Almost every conversation ended with another reason for the delay--whether it was recovery errors, replacement chips, syncing devices, transfer issues, emergency closures, waiting on parts, or being told it would be finished "tomorrow," "in a few hours," or "in a couple more days." Unfortunately, those promises kept getting pushed back. I understand that data recovery is complex and that unexpected problems can happen. My frustration isn't that the recovery was difficult--it's the lack of honest communication and realistic expectations. If the job was going to take months, I would have appreciated being told that from the beginning instead of repeatedly hearing that it was almost finished. I spent months following up through texts and over 20 phone calls, often being told I'd receive a callback that never came. I even rearranged my schedule multiple times to pick up the drive, only to find out it still wasn't ready. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. I'd already looked up the price of the OEM part itself, so I know they were honest about the quote discrepancy. That information just would have been nice to know before hand.
