Unfortunately, I am so disappointed in the service I have received from this particular AT&T store on School Street in Glen Cove, and want to prevent others from making the same mistake I have. I bought my iPhone 16 pro max from them less than a year ago. Despite having gone to other AT&T stores with which I was very happy, I deliberately frequented this AT&T location because my husband and I have received good service from them in the past. They have been helpful and friendly and seemingly honest. When I bought my phone, I paid for the additional phone screensaver warranty - free replacement for the life of the phone. I've returned several times in the past few weeks only to be told, they didn't have the screen savers in stock. So today when I arrived and saw they had a few, I was thrilled. The salesgirl there informed me that I could only receive this free replacement from the girl who had sold me my phone a year ago. I was told that this other salesperson was the only one authorized to fulfill my warranty. I've never before heard anything so crazy! She wanted to charge me $50 for something I've already paid for. My advice- shop elsewhere ! Maybe avoid AT&T altogether.

The employee, Hari Ram, repeatedly pushed a "free" SIM card that he later said cost $40 but would be refunded. After I declined, he tried again--offering to give me the screen protector at no charge if I accepted the SIM card. I declined once more, making clear I only wanted the items I came for. After accessing my Verizon account to fix my connectivity issue, Hari completed the service and I left. Minutes later, I received texts showing I'd been enrolled--without consent--in two separate streaming packages, each set to auto-renew at $10/month, resulting in unauthorized account charges and unauthorized charges added to my Verizon bill. This is clear evidence of deceptive sales practices and unethical conduct, and it directly violates Verizon's Authorized Retailer Code of Conduct. I have reported this incident to Verizon Corporate and the Account Security Department and request a full investigation into this fraudulent activity. Customers should avoid this location entirely. Verizon is fully responsible for the conduct of its Authorized Retailers, and it's deeply disturbing that such behavior is occurring under their brand with so little oversight.

So, it is difficult to pay $ 800 dollars for a job that is done in one hour and 5 minutes. I understand inflation is high but there should be some kind of consideration with the customers. In any case yellow pages advertises the charge of $150 per hour, and that does include the commute of the technician to the site.
