Employee/Representative claimed it was false advertising and was rushing to be done apparently he was more concerned with getting lunch because he was "F--king hungry" (which he told another employee) than helping out. Horrible customer service experience. I bought an iPhone 7plus 3 days ago and it has a problem since the start. I waited a long time in the store even though there was only one customer in front of me. Everyone has an attitude, especially Gabriel. He called my name when it was my turn, then didn't acknowledge me for several minutes. He acted as if I was bothering him by simply daring to come to the store. He asked me a question, left without explaining why, came back and still with an attitude told me I need to take my issue at Apple. This might be their policy, but things still have to be handled politely. Given their poor customer service, attitude and policies, I regret switching to At&t and wish I had stayed with Sprint. My service and phone were working fine. I switched to lower my monthly bill and now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work and rude people. After the above experience I went back to the car and checked their policy online. It says they must accept returns, so they have to honor it. They were trying to send me through the Apple loop to have my brand new defective phone repaired, instead of exchanging it like their policy says. That would have taken a long time with shipments and all, instead of just replacing a defective product. I'm so glad I read their own policy. I'm waiting again, I'll post how it goes. The second employee was nicer. The only way to avoid the restocking fee is to take it to Apple. ‍ read more

I have a dilemna when reviewing utilities. In our modern, connected society, services should be "there", like oxygen. Technically we should be able to take them for granted and not have to review them. So, would you review as 5-star just for fixing the service or automatically knock a star off for the fact that said utility was not at 100%? As a lot of my fellow yelpers know, I WAS one of the biggest proponent of Blackberry phones and all excited for the new Torch..until it started acting umm not quite as advertised... This was the location close to my office, and otherwise centrally located on the corner of US1 and Kendall Drive. My first try was within a week of getting the device (touchscreen issues). They did some testing in the store, and ended up replacing the device. I also went through three device changes through the 800 number tech support and will say they were very thorough in their testing and follow-up. My final device swap-out was thsi week, where I was liberated from the cursed Blackberry. While I didn't get an iPhone I ended up with an HTC Aria (Android Phone). I did have to go to the store to get a SIM card for the new phone (and allow me to do my first Yelp check-in!) I did have to wait about 20 minutes until their technicians were able to help me, and they were helpful in setting it up. However, I did have to remind the tech to put the SIM card IN the phone (which is why I knocked off 2 stars). They also tend to recommend and upsell phone accessories. Still and all, my new phone seems to be working (despite Mercury being in retrograde) and I was able to check in on Yelp, so life is good! read more

I haven't been here in awhile due to a history of horrible service. Came back in the store as a convenience on the way back from work. Again terrible service. Initially 4 customer reps. One left after I was there for 45 minutes. Two went on break at same time. Only one rep left to handle appts and walk-ins for about an hour. Overhearing staff At the store confirms what I already knew...why work quickly if it doesn't matter or no specific incentive to work quickly. Clearly NOT a customer centered approach from management or employees. I started as #4 on the list with only one scheduled spot on the board. After 90 minutes I left with ought being seen and still #2 on the list. CUSTOMER BEWARE...STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service experience ever. Another example of a giant company that has you by the throat no doing anything to provide any type of decent customer service. We came in to pick up a replacement sim as advised by care over the phone. After 40 mins of waiting they gave us the $5.00 card and sent us on our way.. couldn't they have take the 2mins to hand us the card after having approached a sales person in heavy conversation with her friends!? It's a shame the direction and trend you get now days. Service is a thing of the past. 5 employees 30 people sitting around waiting..! Please teach your employees to multitask, it isn't that difficult to talk to someone find out the problem, start working on it, and help someone else at the same time. read more

Absolutely awful customer service. I ordered the phone online and had problems with SIM card. I tried making an appointment online or by phone but nobody pick up the phone. Showed up, waited almost one hour, only 3 employees and mostly going in and out of their private "employee only" door. Finally got a lady to help me who clearly did not know what she was doing. After I left I realized she connected the wrong line to the new phone and that left my husband without a working phone for an entire day. I tried to fix it with 611 customer service but they also said it was not possible. Now I have been waiting another hour for someone to fix the problem they caused earlier in the day. Truly frustrating dealing with this company, worth exploring other companies in the future. read more

Waste of time. Appointments mean nothing to these people. I took the time to be prepared and call customer service to make an appt. I waited 20 min. Then when I am attended the gentleman provides me with incorrect information but also as little info as possible so that I leave the store and lose the appointment. I call customer service and customer service tells me the opposite of what the gentleman stated. Laziness - the gentleman just has to look up my account and he couldve helped me. Came here to help my girlfriend solve a problem, but they were extremely unhelpful. The front girl was nice, but MOD Ernesto Ajo (sp?) was not accommodating. These are the reasons I'm going to convince her to switch carriers. It is ridiculous that they treat their customers like cattle. read more

After reading the newest reviews and they being negative, plus already annoyed that my phone had totally died, I was not looking forward to visiting this store. I went on Friday at about 11:30am. It started a bit negative as someone just walked right through and was taken ahead of me even after I made a point of saying I was there first, and then waiting about 15 minutes (as it seems I was forgotten about). But, believe it or not, Lily made up for these things. The 5 stars are for her. She was very patient, gave me all the information I needed, answered any questions and even helped me set up the new phone. So, if you get Lily on your next visit you'll be taken care of. And a note to Lily...Thank you for your help. (One suggestion for AT&T and the store: Use stanchions to keep people waiting in line for their turn and not just walking through.) read more

I usually visit the At&T at the Falls but this location is a lot closer to my house so I went for a quick upgrade. Thankfully arrived to get help from the last available sales rep, Gabriel, and quickly sat down to get to upgrading! He was quick and helpful in answering questions and explaining and on top of that was funny and easy to get along with. On International Women's Day, an employee at the store became uncomfortable with me-a mom with a 1 year old. As my baby grew fussy, I excused myself and sat in a discreet setting to nurse my son. No breast or nipple or skin or whatever is so offensive was showing. In fact, all she saw was my back. The store manager approached me awkwardly to let me know her employee was uncomfortable with me and to inquire if I had a cover to put on my son as he nursed. I finished the transaction with another female employee, who was not as offended by a mother breastfeeding. Other than being disgusted by a female's ignorance, I was ashamed of the employee's lack of knowledge regarding the rights of a mom to breastfeed her child wherever, whenever and however she wants. I wonder if the store manager and her employee address women dressed in low cut tops with cleavage exposed or young girls with short shorts on to cover up while refusing to wait on them. Shame on you AT&T for being ignorant and, worst of all, failing to support the rights of women. read more

Terrible experience I came in to this store with my brother to sign up for a prepaid plan and the actual manager (according to his name tag) Michael "tried to help us" and just had a bad attitude and not informative at all when asked about plans and phones but honestly he just didn't look like he was happy to help someone who wanted a prepaid plan! I am a brand new customer who received their FIRST BILL for AT&T/ U-Verse and a surprise wireless service was crammed onto the bill. There is no much I can say about this type of store. They are all pretty much the same, fully stocked with the latest smartphone models, cases, and accessories but I do want to review this place because of the service which was exceptional. Our rep, Phet, went out of her way to help us. Even though we were only there to upgrade my mom's phone she took the time to review my mom's account and found ways to save her money in several ways. Additionally she reviewed my fiancé's account as well mine and suggested ways in which I could also save money on my monthly bill. She was really everything that customer service should be about. I'm incredibly disappointed at the service I received on December 20th, 2018 at the AT&T Store (8821 S Dixie Hwy). I went to the store to upgrade my phone and line. When I arrived, there were 3 people waiting to be added to the waiting list and nobody from the store had approach them to get their names, only 3 customer service representatives were with customers at the time. I could hear laughter and giggles in the break room behind the closed doors and about 3 different voices. After 15 minutes waiting a customer asked to speak to the manager and the manager's name, however the customer service representative "didn't know" the manager's name and went back to the break room. A few minutes later another customer representative by the name of Eric Gonzalez came out with a Tablet asking for names, as I asked him for his name he refused to give me his name and continued asking for mine, not until I asked him a third time he became extremely rude and answered in a rude tone of voice "I havenothing else to talk to you" and walked away.   I requested to speak to the manager which I was told it was a male, however a female (Catherine) came out asking what the problem was. I explained to her that we have been waiting for a long time and nobody had the decency to tell us: "we will right with you" or add us to the waiting list. I asked her to speak with the branch manager at which point she stated: "he is inside but he is unavailable right now", I then asked her what was the name of the District Manager and she was said: Carlos something, I don't know because they get changed a lot.   Clearly this store has had several issues with customer service and the branch manager doesn't take responsibility for the actions of the representatives or refused to acknowledge the lack of training or customer service skills. As a customerservice manager your priority should be the CUSTOMERS. I hope the District Manager takes special attention to the complaints this store has and do something about it. read more

AVOID! We arrived around 7pm on a Monday night and there were several employees loitering but not helping us. Even the manager passed by and did not inquire as to if we were being helped. This location isn't professional at all nobody answers the phone at all. All of the associates are rude including the manager(s). The sales associate Tanya hangs up on people when they do decide to answer the phone. I will never do business at this location. I came here after getting the run around at the flagler store when I just wanted to upgrade my phone, I was helped out by Carlos R, he was very attentive and you could tell he knew his stuff. I'm writing this because its not common in these places to have someone actually be helpful. In addition he also got me a good price on our Uverse. I went into the store in person and had an extremely horrible experience. I waited 20 minutes to see an extremely rude sales associate who told me I had to fix my problem over the phone.
