After the woman there seemingly tried to help she ran into same thing I did. The person for customer service couldn't communicate in english. I never got money back for over payment. I chalked it up as a loss. Next time I went in I talked to same woman because she appeared to really try. I went in because my account said I could get upgrade and when I sent for the phone I wanted I was sent wrong one I did get refund on line. The only thing I wanted was my due upgrade and apply for low income program. I paid $166 and some change and thaught all was well. Then I found out she opened another account to get a phone that should have been free and they stole the money. The phone I got was.the motto 5g and it didn't work then I found out about the other account. I was not only scammed after going in a number of times but she ended up giving me a samsung galaxy03 in place of the motto and told she had to give me a hand written receipt because her manager said I got such a good deal they k3pt it off the record. I don't know what happened to the money I spent. She also said she closed the 9ther account which was a lie so then I could no longer apply for.the low income because she put it on 5he other account that she tried to hide. I am preparing a more detailed and less confusing with the BBB to see if I can do something about being scammed. I can prove everything including the fact I wasn't there when she switched from motto 5g to samsung 03.

They called and left a voicemail letting me know that was not repairable. While being told that news was frustrating, the main issue is what happened next. After returning from a vacation, I went to pick up the device, I was told they had already gotten rid of it - without ever asking for my permission. This was only a couple of weeks after drop-off. The Joy-Cons were still fully functional, and many other components of the device were intact, that could have been salvaged. Regardless of how a repair turns out, this shop has no right to get rid of a customer's belongings without clear consent. I was never asked, never notified, and given no opportunity to retrieve what was still valuable to my wife. I paid for a diagnostic, not for my belongings to be taken and sold for their recycling parts, for the shop's benefit. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who values their electronics being treated with basic respect.

They quoted the phone had scratches and that further diminished the values. There was no scratches that you could see from holding the phone in all directions from 8 inches away from your face. I then took it to Indy phone doctor and when I told them that they told me that my phone had a bad battery because it was at 80% battery health he actually started laughing out loud for several minutes.... The only prepaid phone I've ever had was a Tracfone. Boost is so different. These are some quality phones! When you switch to them they give you a free phone. Xavier walked me through the process and couldn't have been more helpful. He tried to help me get on a plan through the government that I would only have to pay $20 a month per line, but I would still be on the $50 plan. ACP? Something like that. I was amazed that a phone company would try to help me save money!! I went with the two free phones for transferring one line over. I'm happy and this is week two in my new phone!!
