Well, life has marched on and our phone needs have changed why shouldn't our service reflect that? Trying to get your landline serviced has become a real hassle and I am reminded that they are doing me a favor by coming out to fix the problem in the box they own. Now I have found out that you are no longer able to change any of your landline packages. Oh yes, they could bundle it with our internet but that would only decrease the charge about $30. So, as explained by the employee, unless I am willing to get rid of my landline ~ i am stuck paying over $100/month. Now I will roll my eyes, shake my head, and politely thank the employee for making me aware.

I paid the amount and signed the receipt thinking everything was done. Then, I was told I still owed another $180+ in taxes. The manager claimed he had mentioned "plus taxes," but at no point was it made clear that there would be an additional $180 charge after the $300+ I had just paid, he rationed this by saying he doesn't see this until after, but if I was doing the sale I could have found 50 different ways to ensure what to expect. I felt blindsided. While I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he said plus taxes, it certainly wasn't clear there was still another significant charge pending. When I expressed that I felt this was misleading, he disagreed. I told him I wasn't looking to argue but wanted to cancel the entire transaction and get a refund, as it felt like a bait-and-switch. He said everything was final and there was nothing he could do. It's not about the money--it's the principle. The process felt like a car sale of financially committing and paying for things thinking your are done before revealing the full cost which was not clear, which is not how I like to do business. In the future, I'll just make my purchases online where things are laid out more clearly.

I worked for at&t for 2 years. So I understand the ins and outs of a proper store vs a…read moredysfunctional store. This is a dysfunctional store for sure. I've been told incorrect promotions. Give zero customer service. In fact the employees have been rude and shown that they can care less. They dont offer proper promotions or discounts but rather will try to upsell you on things you don't need. Overheard an employee giving a customer an older phone she didn't need. She could have gotten a new phone and traded her phone in. The new employee didn't bother to check with his manager if this was the best deal they could give(giving the manager a chance to look over the transaction). I chimed in letting the employee know he can give a better deal that would help both the customer and at&t, however I was told to back off by the employee. I've also called in asking about a promotion and was told they aren't able to discuss it over the phone due to policy. Incorrect. I called another store and they helped me and walked me through any and all promotions. I would recommend to stay away from this location as it is an authorized retailer and not a corporate location. I don't mind driving and extra 10 miles just to find a proper location with proper staff.

My wife and I agreed, and after going through the process we were told that the iPads would have to be shipped from another store. No problem. The next day, we were still waiting for our new phones to activate. Which required my wife to call AT&T directly as the store could not take incoming calls. And two days later she stopped in to pick up the iPads. One was available, and the salesman said he would call in a couple of days when the other came in. 5 days later no call. We stopped in on grand opening day, and caught the manager, who immediately told us that that offer was no longer valid, and it was "while supplies last". His attitude was confrontational and he made it seem like we were at fault. We asked why the sign for the offer was still up, and he replied "well I can take that down if you want". We left, and stopped in at the store in Louis Joliet Mall, (which was basically across the street) just to see if the sign was up, it was not, but after explaining our situation to a salesman, that stores manager started calling around for an iPad, and promised to call us back with a status. The next morning we got a call, telling us they had one, and they would hold it for us. They rocked.

This is absolutely unacceptable! I was understandably upset and said you have to fix this, this is crazy, you lied and she told me that I need to get the fuck out of the store! Very threatening and she is an extremely large person so I feared for my safety!
