Instead of letting me simply leave them with him or restock them himself, the employee rudely insisted I go all the way to the back of the store to re-shelve them myself before he'd let me check out. This is completely unacceptable. I was ready to walk out and buy from another store, but I had no time. As a loyal customer, I expect much better. This kind of disregard for basic customer service is why Best Buy is losing business. Convenience is supposed to be the point--forcing me to restock is not my job.

On the downside however, they shouldn't claim that they'll price match when there will be several instances where they know they cannot. I recommend an online option to input the quote and the vendor, then they can confirm up front if they're willing/able to price match as well as why if they cannot. In my case, they could not as the rival vendor likely did not use OEM components for the repair given the price disparity. I'd already looked up the price of the OEM part itself, so I know they were honest about the quote discrepancy. That information just would have been nice to know before hand.
