Today I went in for a screen protector. The staff member could not help me at all, and I ended up having to call the customer support and they even agreed with me that it was weird. well. Im sorry to say this i have been with att since I got a phone, my family has been for 20+ years and i have never met a worker so terrible. There was a staff member who kept checking in and being kind, helpful, friendly. Then there is dylan, he could not act any more unwelcoming. He seemed tired, aloof, uninterested, short, and a bit rude honestly. I can get past not knowing how to do everything and being new but this was past that. Info I logged in when I first became a customer (I believe this restock info was 2018-2021ish, so definitely check to make sure what the info is today) 14 Days to return; $35 restocking fee On my last visit for an iPhone upgrade to the 15, I tried the trade-in option for the first time with my older iPhone 11. I need to trade-in more often. I received the best trade-in value and I was advised to do the same with my older iPhones I've just held onto in the past. With how well the conditions are that I keep my phones, it's definitely worth getting the credit applied to newer purchases even if it's just an accessory or two. Francisco is super helpful and so nice. Thank you so much for your help, Francisco. He was very knowledgeable too and took the time to show me some of the features on the iPhone. Worse service ever! Recently transferred to AT&T the first week of April and was already charged over $300 dollars. Nick was the one who helped me set up my account, he tried convincing me multiple times to get the $90 dollar plan because of the better quality and faster data I reject the plan multiple times only to find out a few days ago I got charged again over $100 so i downloaded the app, put my information to see my account just to find out that Nick ended up doing what he wanted as if he was the one paying for it. I made a choice saying I wanted the $70 dollar plan and he had me on the $90 plan. I went in today to tell them what was going on and a different person helped and basically said I'd be charged twice to change my plan. Those 3 times I paid for the $90 plan when I wanted the $70 is a total of $60 additional I was throwing away. That would have been another month payment right there. read more

Every time I get my phone bill I am pissed. Every time that I have terrible service, which is constantly, I am pissed. I came into the store in May this year. Cisco "helped" me. He convinced me to get a new phone, and Apple Watch. I told him that I didn't want my bill to be higher. Pulling out the calculator, it looked like the new phone would only be a couple dollars more per month, the watch was only $1 per month! My bill every month is now $146 for these two devices, when I used to pay $114 for just my phone. My son was with me in the store as I waited 3 hrs to transfer to the new phone. What happened to using the SIM card? It was awful! My ten year old couldn't handle it after a while! That's why I thought I'd hook him up with the watch! My service sucks. All my friends have switched to Mint Mobile, they pay $30 a month for unlimited service and have better service than I do! I want to pay these off and leave AT&T! It's so stupidly expensive, and I was assured that my bill would not be this high! Three hours in that store! Terrible phone service, So expensive! Ugh!!! read more

Scammers. I've hated them for years, but we've always been locked in a contract. This is the last straw. To be fair, the in store rep was great because she caught the scam. Unfortunately, it was too late to do anything about it. Even she was disgusted by the other rep's reprehensible lies to make higher commission off an already aggregiously high bill. Tell me how this makes sense. My mom called (on a completely unrelated topic) and was talked into upgrades (which we were due for). The rep says she's it will cost $10 less per month. Her bill is $100 more than usual. We were given new lines instead of upgrades! We were told we're passed the remorse period so we're stuck She filled out a fraud report (as instructed by another rep) but her claim was denied. I'm sick of the scams. I will NEVER go with AT&T again. And I am willing to take legal action against this awful company to get our money back. read more

I went to the AT&T store today to pick up my new phones. Upon arrival I asked the salesperson if I could receive my phone's and sync them. He stated that syncing the phones is a courtesy and not required. I asked him if he could sync the phones, and he said no, he wouldn't, Internet is slow and it would take 4 to 5 hours to sink them. After asking for the manager, they said they could sync . It took about 15 minutes for them to sink the data. Footnote! When I was in the store and throughout my visit, I was the only customer. Four years ago when we went in and got our phones this place was good. Today my wife and son went in to see if they could get some help with his phone. Just a little help was all they wanted. Marco did everything but help them. First off he didn't even look at the phone. He just said, "it can't be fixed. Need a new one". My wife explained we have insurance on the phone. Then he proceeded to tell her the deductible was much higher than what it is. Didn't even take the time to look it up. Went straight into saying he can get my son a new phone all we have to do is add a line and pay the tax. We don't need another line. Why do we need to pay for another line while my son's current line sits unused and we still have to pay for that??? Doesn't make any sense. Is Marco a prime example of what AT&T stands for these days? Are all the current employees at this particular AT&T all so unwilling to help their loyal customers when we walk in looking for a little help. Heck, he could have pretended to look through the settings and then said there is nothing he could do. Learn how to play the game Marco if you're just going to be an unhelpful employee solely interested in making an unnecessary sale. For anyone reading this review, if you go in as for someone else of MARCO is the one assisting you. Thanks for nothing Marco. You represent AT&T and you epically FAILED. Absolutely horrible! I have never been into this store or Lake Elsinore but they allowed someone to finance AirPods on my AT&T account without my approval or proof of ID. They allowed fraud and never reached out to fix the issue. I had to file a police report and contact corporate AT&T who also did nothing except send it to collections. Now my credit took a hit bc I did not pay for something that was charged illegally. Concerning people allow this in their shop. Beyond disappointed and upset. If I could give less than a star I would give a WARNING!!!!!!!!! read more

On 6/13/2022 my husband and I went it w questions on trading in phones for new lines, and CiSCO the Asst. manager was quick to assist us and was so knowledgeable, and kind, he answered all our questions went above and beyond for us so patient even stayed late to finish us up. My issue with this transaction was that Norman removed my affiliation with Uber which I'm getting a discount from since 2014 and changed it to military discount without my CONSENT. AT&T rejected the military discount because I could not provide proof that I was part of the military. Now they also removed my Uber discount as well and will be paying regular prices for the devices that I have and their service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE...The below is from the California Towntalk dated October 26,2023. "A resident reported on October 25, 2023, at 21:00, an incident that occurred at the AT&T Store in the Lake Elsinore area. According to the resident, in April/May 2023, they visited the store to replace their phone and were assisted by an employee named Rishad D. Their account verification information was requested and noted down. The resident returned to the store in September after experiencing issues with their phone. It was discovered then that two weeks prior, on August 25th, 2023, 2 phones and 3 AirPods were added to their account, and 2 additional lines were also included. It came out that Rishad allegedly carried out this suspicious activity. The person to whom the items were 'sold' had all the necessary account information, identical to what the resident provided four months earlier. According to the resident, the treatment from the store's management was unhelpful, with refusal to provide video transaction footage. The resident's appeal to ATT's customer service did not yield any satisfactory resolution; they were left bearing the costs for the usurped devices and extra lines." read more

Five Star plus is the overall rating that I give the Manager Cisco and the other employees at the AT&T Store in Lake Elsinore, CA. I was there in July and again in October 2023. I am blessed to have had Cisco help me both times activating and setting up my phones. I have never set foot in this store but ATT corporate has identified them as adding a phone and an early upgrade fee to my account without authorization. Went to this store to get a phone replaced that stopped working within 2 days (no damage). This store said they don't have one in stock, and to drive to the Temecula AT&T since they are corporate and would have it in stock. Drove there, they then tell me they can't replace the phone because it was purchased at an AT&T Spring Mobile store. The reps here aren't knowledgeable at all. I used the AT&T app for help to freeze me account, nope can't do it there. Call number provided by AT&T from app, get recording says from fraud department,"you've reach fraud department and nobody is available", literally that's what it says! Went to the local store for help, no employee had any sense of urgency in the Lake Elsinore, Ca. 92530. Finally got help at a store in another county! The service at this stores was the most horrible I have ever experienced. They lied saying I had the Apple Watch 9. Then when I went back to return due working the Manager accused me of lying telling me there's no way for him to verify this he watch won't hold a charge. He said it's probably because you have the cheap watch. I asked him why I don't have the 9 when that's what his worker told me I was getting. Then after waiting for an hour and a half while the manager went to help everyone that came after me. He informed me that he did not have the same watch. Which obviously he didn't listen I was sold a watch I did not want. He said there was nothing he could do. I told him issue me a refund and that this stores customers service was horrible. I told him that I will bring back my phone and cancel everything ATT since they cannot take care of customers. He said go ahead. What a shitty answer I have had ATT for over 20 years. When I called ATT she informed me not to go to these stores to only go to corporate stores there is one in the Temecula Mall. Buyer Beware they will scam you for everything you have! Do not visit this store from the manager down they are not in a position they should be in customer service. AT&T mobile service is in fact comparable to that of Verizon. This is true; I've had both services! However, AT&T outsources their customer service with whom you have to deal with because it seems you can never reach their customer service within the United States almost ever! Having a discrepancy with your bill is trying enough let alone dealing with rude customer service reps that are deficient in English. Customer service will transfer you from Customer Service to Loyalty department to Financial department to Collections, and finally to their Retention department. And as I've found out back again. Furthermore, it seems as if you can never speak to a supervisor or manager! It's a frustrating process! I've dealt with the same billing issue several times, which is why I canceled my service with AT&T. Each time it's been about added charges to my account. I'll try to explain the 3 different scenarios/explanations I've been given totaling $331: #1 it's due to a prorated amount at the closing of my bill. However, I was told that if I canceled my service; which I did on the 21st of January, by the 26th of January no further costs would be incurred because you typically pay a month in advance for for your services. #2 it's due to under paying on past Bill's and the total of those remainders amounted to $331. However, if you've dealt with AT&T at all, you know they would never allow for that to happen or else they'd cut your services off especially if that amount was so high. I even quoted back to them each monthly payments made going back to September 2018. #3 It was due to a an unposted payment made on remaining balance of a device installment that didn't hit the current bill; balance for this device was paid off on January 12th. The difference in my bill, quoted to me on January 23rd was $399; my final bill is $724. WHAT??? And it seems no one can explain to me why! I was told by their collections department; which my bill is not in collections yet, "If you don't pay the full $724 it will be sent to collection and it will affect your credit." ***Reminder - this is the 3rd or 4th time dealing with this issue with AT&T and the reason for canceling their service. ***As a side note - Are you aware that if you purchase a "BOGO" phone with AT&T you aren't credited for that BOGO right away? Nope! You're charged initially and then given a credit on your next bill. This practice seems a bit fishy to me because how are you ever really supposed to know when your credits hit and when they stop charging you for the supposed BOGO? ***Warning- AT&T has unfair billing practices and may not be worth the headache for their services.*** read more

I was on my way home from San Diego and was in need of a car charger. I decided to Yelp the nearest AT&T store and stumbled upon this location off central. They greeted me right away and I noticed the cleanliness of the store VS other locations like Murrieta. The staff was dressed and addressed me in a professional manner and were very friendly. I don't understand why these other yelpers are giving such negative feedback (I.e Sean, and Velvet i saw some of the places these people have rated.. iHop? Pizza Hut? Worst AT&T store ever. Staff seemed confused when I asked them about Wifi hot spot devices and the latest promotions. Of course I checked the AT&T website for current deals and knew what they offered. Manager Daryl tried to sell me on some complete BS deal. Then he made a "phone call" on his cell phone to someone to see if they still could offer me some previous deal. He walked around the corner and came back after 10 sounds thinking he was slick to tell me there was a special they still could give me. I'm almost started laughing. I went straight to the Corona store off Tuscany where they still have one of the best customer services around. read more

The staff here was very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable when I was looking for a special phone. For years we (wife and I) had used another (big) cell phone wireless provider and it was the end of their contract so time to look at another phone. The old provider (won't mention the name but is starts with "S" and rhymes with "Mint") had only one phone to consider, for older folks like me who simply want a telephone. One that's easy to use, big numbers, loud ring, and not a bunch of mostly useless and confusing "smart" features. (Which the salesman kept pushing.) (I do a lot of PC/internet/work on my potent home office computer so that's where I want horsepower, not on a telephone.) Anyway, I tried this only-option "upgrade" from "Mint" (and not a "stupid-smart" phone) model and it sucked; tiny fonts (even set on "BIG"), wimpy ring (cutesy musical fanfares only), and fat-heavy-ugly. So I returned the thing, disappointed, and tried AT&T. Bingo! AT&T has many different and varied phone model offerings and way better staff. After trying and returning three different models, the last one is perfect. Yes, I had to pay a nominal restocking fee but well worth it since I'd be living with it for a couple of years. The people in this AT&T store went out of their way to make sure I was happy, and I finally am! Never a hint of intimidating "stink-eye" when those first two phones were returned. Excellent customer service, with smiles! Go here if you're getting a cell phone, for sure. No hassle and you'll be happy! read more

BEST EXPERIENCE I've ever had with upgrading my phone! Don't listen to the bad reviews... they have no control over the idiots who put their phone in the washing machine or send their kids to deal with the phone bill alone (in reference to a few other reviews that made me laugh). I typically dread going to get an upgrade, because as much as I want a new phone, I don't want to deal with upselling and being in the store all day. That being said, I went in looking to get the iPhone 8+, I worked with Eric who was awesome! I told him how much max I wanted to pay up front (including down payment and taxes, etc) and how much max I wanted to pay monthly, and he got right on the numbers and I also got an iPad for 99 cents with their promotion. I was in and out in just over an hour (record time!) and paid no more than I needed to. I was worried about transferring the data from my old iPhone, but Eric helped me set up iCloud and transfer everything, he even used his home wifi on my old phone (asked my permission of course) when the store wifi wasn't strong enough to back up my phone to the Cloud. He also helped us open a new line for my mom, and got her an additional iPhone 8+ for free with that line. I'm always wary of these promotions, and previously had been skeptical of non-corporate AT&T stores, but Eric was upfront, honest, and true to his word. No hidden fees or secret charges, and it was such a quick, seamless process. I've never had such a good experience upgrading my phone etc. Will be coming back to this store anytime I need to go to AT&T. Thanks! read more
