesse me to give him my ID. His venting session went on for about 30 minutes. I was under the impression that he was still just restoring my lines that should have never been touched. however he was adding a tablet as well as a brand new line. I remember him asking me if I wanted a free tablet and me telling him no because I already have a hotspot and iPad, just wanted to use my unused line. I did not realize til April. When trying to have the problem rectified on his end. He told Rachel to comp me $30, however she only added $10 while I was charged $31 plus tax for his recklessness. He then went on to call the police on me, during a second visit in which Gio told me the day before his hours were 10-4. But he was still there after 4(which is when I arrived to avoid him), and lying about not having the document I was requesting in the store. I will continue pursuing this issue because it should never happened and should not have been so escalated by a manager for his wrongdoing. I emailed the DM James Clark however through their old colleagues, I found out this is something they commonly do.
