Terrible experience here trying to take advantage of the trade in deals to get a new iPhone. I thought it would be easier to do it in store rather than online or over the phone because I wanted to make sure I got it done right. First they ordered me the wrong phone, then they wouldn't send it back for me and said I had to call customer service. Customer service told me I could take it to ANY AT&T store. I went to another store to see if they would send it back for me, and they said I had to do it at the original store I ordered it from. I was also promised some "holiday bundle" which I never got even though I went into the store several times to ask for it. The salesman just kept telling me to come back when someone else was working... I probably went into this location 4-5 times during this whole fiasco, and the last straw was when I showed up in the middle of the day and the doors were locked and it was closed during regular business hours. I'm not really one to write reviews online, I get that everybody has bad days. I called in to see if by chance there was security footage showing a storefront hit and run in the parking lot and the alleged manager on duty told me that he had no authority to talk to me about security matters and then hung up on me. Customer service does matter, not super impressed with the interaction I just had with Everest. Hopefully they improve. read more

Came into the store today to open a new line and simply have my phone number transferred. Johnny who was "helping" had no idea what was going on, he called the AT&T helpline (something I could have done myself) and stayed on the line on hold the entire 20 minutes I was there. He understood the circumstances, I told him exactly what the AT&T line already told me and he still refused to do it and stay on the phone with the helpline! He stated if I keep telling him what to do then I could leave and he will refuse to help; even though he was no help at all. Went to the Corporate AT&T store and they simply completely the process in less than 20 minutes. Do not go to this location, it is just an authorized store, not a corporate. Manager Patrick gets you into what seems like a good deal but not what it seems at all. My bill is more than what it was before I switched to AT&T. We traded in our working iPhones after being told our new devices would be free after credit kicks in in two months. That's not the case. I'm only getting half off. Which is the same price everyone can get online which any trade in or anything!! They screwed me over. Had to pay $600 to get those device from my old company and get absolutely nothing out of it. It's sad people will still do this to you. Patrick just cares about signing you up and sales so he can make it $$. Poor customer service and do not recommend to anyone. read more

Rode my bicycle 7 miles in the heat of day at 6ish pm and 111 degrees a couple of days ago to get a new phone. Was planning to drop $1400+ on the galaxy s20 ultra. I called to confirm it was in stock, it was: Great! I arrived and noticed some a typewriter paper sign on the door about covid-19 and comparing face masks to pants, jokesters. I walked in anyway as Eric didn't tell me about a mask on the phone and I didn't bring one with me. Ignoring the mask. I told him the reason for my visit and he recalled our phone call and he went to get the phone from the back. He acted as if it was no big deal, I was the only person besides him in the room and he clearly wasn't threatened. He come back, gets my ID and we are about to sit down and get this thing paid for when he starts in with the mask hysteria like out of left field. He says "do you have a mask" to which I answered "I dont have one" I offer to wear my tshirt over my face, that's somehow unacceptable. He offers me a mask from the back room, I figure wth I'll try it, really cool to offer that. He comes back in carrying a cloth mask with no wrapper whatsoever, that has been who knows where, and he is carrying it by the mask material with his bare hands! Let me repeat that, right where you should be breathing through, he has his bare hands all over! Then he expects me to put it around my face! I'm like, seriously dude!? Dont you know there is a virus going around? People apparently dont know how viruses operate. I was expecting a sealed sterile mask, not something straight from contaminated hands! The tried to tell me he didn't want to get in trouble for breaking the law. Mfr you're trying to give me the virus! Then he tries to tell me it's my choice, no sir, there was no "choice" a choice would have been okay your shirt is good, it's the same freaking material that all there clowns are wearing anyway. I want to emphasize, there is no mask laws. Only proclamations and they weak. I also want to emphasize I took my $1399 + tax purchase and bought it somewhere else without a mask. You companies that blindly follow this are going to lose out, you lost out on my dollars which sucks because before all this I kind of liked this place. Franchise owner: look closely at the independent scientific reports I screen shot below, this are just a couple of SEVERAL studies dating between 2010 and 2020. The data is out there. Masks put you at higher risk. Go do some homework and quit propagating the same lies and hysteria the media and the government filled your head with. read more

I had recently gone to the AT&T (DANA PARK, Mesa AZ) store to upgrade my devices, and see if I could somehow gain them faster then the online order I had placed a few days prior, as they were a month, out. I worked with a man by the name of "Carlos T". As we all know, purchasing/upgrading is often more intense than buying a dang car! Me, I ask a boat load of questions, and I document, everything. After, I gave him the shake down (LOL), I was happy to report, 1, of my 2 devices, would be hand delivered to my door, that night. I received it....Fast forward, 2 days...iPhone 11 (256GB) will NOT hold a charge, nor get past 70%, keys jamming and over heating. I go back to see Carlos. We spent well over an hour plus, getting this mess straightened out. We called customer service (4) times, to get them to make this right. I just got it (2) days ago. Still have (12) days to return, rrrriiight (Got to stay on this stuff!!! Feel me?!!)?!? Again, Carlos was VERY patient, THOROUGH and, Professional, while never letting up on the back-end, to correct the technical system error, so that we could place my replacement order. Not only did I take the time to elaborate to Carlos's manager of his IMPECCABLE customer service; but, I brought him back some lunch!! I'm recommending Carlos be your next service contact. This is not a corporate store and the employees have minimal knowledge of how to service their products. I have been there multiple times and the employees have messed up my account or lied to me. Just head 1 mile away to the corporate store on greenfield. You will save yourself time and a headache!!!! read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! I was blatantly lied to and scammed by the employee at this store. I went in to exchange my phone for an upgrade and was told by the employee, Jazmine, that I was eligible for an amazing promotion with my upgrade which included a FREE Apple Watch and $20 AirPod pros out the door. Sounds too good to be true? That's because it was. My account was later charged full price for the AirPods and began accounting for monthly installments to pay full price for the watch. Thankfully I was able to catch the dishonesty before the 14 day period which you have to return devices. I went into the store two days before the time frame was up and was told I couldn't return the devices without a manager present. I was told to come back the next day only to find that the store was closed. These employees are clearly willing to say or do anything to make a commission on their sale. I'm so surprised at the complete dishonesty, lack of integrity and respect these employees treated me with. A loyal customer of 10 years at AT&T. Extremely disappointed and frustrated at the hoops alone I had to jump through just to give back the items. Those which I would have never taken in the first place if I knew the truth. I went in not really knowing what I wanted and Carlos was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. He helped me find a phone I'm happy with and let me know all my options for deals they have going on. Super friendly and very patient. After I walked out and got into my car I saw through the window that Carlos was cleaning the table and iPad we were using to complete the transaction, doing his part to keep his customers healthy. I use this location a lot. It's generally ok, but the people that are working there now are horrible. They seem to cycle through employees rather quickly at this location so YMMV. But I went in this week with a brand new Samsung s10e that just quit sending and receiving calls and texts. I had done troubleshooting with support on the phone, but needed to try my SIM card in another device for further troubleshooting. So I went to this store to complete that test. At the store, all tests came up negative so it appeared that the phone itself was bad. The guy assured me the phones are NEVER faulty. Like, do I look stupid? Even if Samsung has 99.9% QC rate, there are still phones that are faulty. But whatever. I didn't want to hurt his little ego that was shattering under his incompetence, so I obediently sat there while he tried and tried to fix the phone. Perhaps if he could focus on my situation, instead of being so distracted by to hot blond also in the store, he could have really understood the problem and realized the phone is messed up. Instead, he was half working on my problem and was also busy GIVING away blue tooth speakers to the hottie lady. (and for the record, not really anything to do with this story, but she wasn't interested in him. She wanted to pay for the speaker bc it was a little gross how he was just giving her shit.) Anyway, he ended up doing a factory reset. He assured me he backed up my contacts prior to the reset, but ends up that he didn't. He said emailed me a file of them, but when I check the email, there was no attachment. They were all deleted. He should really be held accountable for that, but he won't be. It ended up that he couldn't fix my phone. He told me to take it to Best Buy. Why would I do that? I bought it at THAT LOCATION, and its under warranty. So, I left with a broken phone. I came home a called customer support again. Thank God they were able to restore my contacts, and initiate the warranty for a new phone bc it IS defective. Really gross, misogynistic experience. Eric hooked me up with a sweet bundle adding additional lines of service on my account. He was the only employee at the time. Very impressed how he was able to multi task in helping others at the same time as me. I would definitely recommend Eric for his top notch service skills. read more

First off, I am convinced that AT&T needs to have some sort of competency exam before hiring a bunch of incompetent employees. I recently upgraded phones at this store and decided I did not want it anymore and was told my AT&T customer service to return it to the same store I got it from. I was printed a receipt and left. Few weeks later I realize I am still getting charged for the same phone I physically returned to THIS store. I call customer service and they tell me to go to the store I returned it to (this store). I go back and one of their employees assures me she will contact her manager to get it sorted out. Here I am almost 2 months later and still getting charged for the same exact phone. I go to the store today and that same female employee is present with a now new incompetent manager. Without even asking questions about my case he says that he cannot help me because he is not aware of any ongoing case that had to do with me. I informed him that he did not even look up any of my info. He said he is not responsible for anything that happened before him and that he cannot help me with my issue. What kind of customer service is that? It is not my personal problem that you decided to start a new position at an existing AT&T store with established customers. I was livid. read more

When I walked in there was no "hello we'll be right with you"... No one acknowledged I had even walked in. The employees have very little customer service. At one point there was 2 employees helping 1 customer for at least 40 minutes. A question here or there about how to do something I totally understand. But when you have 4 customers waiting for help that's not ok. read more
