It was so hard to not give them 1 or zero stars (if that possible). The only reason I gave any stars was because Leslie was so awesome. Initially Karlizza helped me and was horrible. I told her about an issue I am having where calls coming in while I am on the other line are telling people my number is disconnected. She looked at a couple of things on my phone and told me I needed to call the ATT help desk and that I would need to wait at least an hour before I talked to a person. She clearly didn't want to help me. Then I told her I needed a new iphone 15 for my son. She didn't let me know there were different versions. I was supposed to purchase the pro. I didn't realize it until the box was already open and saw that there were only 2 lenses on the back. She told me I would have to pay $55 to get the pro because she had already opened it. She asked if I had WiFi at home. When I told her yes she said "then you can go set the rest up at home". I told her I was not comfortable doing this and asked if she could please help. It was obvious that she didn't want to. We ran into an issue with transferring the cloud data over. She said I would have to call the cloud to resolve it because they weren't part of ATT. I kept saying that didn't sound right. We could clearly see that he had backed his phone up on the cloud (we have a family plan). She argued that it wasn't an automatic backup, that you have to manually set it up and that we must not have done this because nothing transferred over. This was despite the fact I found on my file that it showed a file size to transfer. She then started talking very slow to me (as if I had a learning disability) and kept saying it was like buying a car and someone makes different parts that you would have to go somewhere else to fix it. It was extremely humiliating. She obviously didn't want to help me and kept trying to get rid of me. I asked if I could speak to someone else to help me. She rolled her eyes at me and told me that she had been doing this over 10 years and that I just had to call the Cloud. I had to ask again for someone to help me. That's when Leslie walked by and said she would come help. Leslie figured out that we were using my son's iPad cloud id and not the phone one. Leslie took the time to get it all figured out and properly transferred. read more

The first review I've ever done and honestly well deserved. Bradley or Brad is the man to go to. I can't stress enough how great his customer service is. He helped with everything I needed and then some. He was respectful, patient, and knew everything there is to know about anything. If there was something he didn't know he found out for me within 2 minutes. He got my wife and I set up with 2 new phones, cases, and chargers all within 15mins with great plans and great information about everything there is to know about the phones and their plans. If I ever need anything form AT&T he will be the only person I go to and if he's not there I'll come back at another time. read more

The customer service here is awful. I had to wait 30 minutes on my day off to speak to a manager about getting added as an authorized user to my account...just for him to not even be able to help me. You're better off going to a different location, trust me. This is always the most incompetent store. I called ahead to see if a product was available and the lady that answered confirmed it was. I drove 30 minutes for a product that the salesman said was not available. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience here. Went to this specific store ready to buy brand new wireless plan with 2 brand new phones and the female manager with glasses wanted nothing to do with us. She was very rude, kept walking off and gossiping with co-workers while I needed help so I had to keep grabbing her to come to me. We were trying to open an account but she seemed more interested in her rodeo plans than she was helping even the slightest. I would suggest anyone to go to the store off of pearland parkway before going back into this store. At least at the pearland parkway store they were willing to help and if they couldn't they found out who we needed to talk to. It is absolutely pathetic that a corporate AT&T store had horrendous management will the non corporate store was better. These people kept me on hold on the phone for 25 minutes with no intention of ever coming back. I know this because I was still on hold when I arrived at the store. The MANAGER was so rude to me. When I told him that I had been on hold for 25 minutes and asked do they ever answer their phones he yelled at me. He yelled at me that they have been busy. I actually want to give 0 star, but there's no option for that. My husband ordered 2 iPhone 11 online in this store, but an hour later he got a notification that the order has been canceled without any reason. So he called the store and asked why, the lady who answered the phone did not explain anything, she just asked us to come to the store. Ok, so we went to the store, it was raining and cold outside. After we arrived there, one guy told us that he's the one who canceled the order because they didn't have any stock. I totally understand that part, but why didn't tell us in the phone? Or at least try to figure out what's going on before ask us to come to the store. read more

Aside from my issues with AT&T as a service, this brick and mortar has some really nice people working there that usually take of our issues really fast. It can get pretty busy at peak hours so there might be a bit of a wait but I don't think I've ever had to wait longer than 15-20 mins for help. In the store, there are 10-12 little help/checkout stations, an Apple section, and a bunch of crappier phones and tablets. They also have a few big TVs in the back that play football games, which make your Saturday or Sunday waiting a little less painful. read more

Customer service here SUCKS. They have a ridiculous queue system. I walked in, looked around, and headed to the counter with 3 employees behind it. After waiting a few minutes with not a single person acknowledging me, I wandered around and grabbed someone, who told me I needed to "sign in". They have a person at the entrance entering people into a waiting list, except they weren't AT the entrance. So I ended up BEHIND a couple of people in the queue even though they arrived after I did. There were more employees in the store than customers, but the employees just seemed to wander around not helping anyone, and having BS conversations with each other and customers. I have no idea when they decide to actually start doing something useful. After checking in, I stood there for 45 minutes and then walked out. WORST CELL PHONE STORE EVER! read more

Horrible service! If they know they are not going to make much commission from you, be prepared to wait long and receive a nasty service or non at all but a handed down brochure to read at.. I came to the damn business to inquire more specific information about services or more, not something I found online. I avoid going here at all costs and drive 20miles inside the loop to receive a better service. AT&T shut this branch down, your losing so much clients because of this branch. Issue started in Jan 14,2015: Brian was the rep provided to me, I asked if I was eligible for a phone upgrade but was told to text a number (my phone was not working), how can I? He finally dawdled on his iPad and asked me to wait. 10-15min of waiting he (Brian) was going home and had to wait longer until someone helped me out. Thanks to Adrian, who acknowledge that I had been waiting provided some assistance. All I needed was a simple question of upgrade eligibility. Stay away if you are a loyal AT&T user. read more

Got a new iphone 5s and the customer service was great and the sales associate that helped me was Jenny. She was friendly and very helpful. Turns out that there was something wrong with my screen so i went back and asked to see if there was something wrong and there was. Jenny said that she would do a courtesy exchange for me because i had just gotten it, but they were out of iphone 5s so i had to come back another time and exchange it. When i went back to get the exchange i was unable to exchange it because they told me that there was nothing wrong with the phone. I was promised a new iphone 5s and i did not receive one. read more

When I arrived at the store, I waited maybe two minutes and was assisted in signing in to be placed in line. While I was waiting I decided to look around and ended up at the cases. I thought it was going to take a lot longer, but I didn't even finish looking through all of the phone cases and it was my turn already! Raul Rodriguez was the associate who assisted me (I will purposefully look for him next time I go). He was very friendly and helpful. He was organized and was able to look up my account quickly to answer a few questions I had regarding my "Next" plan. He was very informative about what my options were to get the new iPhone 7 Plus I have been excited to get every since it was released lol I was able to pay what I owed on the current phone, keep it, and get the new one with only a $4 increase on my bill...and of course payed the taxes up front on the new phone. The transactions were seamless and fast! All in all, I am extremely pleased with the service!!! I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes and that is unheard of. I would definitely recommend this store and will be returning there for future purchases. read more

She wasnt helpful at all and treated me like a criminal. Jaime the store manager refused to talk to me and at one point when he approached me got very aggressive. The customer service rep waiting on me was no help. I told him my phone was not sending text messages and all he did was shake his head and offer to sell me a new SIM card. Basically, he hunched his shoulders and said he didn't think it could be fixed. He didn't ask for my phone version, he didn't look at my phone, or try to look up anything or ask his colleagues. I was skeptical upon entering this location because of the reviews. But Mack and Duewey are AMAZING. Funny, helpful, and very attentive. There was a frantic customer in at the time and they handled it very well. ( Better than I could have). Those guys don't get paid enough for what they deal with. AT&T's customer service has always been bad but normally that was primarily been limited to their call-in customer service. I checked in at the ATT store in Pearland and clearly told the person checking me in that my son broke his phone, I have insurance on my plan and need a replacement. I waited 45 minutes to see a lady that told me I had to call customer service and file a claim. I asked her why the person checking me in didn't tell me that. She then had the nerve to say maybe he thought you wanted an upgrade that is what I would have thought. I could not believe she said that. I asked her then why was the first thing you said when I explained it was I had to file a claim through customer service. She just sat there with a blank stupid stare for about a minute trying to think of an answer. I finally said I think the answer you are trying to find is because I am a liar. I am dumping these fools. Not only are they the most expensive (check on-line rate comparisons) but they obviously don't care about your business. AT&T internet service is horrible. The signal is horrible. The automated system to report issues is horrible. With Pearland having like one bar of cellular service, if your WIFI is down, it's like you're caught in the 1970's. Dial Up Modems were faster than our DSL POS system. If there was another option in this area, I'd say they were in breach of contract and would switch in a millisecond. I cannot even believe a business survives with this standard of service. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. After a long wait our "salesman", Mack, asked my wife for the PIN number to her account. When she said she didn't know her PIN number (because she hadn't set it up yet) he sighed and acted like it was such a hardship to get her account information. When we asked him to compare our discounts because we wanted to keep whichever one got us a better deal he said "well since your wife can't even remember her PIN number let me do this first". After he had insulted my wife, I asked for a new salesman and the "floor manager" decided the best way to remedy the situation was to put us back at the bottom of the wait list. Another 45 minute wait, great idea! These people don't care about their customers and are totally incompetent. We will never go back. read more

The sold my father-in-law a service which they are not able or willing to install. Got a nice deal on high speed fiber-optic Uverse Internet and U300 TV on Jul-28. Had 6 appointments scheduled since then. The techs showed up twice and on the other four appointments no one called or showed up. The two techs each had a problem with the in-ground outside fiber box for which they had to call a line man. The second tech also said they were having problems getting DVR's but would substitute a receiver for a DVR and give us a DVR whenever they came in. Fine with us except he couldn't leave any equipment because he needed a lineman to finish the install. He ran fiber in the attic and left it hanging out the living room wall. They now say they can't finish the install because they don't have DVR's. Went to store twice and was told they are still selling the service because they are substituting the receiver for the DVR until DVR's come in. 2nd time at store they called customer service and after a lengthy conversation they set up another appt. for Aug-17. No show again. I called and this time they said the local dispatch would not send a technician until the DVR's came in. They don't know when the DVR's will be in. Substitution of receiver for DVR is up to local dispatch and they refuse to substitute even though the store says they will. They shouldn't be selling this service until they can fulfill the contract. The store shouldn't be promising temporary substitution of receiver for DVR if dispatch won't implement it. I am beyond disgusted. Each appointment wastes 4 hours of your time plus hours on the phone with "customer service". Even going into the store didn't help as the service rep had his phone on speaker and he got fed the same line of bs as the customers do with the eventual "appointment" made just to get rid of you. I finally got some truth today from the customer rep who sounded a lot more American than the others. I do thank her for that. read more

I honestly cannot believe that I am giving AT&T a five star rating, but I have no choice. It is all because this particular store has a gentleman named Hector Romero that really jumped through fiery hoops today to help me out. I had a serious dilemma I was facing with transferring my service due to a recent move. Long story short, I made a huge error when I submitted my initial request. I did not know there was an error. Hector not only found the error with his impeccable diligence, but saved me a ton of time and headache by resolving it. He was not simply trying to up sell me (he did politley offer some other services in a very professional manner) or get me out the door because I was a pain in the neck customer. He rolled up his sleeves and dug in to make sure I was taken care of as a customer. He also made it a distinct point to get to know me personally and focus on making sure I was happy. I had called AT&T a few days before and received the absolute worst customer service imaginable. Hector turned it around 180 degrees. I am not giving AT&T a five star rating. I am giving Hector and the staff at their Pearland location a five star rating. They are a great group of friendly folks at this location and I am glad they are only a five minute drive for me. If Hector worked for me I would certainly find ways to promote him and keep him on my team! I am certainly keeping his business card in my wallet. read more

I have had bad service here before but today took the cake. We went in to make sure we were handling our trade in correctly and wanted the advice of a sales person. We recently upgraded to the 7 and had to send our 6's back but wanted to see if we could just turn them into the store instead. We were given to Daniel to assist us. He not only was the most unhelpful person, he was so incredibly rude and made us feel so embarrassed. After having to explain again what we were wanting to do he told us to "listen with our ears" and made us feel stupid. All we wanted to know is if we could have the store send our phones back or if we had to send them back ourselves. Yes, we easily can go to the PO but needed to go into the store anyway so we wanted to see. After Daniel treated us the way he did, we asked to speak to the manager. He still was rude and mumbled under his breath as he walked away. It was ridiculous the way we were treated. Not professional at all. The manager came out and spoke with us and quickly explained what needed to be done. Why couldn't Daniel have done this? Instead, Daniel told us we were going to be "screwed" out of our $650 trade in if we mailed it back. What? Daniel obviously had no idea what he was talking about, he apparently was upset he had to work today, and/or just completely woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Either way, it was extremely unprofessional of him to treat anyone that way in front of the entire store. He most certainly did not care who heard him because co workers did not even bat an eye. Sounds to me like we were not the only ones he has done this to. Sad that people are now "used" to this behavior and/or just don't care about customer service anymore. read more
