I have been with Sprint for the past 5 years now and there customer service has been on the decline. I have been feeling very disrespected by there staff and have been searching around for a different provider. I went into Verizon and they were good for the most part. I then went into the Redlands At&t and was helped by Durey. Durey explained to me what At&t could do for me that Sprint and Verizon couldn't. I was sold right away and made the switch. I liked the fact that Durey took his time with me and had an answer to every question I had. If Sprint trained there employees the way at&t did they wouldn't have lost a customer. But somethings happen for a reason and I am happy to be a customer with at&t. Thank you again for your services. read more

Are the att stores independently owned or part of att? I purchased a new phone a few months ago and Anthony told me that as part of a promotion, I could pick out $350 in free accessories. I was only allowed to get some fast chargers, cords, wireless chargers. He wouldn't let me get anything of any worth, but who cares, it was free right? WRONG!!!!! On my next bill I see a $28 installment charge for ACCESSORIES! Lets do some math, 28 x 12= $336, total of what I ended up getting!!!!! That SOB ended up charging me for all the f***ing chargers!!!!! They also added the insurance on the phone, insurance support service and Next up, all WITHOUT telling me. I thought if they didn't ask me about it, they wouldn't just add it, WRONG AGAIN!!! I have gone back 4 times already to try and fix this and each time the manager tells me the same s**t, that he will fix it and it never gets fixed. I went here bc customer service directed me to after they couldn't resolve my issue. First, I stood around for 10 minutes before I was even checked in, and I had to ask to be checked in. After waiting over 30 minutes to be helped the woman who helped me resolved my issue, but not without it taking 45 minutes. I told her i was there bc customer service told me it was a SIM issue. Instead, she still called them and troubleshot eveything i had already done. She barely spoke to me, i even had to ask her what she was doing bc of the 10 minute silent period. After 20 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be-and she was silent. It was a SIM issue (which I had said in the first place). All said and done it took and hour and 15 minutes. Wow. read more

For starters, I have been an AT&T customer since Cingular was around. I've never ever ever ever considered switching carriers because AT&T has proved to have service throughout remote areas in the country and even remote areas overseas. I've always received excellent customer service at the SAN BERNARDINO (el camino st) location. But last night was my lucky night, and I had to go to the Redlands store..... I arrived at the store around 8 pm from the San Bernardino location because the San Bernardino location said that this store would have ONE phone left in stock (the phone that my sister wanted). When I arrived, I was greeted by no one, that's fine they were "busy". However it took about 5 minutes of me standing around before a rep, I want to say her name is JUSTINE approached me and said this "There are 7 people in front of you and once it hits 9 o'clock there are no gaurantees that we will be able to go into your account to upgrade your phone, and there are ONLY three of us." Ok, so? All I heard coming out of her mouth was "please leave I want to get out of here on time." Maybe she shouldn't be working at a busy retail store if she can't handle the pressures of serving people who walk through the door REGARDLESS of time. Or maybe she was rotated to this busy store as punishment, who knows. So the hour passed by quickly and the clock struck 9. There were still about 4 people in front of me, so I figured if they can help them, they would be able to help me. Last night was the ONLY night my sister and I could come to the store TOGETHER for it was her birthday and she wanted to pick out a new phone. Around 930, JUSTINE, comes to our table, displeased that we watied that long probably, and asked us what phone we wanted. Oh, she still hasn't introduced herself, and her hair conveniently covers her name tag so that I couldn't see her name. We told her about the phone, when she looked it up she said this "that phone is sold out in 23 stores from here to Anaheim, and they discontinued that phone". OKAY. So why did the customer service rep at San Bernardino tell me that there are ONE in stock at the REDLANDS location and SIX in Fontana???? Anyways, she went to the back to "check" again, and to no avail. So then my sister picked out another phone guaranteed to be in stock. JUSTINE? Came back out with the phone. I made it VERY CLEAR to her that I wanted to use the upgrade from ANOTHER PHONE LINE to upgrade my sister's phone because her's was on a 2 year contract still. She said ok, no problem we'll just do an upgrade switch. Customers are walking out and since the door was locked reps had to unlock and escourt them out. I'm really not sure WHY? but JUSTINE left our table to walk some people out (even though there were 2 other reps there walking them out) to which end I Saw her hand the brand new phone box to another rep. Once she returned, and the rep returned the phone to her, she then called over Jill, she told Jill to take care of the transaction so she can get a "head start" on closing. It being already 9:30, I did not stop to think or question wheather or not JUSTINE had told Jill that there would be an upgrade switch. Once I signed the contract via iPad twice and swiped my card. I was basically pushed out the door, she didn't even want to help my sister set up the phone. I thought how unusual, I go to the AT&T store about 3x per a year, and I always leave with documents explaining each line item I expect to see on my next bill, the service rep sets up the phone for me, oh and they also put everythign in a bag? We left the store it was a few minutes before 10 pm. I gave Jill the benefit of the doubt that everything I thought would happen would happen. About 1030, I decided to send a "test" text message to my sister's new phone (her old phone is a iphone 5C btw so I can see if it's still iMessage). Just as I had suspected, no changes were made to her old phone the 5C which should have been discarded all together. INSTEAD, they took the upgrade phone number and placed it in the NEW PHONE that my sister was supposed to have. Which left my other sister (the one whose upgrade I swapped) with a piece of brick that doesn't work, and the other sister, the one whose birthday it was, with TWO PHONES. Of course customer service was already closed and I had to painstakingly wait until the morning when they re-opened. I called right away at 7 am this morning and the rep told me that I had to go in with both devices and have them fix the mistake there. GREAT, I THOUGHT. Now my sisters have to go all day without their phones, they are both in college, and I'm sure all you people know that everybody pretty much relies on their phone for everything these days. NOPE. INSTEAD I had to bring two devices into the store during my LUNCH hour to get it fixed. I had to call 611 AGAIN to get an appointment at this store because after calling the store for half hour straight since they opened NOBODY picked up, ever. read more

You know. Sometimes you might wonder what is the perk of going to the At&t store and you might find that is not that much compare to the kiosk at the mall or The apple store. It is convenient to see and touch all the phones they have, but at the end if you know what you want. Then what's the point. One of the stars goes to me saving time by not having to go to the apple store. Second Star goes to me getting what i needed right there and there. & the 3rd goes to Dominick syncing my phone for me. I thought they had a faster way but hey, he still did it. cool deal for me. Clean Store, good selection of phones. They can order an Ipad for you. and close to a couple of food stores in case they need to sync your phone and you get hungry. lol :-) read more

I have never experienced so much frustration, lies, false advertising and poor customer service than with AT&T!!! I am not sure what happened to the days when it was important to take care of your customers but after dealing with an issue re: port credits for 7 months, AT&T has not resolved this. How is it that you can walk into a corporate store and have an employee sell you a host of promotional items that but when it comes time for the credits to kick in, everyone diverts to other departments, decides to change the rules on you, or just flat up hangs up on you? I have the name of the lady at the Redlands, CA corporate store who sold me (or really lied to me) about these great "offers" AT&T was running - and I signed on; with three phones. Added a new Direct TV account, bought three new smart phones with the Next plan, and was supposed to receive $300 port credit per line. This was what was sold to me .... yet, 7 months later, I have nothing for port credits. Zero. And zero customer service. This process of selling at any cost and passing the buck up the "corporate" ladder is disrespectable and appalling that customers are treated this way. I was never treated this way at T-Mobile. Never. Not that any of the cell providers are great - at least I didn't feel like I was cheated and stolen from! I would like to tell you why I think AT&T sucks. I have been with AT&T for a few years, mainly so I could have an IPhone prior to the other phone companies having them. So I have an unlimited data plan on two smart phones. Well today I get a text saying that I'm close to using 5GB of data and I may have my connection speed reduced. WTF that's not unlimited, I think I'm done with AT&T and I'll be going back to Verizon very soon. I would have given no stars by yelp gives no choice for that. read more

Everything was going great, then my salesman had to end his shift. The saleswoman I dealt with was polite, but until I got home, I didn't realize the transfer of all my pictures from the old phone to the SD card was unsuccessful. She lost 90% of years of pictures. Very bad experience. 1. They kept you wait forever. 2. They tried so hard to sell you everything. I got a phone protection plan which I told them nonono. I was lucky to find this when check online. 3. They charged $25 for an online order pick-up. I don't know if this is true because when I called 611, the representative told me it should be free. I went in today to add a new line to family plan. I was told even tho i am an authorized user and i have the online account login I can not open a line unless i am the main account holder. Then the sales guy tried to talk me into open another account. While he was pushing me into opening a new account and paying $70 extra a month. I logged onto the At&t website on my phone,added a new line and selected the devices i wanted and selected this location as my pick up location all with in 5 mins and FREE. I told the sales guy I think about it and i'll come back later. 2 hours later I got a text saying my device was ready and i went back to the store. The sales guy actually remembered me and I told him I'm just here to pick up my phone. Ge gave me this look of pure disgust and waved me off and muttered something. this by far is the worst AT&T store I have ever used. Personally I have never had to deal with such rude and unprofessional people or services before. I placed an order for a phone and when the phone arrived I realized I placed the incorrect order at&t has a standing policy of a 14 day return with a $55 fee which is no problem as long as the issue is corrected. When I went to the store I had I explained the issue and told them i'd like order the correct phone with this being said they not only place a fraud alert on my account but proceeded to tell me my issue did not matter. How can you tell your paying customer that their issue does not matter especially when I am paying over $1000 for a phone. Their only response to why they couldn't do my return was that they couldn't do anything on their end and told me they could charge me a total of 3 different times to fix it but still did not help me in the end. How does that seem right to any customer? Each person I talked to there was extremely rude and did not want to answer any of my questions. I will never be going back to this store. read more

I am so happy to write this review and acknowledge the great service I received from Kathryn. I had been dreading talking to AT&T. I need to go over my bill and I wanted to get a new phone. Kathryn helped me. First she remembered me from 2 years prior. Then after talking about my options, she worked with me to save a lot of money on my monthly bill. And even when I asked her for help with the other phones on my account and how to switch phone numbers, she took care of it. She really went out of her way to take care of me. And I have to add that she was so polite and caring! read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. In February I went to upgrade my phone, I was told that if I upgraded added a line and direct TV as well I would be getting a discounted price due to the promotion, I thought cool. The customer service girl told me I would pay around 160 for 3 lines and TV. I couldn't be olive it thought it was so cheap asked her over and over again if I understood it correct. She assured me I did. That was over a 100$ difference for what Inwas paying prior. I was so stoked. Well a month goes by after doing this and I get a bill from AT&T stating that I owe 330$. I thought maybe because upgrade fees or something it would need to get to the next billing cycle, 2 days later same billing cycle I get a bill in the mail for 80$ for Direct tv, under someone else's name my address. Kinda shady. Was told that sometimes that can be a glitch but no worries. Regardless that wasn't near the price I was quoted. I called customer care 2 times. Couldn't get help told me I needed to go to the store that helped me . I go into The store, the associate was very young didn't get his name but helped me out took my ID information, changed some things to try and link the bills and said he did all that he could do with out a manger but that he would text me once his manager is in... waited 5 days never got a text. I went back in, asked for a manger the lady took down my information and said the rep that helped you would be in later she will get that fixed and have it fixed for you by the end of the day, assured me I didn't need to come back. Went in a month later, because no one could fix this situation and another associate said that they would take notes and that the person who made the mistake in the first place needed to be there to fix it and she was out of town. Again no manager. At this point I'm three months in probably 4 visits and they NEVER answer a phone when calling the store. No one could tell me where their manager was. Went in again in April. Talked to a man that was helpful apologized for everything text his manager for me credits on my account and I wish I would have gotten his name because he was very very kind and helpful i thought sweet it's fixed. Well come this month my direct tv bill was 90 $ & my phones again were 300! Out of control! Went in explained again tried to keep it professional talked to a guy who speaks very loudly and has absolutely the worst costumer service skills but again listened took down my info told me he could only do what He could do with out a manger. EVERYTIME A MANGER WAS NEVER THERE!!!! He told me that the associate that helped me was Olivia, at least that was helpful. Well he didn't do anything nothing got accomplished after that trip to AT&T. So I went back 2 weeks later. He was the one who treated me I asked for a manger he said the manager wasn't in, I asked again when they would be in. He got really pushy and mouthy and was very disrespectful the costumers were looking at us while we had the conversation. He asked what he could help with I said everyone in this store including you has tried to help me no one can seem to help.. his response was I can't control What my manager does, Olivia needs to be the one to fix it and I can't do anything for you. I asked what am I supposed to do come back again he said I guess if there's anything that can even be done at this point. Their customer service was excellent. When I need to upgrade or anything else I will go to that store,even though its a little distance away from where I live. Up in Big Bear on a Sunday morning when some punks stole my phone. A ATT company store was down at the bottom of the mountain so raced down and got there about 1030 am. Store was a bit crowded but an sales associate heard my problem and got right on it, Katheryn was awesome helped me kill my stolen phone ,get a new iPhone 6 and save me a 100$ on my account which also runs my iPad ,I was back at the cabin in big bear by 1 pm,, the thieves contacted my wife's phone asking for money to return my stolen LOCKED phone, told them to us it as a paper weight. Visited the AT&T store today under dreadful conditions... my iPhone 6 crashed after it hit the tile. After calling and talking with Kathryn, and her patience in teaching me how to backup the info on my broken phone, I set an appointment with her to get a new IPhone 7 Plus. My experience was phenomenal! I was assisted by Kathryn (the great), Nira and Allie. Trust me, I was ready to transfer to a new provider after my contact with corporate the night before...so happy that I didn't. Stay away from this store because a certain sales associate scammed us and screwed up our account and it is literally way too confusing to explain. This associate should be fired for not only lying about how we can use an att tv product that we cant even use but pretty much giving a NEW iphone to us and we are repaying on an old phone that has a new line which we never asked for. Heres the kicker and which angered me the most. I asked if the company i worked for has a discount and the associate said they would add it and they gave me a MILITARY discount and I WAS NEVER A MEMBER OF THE MILITARY. I went to the highland ATT store and they took that discount off but could not figure out the confusing situation with att tv. Worst customer service ever!!!! Went in to the Redlands site due to my order being shipped there. First off they all scouted through the window to see who was there next victim, which was hella rude. Finally got Ashley to help me who I thought was going to get me in and out. Boy was I wrong. She goes in back to retrieve my order and finds that she has put in the wrong pin code not once , but 3 times. And got my order locked. Then proceeds to tell me she has to run my credit again. After locking it again. She had the nerves to ask if she could run it a 3rd time. After her manager Herman heard the commotion , he decides to come over to assist and say " it was your choice to run it again, should have had it mailed to house". I am so disgusted with their service I will not ever buy anything from you. Not even the 4 lines and phones I was purchasing cash. I hope you don't treat your mother like this either. Well I feel I really needed to let people know about this place , me and my wife went in to get cable and cell phone service , first they said I didn't qualify and then they ran my wife's info , we got cable TV and WiFi, to find out later on that there were bussiness cell phones pulled out from my name and an opened account from someone there that lives in Riverside and using my information that was only given to them , we called att and they informed us that we needed to go to the store and they will deal with it , so me and my wife go speak with management and the lady manager comes out with her laptop , does something in the laptop and session it's all taken care of , but there still trying to bill me for service and my Samsung Galaxy 7 cell phone and never questioned who we spoke to or requested a report regarding this ? Hmm mm crazy right , my question is are they all in cohorts with this .? read more

My daughter made an appointment for service and upon entering the store at the appointed time was promptly told what she and her husband wished to accomplish could be done by phone and was dismissed. With a few questions from me, we were again dismissed and told to make the changes via phone and then return. We stepped outside and her husband began calling. After two failed attempts we approached Leslie, an employee stationed outside the door, who was apologetic and began trying to assist. She too met the same phone problems we had except was told on by the tech on the phone this needed to be done in-store. Hmmm. Leslie took us back in, introduced us to Jose and 20 minutes later, mission accomplished. Shame on the manager who was the first person we dealt with. Was our transaction not worthy of your time as there may not have been an equipment sale involved? Five stars for Leslie and Jose. Zero for our first guy in the blue sweatshirt. This would have been a five star day if Leslie or Jose had been our first encounter. read more
