I left with a new phone, a great plan, and even lower monthly costs -- all thanks to Christian's effort and attention to detail. He even made himself available later in the evening to help transfer apps and data from my old phone to my new one, which was a huge help. They were very nice when I walked in until they found out that I had received a new phone in the mail and that I needed help in getting it either changed out to a different model or activating it and all of my pictures and information on my new phone. I've been a Verizon customer for 35 years plus. He looked at me and said "all you have to do is turn on the phone"or I would have to return it to where I got it and I said "you cant help me to transfer my photos, etc. " and he said "no well we do but it's $50." He was not interested in me as a customer at all and I would not recommend going to this store ever.

    I've been a Verizon customer for years but recently got an offer from a competitor that was good…read moreenough to make me walk into the Baymeadows store and give Verizon a chance to keep my business. They tried. They came close on price (not quite there) but sweetened the deal with a "new" phone...enough to convince me to stay. A few days later, my hotspot stopped working. That's not a small issue for me, as I work fully remote with international hours and rely on it multiple times a week. So back to the store I went! Visit number two is where everything unraveled. I was told the previous employee had downgraded my service without my consent, disabled my hotspot, and set me up to be charged for the "free" phone (none of which matched what we agreed to). To make matters worse, that "new" phone already had multiple dead pixels within two weeks, despite never being dropped. Then it somehow got worse. The employee helping me this time said he'd "take care of me," but instead spent the entire interaction hitting on me while he had full control of my phone (including all my personal information). Repeated comments about how "attractive" and "photogenic" I am, pushing to see photos - not for anything remotely work-related, but clearly fishing for personal selfies. It was uncomfortable, inappropriate, and completely unprofessional. I left feeling gross. And at the end of the month? The exact same bill I was trying to leave in the first place. So, what did I get out of this experience? Unauthorized changes to my plan, a damaged phone, broken promises, and 30+ minutes of blatant sexual harassment. Just don't. Trust.

He told me free over and over again. I just had to change my modem! So I trusted him. Changing the box, returning it, connecting all, dealing with my security system change, etc. cost me hours. I called Verizon just to make sure because it just sounded to good to be true. The woman on the phone said I was being charged-$15 for HBO and Netflix and $10 for Apple music-a total of $25 MORE. So, nothing was free except LIES. That cost me two hours to fix. Went into the store today and told Deon that Verizon said I was now being charged $25 for what he stated was free and told him I wanted to work with the manager. The black haired man--unkempt beard, chubby behind the semi circular stand acted like the boss and announced, "We all can do the same thing" and sent me over to Hugo. Hugo consistently talked over me, talked in circles, would tell me I was stating things that I wasn't, kept on indicating I was only being charged $3 for all three (promised for free) when I said it was $15 for Netflix/HBO and...he interrupted me and smugly said, "You're saying $15 now, before it was $25." Which one is it?" I told him he interrupted me and explained the simple math was 15+10=25. And told me the $25 was nowhere to be seen (because the woman adjusted it). Pathetic manipulative games. I asked him repeatedly for a store manager, district manager he IGNORED MY REQUEST and said, "They can't do anything more than I am doing." I asked again explaining I wanted to let them know what happened--he rudely said the same thing--"They can't do more than me." I said, "There has to be someone with authority over this store." Then he snidely quipped, "Why don't you go to a different carrier?" Well Hugo, with toxic guys like you--I am! He had mentioned Dakota Wilkinson and said, verbatim, "He can't do anything that I can't do." I asked for Dakota's info and he told me he couldn't give any number or email to me. I told him to give him my number. I said, "If you can do what he can do what can you do?" He said he could "only" fill out some kind of form but I wasn't able to see what he wrote or get a copy of it. I said, "Sure, go ahead" He was finishing up on the computer his form and ended up spilling a water cup all over the table and floor and immediately and embarrassingly hid like a child in the back room. Ridiculous! He eventually came out and left the mess for a younger worker to clean up. No apology of course. He then gave me the number of the form and sarcastically said, "You have a nice day" While I was leaving Mr. Hairy added, "Oh, do have a nice day!" and then loudly added, when I was at the door, "The dog was cute, though." What were you implying Mr. Cool?? That I am not "cute"?? Wow, what a man! As a woman, I felt completely ganged up on and totally abused by men who have absolutely ZERO masculinity or integrity!! PURELY DISGUSTING CREEPS with no character! And this all started with a woman finding out about one of their LIES!
