The person I dealt with...Stephanie, ordered the wrong phone, disconnected my service and was rude when I called asking for proper email address of manager (and she is the manager). Stay far away from this location. I've been loyal customer for over 30 years and they are doing nothing to try to keep me as a customer. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. There was a woman and a man working when I visited the week of June 19, 2023. Neither even attempted to do anything to resolve my issue. I didn't wait long. There was one customer ahead of me. I was sent a promotional card from AT&T for a device I traded in. I wasn't able to use it successfully online and when I called customer service, they were unable to help me. The rep on the phone referred me to ANY store saying they would be able to help me. I went to this location b/c it's closer to where I live. I explained that the card wasn't working. I showed the rep the card, the letter from AT&T that the card came stuck to when it was mailed to me, and the print out from AT&T's promo card website indicating the card was activated and had a balance on it. The girl (20-30YO, brunette w/long-ish hair) looked at the card and kept commenting how she'd never seen a promotional card like it before. Then, she went to the back room to talk to a dude I watched walk in the store while I was waiting my turn. The girl came back out and said "We can't do anything with this. You'll have to take it to Bowie. That's a corporate location." Why should I have to drive up and down Route 3/301 to use this card?!? Potential resolutions Crofton/Gambrills could have offered: 1) At least try to process the card in the system. The girl didn't even try to run the card through! 2) Call the Bowie location and get them to walk her through this on the phone while the customer is there. 3) Offer the customer some sort of credit. A manager was there. He could have retained my promotional card (and destroyed it or sent it back to corporate to figure out why it didn't work) and in exchange he could have issued some form of credit on my account. Lesson learned: Make these people at Gambrills/Crofton do their damn job and stop allowing them to shuffle customers to other locations simply b/c they're lazy or ignorant (or both). The best way to do this? Make the Crofton/Gambrills rep call the Bowie store for guidance and troubleshooting. Why should the customer have to drive all over town, when 9 times out of 10 what's done at the Bowie store is something these folks in Crofton/Gambrills could do, too! AT&T either needs to shut this useless location (Crofton/Gambrills) down or re-train the employees working here. They're terrible. I will be leaving a glowing review for that Bowie location. Those guys were polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. It took one rep at Bowie less than 10 minutes to do what needed to be done. he swiped the promotional card and it worked. Real simple. When I asked him if the Crofton/Gambrills store was capable of doing taking this same action, he said "Yes, but they don't do much. They just send everyone here." That's ridiculous! read more

When we walked into the store the only employee there was helping another customer so we waited. Her problem seemed very complicated so the employee took care of us while on hold with AT&T service and worked on both of our issues at the same time. There really should be a dedicated phone line for your reps to call so the waits aren't so long! Anyway, he solved our problem with 2 new SIM cards for myself and my husband and we were on our way. The original customer was still there with the employee still hanging on the phone with AT&T. This employee, I wish I could remember his name, did a great job! He obviously knew his stuff to be able to juggle us both at once. I'll continue to use this store in the future. read more

This review is for corporate AT&T. Not the store itself. We will post on all AT&T yelp page since it's within the family and there is no specific corporate page. We have been loyal AT&T customers for 15 years. We have a grandfather in unlimited data. So you would think they're honor and appreciate their loyal clients, but no. They're just a bunch of greedy service provider. Since they're are not offering unlimited data anymore. They decided to sent us a letter raising it by $5 more. This is a second letter we've received within 3 months. So every 3 months it seems we get another $5 increase in our plans. What a rip off. That's how AT&T treats their loyal customers of 15 years. So to all of you yelper in search of service providers. Keep in mind. AT&T does not care about you. They're out their to make $$$. So go with whichever provider that treats you the best with the best rates. read more

I'm surprised to see the other reviews because I had a decent experience. I simply needed an iPhone upgrade to the 11 and it was super easy to go through when I was and always am BEYOND dreading phone stores. I feel like they are the DMV of stores because it's always such a difficult time but this was so easy. I walked in and out within 15 min, if that. They needed to order the phone but who cares about waiting 4 more days. Isaac was super helpful and simple but straight to the point. Maybe just ask for him!? read more

A not so Divine experience - would never recommend this store. I stopped here to fix a complex issue that had me going in circles with AT&T customer service line in which they cut off my service and discontinued my account while trying to port over to another carrier. After 4 excruciating hours on the phone trying to fix it, they said my ONLY option is to go in store. I came to this store and the person working was named Divine. He asked for the phone number associated with the account, I provided it and explained that he wasn't going to get in because they closed my account before I could pay off my phone. I just needed to pay it off so they could unlock it but I needed to go in person to access so I could prove my identity since I couldn't do so over the phone. He ignored everything I said and just said nothing he can do to help. Well he did it even try. He didn't explore other options he gave up immediately with out any solution. He said I needed to go to another store. I am already beyond frustrated at this point, drove to the store in Bowie where the lady manager did everything in her power to help and found success in doing so. She also said that Divine at the other store was perfectly capable of doing the same, it was a matter of laziness and/or incompetence. DO NOT got this store! Save yourself the time and just go to the one in Bowie where people will actually help you. I also hope AT&T sees this and reevaluates Divine's employment there. He is not competent enough for this job and is a terrible misrepresentation of the company. He didn't even know when his own store closes/opens. Absolutely awful experience. Avoid this store at all costs . A simple mistake bu CSR Kwon cost me 22 phone calls taking 15-45 minutes each . 3 service cut offs. And a whole month of fixing the problem that was basically left up to me to solve . The manager "jaime" is basically a snarky d-bag. Had a great experience, they were close to closing and the young man behind the counter (his name escapes me) remained open, answered all my questions, was patient, knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient. The store is clean, tidy, and toy collection on display notwithstanding, professional in appearance. I would recommend to others, and intend to use their services again in the future. read more

If you like banging your head over and over on a concrete slab, you'll really enjoy this store!! Manager will talk a mile a minute and use a condescending tone when you ask simple questions. Told my bill will go from $165 to $200 after the addition of one line, SURPRISE! It's now $283. No one can explain why. Tons of back and forth and finally after 2 months of follow up credits are being slowly issued. I wouldn't care as much if it were an honest mistake that was being fixed but the tone used to a customer who's been with ATT for 18 years sucks. This is the second time I've tried this location when renewing my cell and/or upgrading my phone. Both times I felt like I was imposing on their free time. Last time the salesperson knew very little about the technical aspects of the phones... this time they had fake phones. Went to the AT&T store to purchase a new IPhone Xs and to return my old IPhone 7 and everything went smoothly. It only took about 15-20 minutes and we had no issues. If you turn in your old phone you also get $$ off of the phone you are upgrading to. The workers were very nice and the man who was getting the new phone ready seemed to know exactly what he was doing. They were both very kind and good at their job. read more

He answered all my questions and was polite with the upmost professional manner! I feel At&t needs to make him a general manager. I have been working with this store for over 2 months now trying to get my bill fixed from an in store mistake. I have been given the run around by the store owner, Jamie, as well as the person above him, Mike Martinez. I cannot believe that att would let a store try and over charge a person $900, let them deal with it for 2 months, then have the audacity to charge late fee's for a bill that was clearly the mistake of the employee. I have now been on the phone with multiple departments to get some sort of compensation for the time and hassle I have spent over the last 2 months, but am unfortunately getting nowhere. I went in a few days ago as I needed to transfer all my messages from one phone to another and when I did it, I was receiving some errors. Won was the associate who helped me and he spent about an hour to 1.5 trying to fix the issues. Unfortunately, as I learned later, it had something to do with a fault with advanced messaging and nothing could really be done to solve the issue. He was patient, helpful and could hold a conversation during that entire time. I always seem to forget to praise businesses when they are doing well, so here's to Won and ATT in Gambrills! read more

We've had At&T service on 4 lines & 2 tablets for 7 years now. I've never been more disgusted & disappointed in a company. One of their reps came to my house & offered me a 99 cent tablet. He took our credit card to charge the 99 cents. Then came back claiming we had a past due amount of $210.65. He charged that amount without our knowledge or consent. We told him that was inaccurate and that we didn't want the tablet. Later that night I got a recipe in my email thanking me for our payment of $210.65. We fought with At&T for 4 weeks yes 4 weeks over this charge. They couldn't even find the charge in their system & claimed they didn't have a 99 cent tablet promotion. I had to file a police report to get my bank to refund the $210.65 because At&T lied & claimed we were in store & paid with our chip card & signature. If I wouldn't be charged a huge disconnect fee I would transfer my service. I think At&T is a bunch of thieves and very dishonest!!! How dare you treat your customers like that!!!!! read more

Kudos to Cody and Colyn! As a decades long ATT customer, I had experienced quite a challenge when I purchased two new devices at the Apple store in Annapolis. These two young men were professional, polite and friendly and, best of all, resolved ALL of the issues I had been working to resolve for the last week. Cody and Colyn are wonderful representatatives of ATT and in less than 10 minutes resolved all the problems that ATT Customer Service by phone and Apple Store sales reps did not over the period of almost a week! If you have the option, I highly recommend making this ATT store your first stop...skip the Apple store and ATT Customer Service by phone. Far less frustration and wasted time and you'll leave with a smile, instead of a headache! read more
