DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!! In 2019 I went to this AT&T store to purchase an iPad for my daughter. The manager, who called himself Sam, offered me a free phone if I'd be willing to change my number. I agreed to do this because my phone had a cracked screen. He presented me with two or three numbers to choose from. I chose one and then without me knowing left my old number on my account. I paid for this inactive line for six years without knowing. I learned this recently when I switched to T-Mobile and tried to close my AT&T account. I spoke to a representative at AT&T, and the only reason why he, Sam, would do this is so that he could collect the commission. I've contacted AT&T fraud department. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Horrible experience here. Store own Sam gave wrong information regarding a plan and my eligibility. Got my first bill and it was triple the amount I previously paid. Tried contacting the store multiple times to speak with him and was unsuccessful. Also, when you visit the store during normal business hours there's often a written sign on the door saying "please call". I should have known from this to stay away. My advice is take a trip to green acres mall to a real AT&T store. read more

Please do not go here . I traded in a fully paid phone for an $800 credit . They never turned in my phone after 90 days for trade in credit . No tracking number . They gave me the run around locating my phone . I called , no one called me back . I went to the store to confront them and they "locked " their doors due to a "systems outage ". I had them on speaker with an AT&T representative who caught them in a lie . They wouldn't give the representative their badge number or the invoice number for proof of trade in. The employees there are not official AT&T sellers. I have to file a police report now due to my phone not being traded in . PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE . Go to BEST BUY or COSTCO TO TRADE IN OR BUY A PHONE. That is what the REAL AT&T representative on the phone advised me . read more

This is not an AT&T corporate store this is an authorized dealer claiming to be corporate. I knew something was off when I walked into the store and there were no other workers except the young man sitting behind the counter on his phone. 1. He did not have on AT&T colors or a name tag on his shirt. 2. The store was filthy and unpresentable, nothing like any other AT&T store I'd ever been in. I came here because I was interested in getting a new SIM card because AT&T mentioned my old one wouldn't work since I was switching back from a different AT&T account, but still using my same phone and number. In any case when speaking with AT&T earlier in the day they informed me the SIM card was absolutely free because technically I'm an existing customer. This guy tells me the cost was $45 when inquiring about the SIM card. I knew that was impossible since I've had to get a new SIM card several times due to other issues and it had never cost me anything. He proceeds to tell me that this is the new policy and all AT&T stores charge that amount and I won't find a better deal anywhere else. Now I was confused, I wasn't looking for a deal or looking to get over I just wanted my phone to work normally again. He continued talking to me about how since COVID there are all these new costs, none of which was told to me by an AT&T rep during the whole pandemic. I proceeded to leave and tell him to have a great day because I wasn't going to argue with someone clearly so convinced that he was right and didn't want to help me. I went to an AT&T store just under two miles away and low and behold the SIM card was free and I received the best customer service ever! I will never return to that store and hope no one else does who doesn't want to get involved in a scam or someone overcharging for services and accessories for no reason. I suggest AT&T make all authorized dealers clearly display that they are just that because these people will continue to get people for their money especially if the consumer is not privy to these scammers! This store is a scam. They take your information and screw you over. My husband and I switched to att because we thought we were getting a better deal instead we got horrific problems. There not even supposed to ask for your social and they got mine and all of a sudden too many weird things happened on top of that it is not an official att store! It's privately owned and the person that works there kept trying to add lines onto my account that weren't mine and putting them under devices that I didn't have and now some kind of sick joke charged us 800 dollar for lines that weren't even our own. We went to A REAL AUTHORIZED store and they told us they couldn't help us until the other store fixed it and because there is only one person there can't even find the area manager. Than dealing with them they convinced us to get the new s22 we got defected ones and when I mail it in to get a replacement they send me a Nokia phone which I've never owned my entire life now mind you I just got married so my name just recently changed and not even on my license yet and my bank accounts emails everything magically became hacked. Than 8 lines we were being charged for when we only had 3 and none of the numbers were ours because of something one of THEIR NON OFFICIAL EMPLOYEES DID NOW MY HUSBAND AND I ARE LIVING IN AN ACTUAL HELL BECAUSE OF THIS STORE. THE AUTHORIZED ATT STORE STATED WE DIDNT EVEN NEED TO GIVE THE SOCIAL SECURITY. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE OR YOU WILL GET SCREWED BECAUSE I WILL REPORT THEM TO THE BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU OR THE POLICE FOR IDENTITY THEFT AND FRAUD!! The staff at this store are excellent. They attended to me immediately, were patient and sympathetic when I didn't have all of the information I needed to upgrade, and remembered me when I came back the next day with the correct information. In all, they made a miserable situation on my end much more pleasant than it otherwise would have been. Thank you Sam ! read more

I went to the store today, I had to pick up a new phone. First of all this store saved from an almost 2 hour drive all the way to Suffolk county. (because that's where the stupid online store set up for me to pick my updated new phone) Secondly, the service was nothing but great! The store was really clean and spacious, and they followed Covid-19 protocol. Malik was very understanding and patient. His service was fast and friendly, he took the time to ask me if I needed help to set up my new phone, even though I got there a minute before the store closing time. We switched from optimum to direct tv , paid cancellation fee bc they promised better and more affordable service They charged for installation when they said it was free ..and the boxes we got didn't even display the time or channel. ..we added a new phone bc we are forced to stay with them bc they said it will be a $400 cancellation fee! The staff in this location are rude and try to upsell you anything they can. They ordered an s6 from the AT&T factory and 4 days later I picked it up. They transfered everything into my new phone and I went home thinking everything was fine. I noticed it was refurbished bc it had another girls email address in the spell check section and the only reason I say this is because my name is Ashley so when I went to type my ash, her email popped up. I also noticed some of her previous words she used were stored in the spell check section. I'm upset because this is a 600$ phone and they gave me a previously used phone. I stopped by the store to inquire about the first net plan. I work in law enforcement and several coworkers uilitize the plan. The rude condescending kid first asked what's your credit score? I asked " why do you need to know that?" At this point we had not discussed anything. Not a phone not about the plan and not about moving forward to become a customer. He answered " I need to know you can afford the phone and have a job." "The iPhone is 1300", he said. I answered in a polite manner trying not to meet him at his low level of immaturity, I dont want an iPhone and my shield and work id is proof I have a job. He said well I dont know that you have a job. If my shield and id is not proof I'm in law enforcement then I dont know what would be suffice for the kid It's a good thing hes not a cop because hes not very observant. I'm holding a luxury brand bag and everything I'm wearing is name brand. I'm dressed comfortably sneakers sweats and no makeup. I have a job, I said. I want an android. He went on to comment that androids are too complicated. He said I'm surprised you want something so complicated. I would think you want something more simple he said. I said, "well I guess I'm not slow." Not only did he insult my buying power but insulted my intelligence. Not pd or first responder friendly at all. Just went here to upgrade my phone, they told me I had to upgrade my plan or pay an $100 for the new phone. Both were lies -- I went to Radio Shack, got my new phone for the right price and kept my plan the same. I would never go to this place. They basically lied to my face numerous times. read more

I came to this store since it was conveniently located near my job and I wanted to upgrade my iphone to the iphone X. While I was being helped by the salesman, two middle aged african american males walked in looking to purchase a phone for someone, they told the salesman they didn't have ATT service and asked about an iphone X. The salesman said that I was getting the last iphone X they had in store since I had called them earlier, that they didnt have inventory since it was the end of the month but if they wanted he could order one that would be in next week or they could go to the ATT at Greenacres mall. Then they asked about the S9, again he told them that since it was the end of the month he had no extra inventory of it. Once they left I said, "wow i really lucked out for getting the last one!" he then stated, " i have iphones in stock but i knew these people are just trying to play games" .. I was so speechless that this salesman literally didn't sell to these guys for being African American! I was mortified and couldn't believe I witness such a racist moment! Then the salesman wanted to sell me everything under the sun from an overpriced glass screen protector, iphone case, and Ipad at "discounted prices". Such a shame especially from a salesman being a minority himself (Indian) to not sell to these guys. Will definitely not be returning to this location for anything! read more

I have been to many At&t stores in the area and I have never had an issue with my bill or the service from the store reps. Everytime I go in there I am always treated well and get satisfaction for my att needs. What I really love about the store is that its always clean and everyone is always friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this store since I have been dealing with them for many years and I always recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

I was clueless and did not realize this was an "authorized seller" and not a corporate store. It is usually posted clearly right under the att logo and this particular location was not clear. I wanted to upgrade my phone by bringing my own iphone. I went to store thinking i could get a mini sim card for free since it was advertised online to be free until the end of the month. The dude at the store who helped me was smooth! I didnt know I was being scammed and i even thanked him for all his help! First of all, he told me the sim card was not free and that he didnt know of any promotion that stated that so he charged me $25 + tax for the sim. Then he said that to activate my new phone, there would be a $40 activation fee even though I was bringing my own phone. He said that he could get that fee waived if he activated an ipad "wifi hotspot" (without an ipad because I said I didn't need a new one, i had one already) which would cost only $10/month and to come back in 2 or 3 months to cancel it and not to forget to come back to him to cancel it. By then i was getting a little confused but i'm embarrassed to say I didn't question it. I went home somewhat perturbed. Lucky for me, i had purchased another iphone from amazon which came 2 days later which I called ATT (corporate) to help me activate. The guy on the phone told me since i was on a special government plan (I am a city employee), the sim card is free and he was sorry that the store charged me for one. Also, there are no charges whatsoever to transfer my service from my old phone to my new"BYOP" phone. He then told me there is only one corporate store in my area and to go only there, not to the one i was scammed at. So I went to the"real" store and the helpful rep David, gave me my sim for free and then proceeded to ask if I knew I had a new wifi hotspot on a 2 year contract. I told him my story and why that hotspot was created. David proceeded to tell me that I did not need that since it was on a 2 year contract and i had a no contract plan and that is only usually created with the purchase of an ipad or other equipment. He urged me to go back to the store that created it ASAP as I had only 14 days to cancel the contract. David adamantly told me to make sure that they cancel it right in front of me and call 611 on my phone to verify it was cancelled right there. I was on day 4 at this point. I went immediately to the store to cancel it at around 6pm and the smooth dude and another female rep told me that they would cancel it no problem and since it was already 6 pm, they couldn't do it as offices are now closed. The female rep then told me they would send me an email confirming it was cancelled by tomorrow when it was done. I left the store and called 611 on the phone and told them what the store told me. They thought it strange that the store used the 6pm excuse and didn't cancel the contract as requested immediately. The phone rep assured me they would make a note in my account in case I could not cancel the contract within 14 days (otherwise I would be charged early termination fees in the 100s) They explained that they could not directly cancel the line without the store's info. I was instructed to go back there first thing in the morning to make sure the store cancels it. So i went bright and early the next day and the female rep tells me obnoxiously that they had cancelled the line. I said I don't think so, i just checked my account and it is still there! She very rudely told me that they emailed me about it and again I said I just checked my email and there is nothing there! Then she claimed that the email takes a while. I said I should call ATT directly and she rudely told me to go ahead and call...so I did! The ATT rep told me the line was still active and there was nothing noted that it was being processed to be cancelled. In the meantime, my smooth dude came in. The phone rep asked to speak directly to him to process the cancellation, on my own phone. Finally!!! Sure enough, the cancellation was immediate, the phone rep confirmed it was done, and I got a txt message stating it was cancelled! The moral of the story....NEVER GO TO AN ATT AUTHORIZED SELLER ESPECIALLY THE ONE IN LYNBROOK NY! Btw, since the virtual hotspot was created, 1.2g of data was used on the line...by whom we will never know! read more
