This store has the worst customer service that I have ever encountered. After my phone was stolen, I went in to find out what my options were since I still owed money on the stolen phone. I was told I could get a new phone, payments would be the same so naturally I said ok. Well, if it sounds too good to be true .. I was sold a 3rd line and now must make payments for 3 phones (the lost phone, the new phone and my husband's phone) PLUS service plans for all 3 phone lines and of course taxes and fees. Now I found out I could have just brought in an older phone I already own to replace my lost phone saving a TON of money. I had no idea and that option was never mentioned. I went there to get a new phone for my son. We thought we had a great rep helping us. Turned out, Nicholas S at this store lied to us about how the old phone would be eligible for a trade in if we got the cracked screen fixed. We were ready to stop the purchase and do that first. He told us we didn't need to wait. We could but the new one first, then do the repair and trade in within 30 days. Turns out, once a new phone is on the protection plan, the old phone is no longer eligible to fix. THEN it turns out the phone itself is not eligible for trade in anyway. You will see that, in the previous and initial review, I mention not being so thrilled with the Clackamas Town Center AT&T store for a myriad of reasons. I need to review that store. I find that the smaller stores, such as this AT&T store near the junction of I-205 and McLoughlin and not in a huge mall, are the way to go. However, my experience here which called for 4 stars has changed with a few subsequent drop-ins to ask questions or seek solutions. The people who helped me were polite but weren't as interested as was the person who signed me up. And it wasn't just because that person signed me up. That person also helped me with the same level of enthusiasm on a few subsequent visits to ask questions or get clarification. That said, the reason others were helping me was because, upon asking for the person who sold me my plan, I found out that he is no longer at that store. I will say that this store is definitely preferable to the one at Clackamas Town Center, which is a frenzied mill, but I wouldn't say it's a 4 star experience. However, at 3 stars, AT&T in Oregon City, across the street from the Rivershore Inn and Clackamette Park, is, overall, a good store in terms of service and competence. read more

Score one for Oregon City. The rating would be higher if I was solely basing my review on customer service at this location. However they are going to be tarnished by my impression of AT&T service and coverage in general. I purchased phones earlier this year and have made multiple visits to the Wilsonville location. My experiences there have been mixed, but on several occasions completely unsatisfactory. When I bring the same issues to this Oregon City location, they are resolved to the best of their ability. I feel like they are at least trying to satisfy their customers. Ever since I purchased my iPhone and switched from Verizon to AT&T, I have had little to no coverage at my home. Even though I'm in the city limits in the metro area, my entire street exists in some sort of black hole that gets almost no coverage. Oregon City at least tried to address the problem by telling me about the 'Mark the Spot' application to log service issues with the provider. Another AT&T representative informed me that I really need my own personal cell phone tower, which they will gladly sell me for $120. No thank you. So when I have issues, and I've become resigned to the fact that there will always be issues with AT&T, I'll come to this location. I feel like I at least have a reasonable chance of getting an answer, a workaround or some commiseration. read more

I was in this store on 9-19-2020. Got there at 9am. 2 ladies working the store. The younger dark haired woman help me. I told her exactly what I needed. Restore my phone from iCloud and update to iso14. THIS MAY HAVE PISSED HER OFF THAT I KNEW WHAT I NEEDED DONE. She was rude the whole time. She completed the task "I thought"and handed me my phone and said I could go. I left. My phone I noticed its not restored. I returned and asked her. She said it was fine and will finish down loading from cellular data. So I leave again. Again my phones not loading. So I returned again. Again she insists my phone will finish the restore from iCloud on my cellular data. I leave again. Phone not restoring. Now I'm pissed. Next day I go too at&t at clackamas town center to ask about my iCloud restore. They said it requires WiFi to complete and they completed it for me. FYI stay far away from the Oregon city shopping center att store. The woman there was a real bitch and needs to be fired. read more

Ok so the complaints about the wait time to be serviced are valid. However, when it is your turn there is no rushed feeling. You have 100% attention from the representative that is helping you. That is the reason for my 5 star rating. I felt like I waited way to long until I was actually helped then I appreciated the undivided attention I received. The representative that helped me was extremely helpful with my questions and i never felt rushed even though there were several customers waiting to be helped. That in its self is worth the wait. This location is a joke. We waited for over 2 hours to be helped. We were told we were next in line and then an appointment walked in. While we were waiting two employees (one who was the manager) stood around staring at those of us who were waiting. At one point and employee finished up and then went home. The other two employees spent their time chit chatting and trying to upsell the customers they were working with. I get that you are on commission but we came in and said we were there to buy. While we waited we had picked out a whole bunch of accessories and cases for our current phones. Well, you completely lost the commission off our sale because we left. We will go somewhere else. Do not go to this location. The manager is rude and the employees don't have any sense of urgency. read more

As a recent transfer from Verizon (I have been with them since 1986 GTE MobileNet days!), I visited this store after my dear friend and business partner visited 3 different AT&T stores before deciding to switch carriers. I decided to switch and ported over 3 phone numbers from Verizon to AT&T. Not an easy task, but they made it very easy! I found that each trip to this Oregon CIty store, the customer service was exceptional. polite and responsive to all of my concerns and needs!! It is a huge decision to make this type of change and they really made it pretty easy. The staff at this store seemed to go out of their way to make sure any issues or questions I had were taken care of. That's what customer service is about. I am very glad that we switched and have a local store that will take care of the customer and make you feel like you are just a number like at the Clackamas Verizon store always did! read more

Just got the iPhone 5s. And I needed some help finishing the start up and transfer of data (such as APPS) from my old phone to the new phone. Also needed a screen protector and some help getting started on Apple's new operating system 7. Additionally needed the phone Bluetoothed to my car. After a short wait I was helped by Carmen. Everything was taken care of efficiently in what seemed like 15 minutes. She did a great job and made me glad I'm a customer of AT&T ( not that I was unhappy before). As a recent transfer from Verizon (we were with them for 9 yrs and had cell service since 1987), I actually visited 3 different AT&T stores before deciding to switch carriers. My switch involved porting 3 phone numbers and using one of our devices with AT&T. Not an easy task. We tried out the service (30 day trial - pay for what you use) and made sure their coverage would work for us. It took several visits only because we tested their coverage, then ported the 3 phone numbers at different times. As with any large company, floor layout, displays etc. are standardized as are the offerings of service plans and equipment. But what I found (at least in the OC and 2 calls to 611) is exceptional customer service, polite and responsive staff and that they're always willing to help out with any questions. It can be a daunting task of deciding to switch carriers. The staff at this store seemed to go out of their way to make sure any issues or questions I had were addressed. There was one visit in which they were pretty busy, but they still greeted me, told me how long my wait would approximately and kept me updated as I waited. One employee decided that instead of going home that she would assist me. I told her to go enjoy her family, but she insisted. Sarah was knowledgeable, friendly and made a laborious task of switching a painless experience. She went out of her way to assist me. That's what customer service is about. read more

I have been a long time customer of ATT, and was appalled at the service I received at your Oregon City, Oregon Store, on the night of 12-2-2014. I entered the store with my Samsung S 3 stating that the glass on my phone had shockingly shattered. A nice young lady with dark hair was attempting to listen and resolve my issue, then asked if I remembered who I had spoken to on the phone when I called to report the issue.It was quickly deduced to have been Nicholas the store manager, as he walked over interrupted us saying he was the one, and had not said what I was relaying. Having managed people for more years than he has probably been alive, 26 to be exact, it immediately put me on the defensive due to his unprofessionalism . I asked him to look up on the internet for himself and see that there were indeed issues with it overheating. I have printed off 13 pages to bring to him as a learning curve. He refused to look it up saying that he already knew there was nothing referring to the S 3.I asked him to call the repair center, a place across town that he had attempted to hand me off to in the first place over the phone. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Michael, and he had politely told me to bring the phone in. I then asked Nicholas to call Michael for me, he again refused... In fact the young lady informed me that they were not allowed to call the repair center, handed me a phone, and told me to call. Exasperated I did, Michael informed me that he had made an error. Then Nicholas started taking pictures of my phone. I asked him what he was doing, and he would not answer me. At this point I was more than mildly perturbed. He repeated several times that I had to of dropped the phone!!!!!!!!! As GOD is my witness I did not drop my phone. He kept insulting me, and more than once, basically inferred I was a liar. I was shocked and told him I found it interesting that he was willing to always take my money over the years, when I wanted to purchase accessories, and new phones, but wanted to treat me so disrespectfully when I needed help. I left the store visibly upset, which appeared to not be of concern to any of the employees of that location. On the morning of the 3rd of December I called customer service at 1-800-331-0500 and spoke to an agent by the name of Crystal Hamilton. I informed her right off the bat, that I was very upset, and apologized from the get go that she had been the one who had answered MY CALL. I was absolutely blown away with her service. She was amazing. She said," Can you give me a few minutes to look up your account". After several minutes she apologized profusely, said that a new phone would be sent out to me promptly.She said there was no need to see my phone first, as she believed me, and apologized for Nicholas's service. I received a brand new phone in the mail today 12-9-2014. I will give her a 5 star rating personally!!!! She was fabulous, and if it hadn't been for her calming demeanor I can assure you I would no longer be an ATT customer. Today when I received my new phone, I had issues with the Sim card. Again it must of been my lucky day in restoring my faith in ATT. A lovely lady by the name of Judy Shannon politely walked me through it. We got disconnected because my dog started barking... so I did not get an opportunity to personally thank her. I was truly intending to bring Nicholas my old phone with the broken glass as a Christmas gift, asking him to hang it in his office in memory of a well paying client that HE SHATTERED ALL POSSIBILITY OF ME RETURNING TO HIS STORE. With sadness I felt the need to relay this story, in hopes that it will be a lesson learned by Nicholas, never to be repeated again. read more

I've been shopping at this AT&T store for almost 10 years. I now live about 15 miles away (work 2 blocks from an AT&T store and live about 2 miles from one) but will continue to use this store and specifically Kyle for all my AT&T concerns. Kyle rocks. He listens to your needs and will not try to oversell you. He patiently waited for me to upgrade my phone to the smartphone and never pressured me into the sale (even though he knew I needed it and would be much happier with it and told me this, but said it was my decision - he finally got me to LOOK at the IPhone and ultimately buy when I was ready to throw my "new" phone out the window). This was 4 years ago. Today I called for a business need. Kyle was not working, but offered to help. No, we are not personal friends, he just knows how to treat a customer. 100% loyal customer. We used to have AT&T. In fact, my first phone was an LG Neon, my favorite phone ever. I loved it (even more than my Motorola Droid RAZR M with Verizon). Well, this store was where I got it. There's really good service here. They help with whatever you need! I liked the displays. They were really nicely decorated! Anyway, there is even a Starbucks next door, so come get coffee AND a new phone! read more

I wish I was able to give this store a higher rating because I did receive good service from Dane when I upgraded my phone, it is pathetic that his good service was so severely tarnished (not by him) by something as ridiculous as a $25 cell phone case. I purchased the case with my new phone because I was told there was a warranty in the fist year and I could bring it back without my receipt and replace it if it needed to be replaced. I wish I wouldn't have given this store any of my money. I first visited the store 19 days after I upgraded and bought the phone case, they checked me in and I was told that they couldn't help me because the name on my account (my maiden name) did not match my license...interesting because 19 days earlier I was able to upgrade my phone but to exchange a phone case my name needed to match? They did not have the exact same case so I was told the exchange couldn't take place, it had to be the same. At this point I decided I would just return the case. My receipt was at home so I returned to the store later with my receipt to return the case. Well this was not possible either because it was a warranty issue and likely the manufacturer would deny the claim. Never once did they offer to put in a claim. I was made to feel like I was trying to pull something over on them when all I wanted was a new case; one I bought from them because I was told if I had any problems with it I could bring it back...WRONG! Twice the different sales associates I worked with had to talk to a manager behind a locked door about issues that they should have been empowered to take care of themselves. When I did speak to a manager he was no help at all saying he knew how I felt and using some pathetic sales/manger training techniques to try to make the situation better which he did not. All it did was make me more angry and decide that I would never spend any more money at that store. All this over a $25 case, yes it is only $25 and I can buy another case. This store and its policies made me feel that I am not a valued customer. I had a great experience with Dane but my dealings with Chris and the others today with this stupid case completely destroyed that experience. read more

They sold me a used phone as new. It was full of somebody's appointments and apps. When I took it back they called me a liar, said I must have put the stuff in the phone. They offered me a different phone for $35. I said that was unacceptable, they said leave the store or they'll call police, which they did. (Police said I could sue AT&T but no criminal charge for fraud.) Later I called AT&T, they said go back to the store. But I couldn't, they would call police! They are liars and fraudsters at this store. read more

I then asked if they would put it on hold for me and then they hung up the phone.... I thought that was weird so I decided to just go to the store anyways because it was a 20 min drive. When I arrived this girl checked me in and I told her the story and she said she had the phone in stock. I had to wait for 15mins for the lady to come back and tell me that she just sold it to someone else. Talk about a waste of time. This was the worst experience I have had with this location. Absolutely horrible customer service. The manager Ryan was rude, unapologetic, and made it our fault that his representatives did NOT disclose a 'transfer' fee. When asked for an explanation as to why we were not informed, he gave us a condescending response. This AT&T store also included a mobile protection package on my device without disclosing so they could receive extra commissions WITHOUT my consent or knowledge.This is to a long term customer of AT&T!
