The employee, Hari Ram, repeatedly pushed a "free" SIM card that he later said cost $40 but would be refunded. After I declined, he tried again--offering to give me the screen protector at no charge if I accepted the SIM card. I declined once more, making clear I only wanted the items I came for. After accessing my Verizon account to fix my connectivity issue, Hari completed the service and I left. Minutes later, I received texts showing I'd been enrolled--without consent--in two separate streaming packages, each set to auto-renew at $10/month, resulting in unauthorized account charges and unauthorized charges added to my Verizon bill. This is clear evidence of deceptive sales practices and unethical conduct, and it directly violates Verizon's Authorized Retailer Code of Conduct. I have reported this incident to Verizon Corporate and the Account Security Department and request a full investigation into this fraudulent activity. Customers should avoid this location entirely. Verizon is fully responsible for the conduct of its Authorized Retailers, and it's deeply disturbing that such behavior is occurring under their brand with so little oversight.
