This has always been my "go to" store where I knew I would be able to resolve any questions with my account as well as most minor issues with my cellphone. Was always met with a courteous, friendly technician with a smile. That was so nice. I haven't been to the Fair Oaks Blvd store for about 6 months, but did go in with a question regarding my phone service today and what a disappointment!! No friendly greeting, no smiles. All the two technicians wanted to do was sell me things I didn't want or need. They obviously had no interest at all in hearing my question or helping me to resolve it. I said to them that the store had really changed and they said "yes" that all they do now is SALES. No other help at all. Said anything else has to be handled by a phone call to AT&T itself. With that kind of treatment, I'll be the last person to purchase anything from that store. read more

On March 6, 2026, I went to pay my phone bill, and their kiosk was out of order, exactly as 3-4-7 months ago. And this time, AGAIN, I had to wait there for over half of hour just to pay my bill!! All of their clerks on the floor - which are constantly changing (NOT a good sign of any employer!) - were busy selling their plans and devices, while I was worried about a ticket on my car outside: parking limit was only 15 min. When some young, tall man with curly dark hair was done selling, at last, he agreed to take my $85, while in a great and obvious distress, and walked away from me while I was still talking to him. read more

To be quite honest, I usually dont have the best experiences with AT&T. However, Angel (badge number: 6022309) is THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKER I have ever been on the phone with... EVER. He was so kind, patient, and understanding: you can tell he really wants the best for his customers. He is also a customer so he really understands our frustrations, and found the best deals for us, and saved us LOTS of money. I can not thank him enough and am very fortunate he was the one helping me. For now on, I know who to ask for when I am calling customer service. :). read more

I don't know man.. used to be a good experience going here but the last few times it's felt like they just want to get me out of the store as fast as possible. And this has been on multiple occasions when the store isn't very busy. I will say the websites/phone numbers I was given to go to where I could answers to what I needed were indeed helpful (hence three stars), but when I asked if they could be written down you would think I asked if they could build me a temple. I went to this AT&T direct owned store for a new SIM card. My phone displayed "SIM card failed" on the screen every few days and I have to reboot the phone in order to use my phone every time when it happens! The employees here at the store are excellent. I have a nice greeting as soon as I walked into the store. After the gentleman confirmed the reason I came visiting the store. He help me immediately and I have a new SIM programs for my phone and installed in my phone in less than 10 minutes. Excellent service! Two thumbs up! The location of the store is very convenient and a lot of parking spaces available in front of the store. The only thing I have to say is nothing to do with the store. I have a very good experience there. I'm in and out of the store in 15 minutes. But I spend more time to do the research at the AT&T website to located a AT&T direct owned store closed to me. It wasted me more than half hour and found out many people are also run into the same problem! The website doesn't tell you which one is the AT&T direct owned store and which one is the AT&T authorized cellar phone retailer. It all listed as AT&T Store!!!! Yesterday I went into get a SIM card for a number I just had transferred to my account. The liaison at the front of the store was courteous and friendly. He assigned me to another guy who appeared to be less than interested in helping me. This guy walked away from me like 3 times during the process of figuring out that the number hadn't officially been transferred yet. I kept having to raise my hand like I was in a class room to get help. Bless the liaison's heart. I'm sure his job is to stay at the front of the store and assign customers to employees but he stepped away and helped me every time. So after we established that I needed to give the transfer more time to process, both men assured me I could call tmw morning and check if it was in my name before I came back in for a SIM card (I'm uncomfortably 8 months pregnant, and trying to limit my public exposure). I said great! Thanked them and left. This morning I call the store. I obviously have no idea who I'm speaking to, but I explain that I'm checking if a transfer of responsibility was complete before I came back to the store etc.... this dude was SO unhelpful, clearly not listening to what I was trying to accomplish and being less than courteous. I'm frustrated! I had 2 ppl tell me I could do this before I came back in so I didn't waste my time. For clarity I am already an establish ATT customer with an existing number, (adding a second number on) so there's no reason they couldn't access my account to check if the transfer was complete. I visited this location due to having a malfunctioning phone that I bought less than a month ago. The staff, namely Swarna and Jerry Gonzalez, were extremely unhelpful. They advised me they don't have my phone in stock and provided limited options on what could be done regarding replacing my phone in a timely manner. After leaving the store, I remembered that I didn't get the names of the people who "assisted me" and called to obtain those names. I spoke with Jerry who stated that he's the store manager. He was again completely indifferent about the hassle this has caused me and stated that it's 'not their problem' when I advised him how inconvenient and time consuming their phone replacement process has been. I asked to speak with his manager and he claimed he didn't have one and hung up the phone. I called back and advised him that I would give him one more opportunity to handle this situation professionally at which time he hung up on me again. It seems clear that Mr. Gonzalez is unable and/or unwilling to represent himself and the organization he works for professionally and his unprofessional behavior is a silly reason to drive customers away. This experience has soured me on ATT's brand and it's unlikely that I'll use any of their products going forward. read more

I've been meaning to write a review, but keep forgetting. I went in to add my husband to my plan and get him a new phone. This was about a month ago. The working helping us was in a hurry and his co workers even took his lunch order while he was helping us. I didn't think much of it, until we got home and tried to use the new phone. It wasn't activated and we had no idea how to activate it. I realized the worker was in such a hurry he didn't even finish his job with us. It was very frustrating. Luckily a friend use to work for T-Mobile and knew how to activate phones. She was able to help us activate it after hours and hours of no phone and no luck. read more

So this morning my husband and I went to this store re some issues we were having with our internet. To be honest we were not looking forward to this adventure anticipating long wait times and assistants that may or may not be able to address our problem. We couldn't have been more wrong! We received immediate attention by the store manager, Jon, who thoroughly understood our situation and then directed us to another excellent person, Richard, who proceeded to solve our problem! We received uninterrupted attention, all of our questions were thoroughly answered and we left the store so thankful and so very, very impressed! Our thanks to these wonderful people! I ordered my phone on January 24th...They cant find it, they want me to call their currier service and try to find it. I tried. I get No where. So, backup a few weeks and you'll see I ordered a phone from a gentlemen at the at&t store. Really he didn't mess up as far I am concerned, AT&T did. They tried to deliver but no one was home. My bad, I didnr realize i had to be home. Ok, now a stay home from work. wait for the guy. He never shows. says he couldent get through the gate. Sweeet, let try again. Take some more time from work. He never shows. says he also, could not get through. (Amazon is here daily) Deliver straight to my office you cant miss me!!! Never shows. Could not find the office. Now I start calling AT&T.... I have literally spent 3 full workdays on the phone with them. the hours spent on hold, speaking to 10 different people, telling the story and order number to them all. They get confused, they are hesitant to get a supervisor, even the supervisor doesnt know what to do, so they HANG UP. "He will call back and someone else will figure it out" They have hung up at the Supervisory level twice.. Lets see when I get my phone... *Update They lied to my mother. Ouch. (They said something was messed up in the order process) Nothing was messed up in the order process. They failed to get it here the first few times so the carrier stopped trying to deliver it. Then the carrier holds it for a bit waiting for either ME or at&t to call and say hey, try again or send it back. Keep in mind it took AT&T 3 days to figure this out. then they told me to call the currier. The currier was closed. My mom called and tried, For HOURS AND HOURS and they made up some story that something was messed up in the ordering process so thats why the phone was never shipped. Really AT&T? The phone you tried to order was at the currier. I talked to them. So they will send a new phone over they say. Im like sweet! i should have a phone tomorrow.... Nope. She made the whole trade in process a breeze & helped me transfer everything over to my new phone at the store to make sure it was successful. We had an appointment and wandered around the store for thirty minutes before anyone helped us or even spoke to us. If you have an appointment time, they won't respect it. Went into AT&T looking to upgrade and was helped by Kai. This dude was on his game!! He got me hooked up with the iPhone 13, it was shipped in 2 days (like he said it would). When i walked in after getting the phone shipped, he was there & got me hooked up with all the accessories i needed on top of a smooth transfer of my old phone to new one! Ive been into many different AT&Ts but this time was by far the most smoothest experience I've had there. Worst service ever! I been a customer for over 15 years but T-Mobile offered me an iPhone 13 for each one of my phones in my account (3) if I moved to their service, I called and a lady in customer retention convinced me to stay and they were supposed to deliver my new Phone 13 ProMax to my house and help me transfer my phone info into the new one, they made an appointment for 3 days later between 6pm and 8pm. Today a guy named Derrick showed up at 7:45pm and as soon as I open the door his first words were "It's been a long day and I'm running late, can I just hand you the phone" I said no, I made and appointment because I have had so many problems transferring my info in to new phones in the past, he came into my house and started the process, first he had the wrong phone so he had to go back to his car, then he said I had to cancel my order and start from scratch and he did not seem to know what he was doing and come to find out he is not even from ATT he is from a 3rd party company. To make a long story short he left at 8:10pm because he said he does not get overtime and that since he had canceled my order I needed to call and start a new order. I called and of course they are closed. After over 15 years I think is time to change companies to someone who can get better customer service. read more

This is the only AT&T store I will ever go to in the Sacramento area, but its only because Krishan works there. Typically its such a tedious process to purchase a phone, but he made it so smooth and was very patient to handle all of my needs. Two months later my phone was stolen, i walked into the store at 10 AM . A different gentleman helped me, who was not Krishan and advised me my name was spelled incorrectly in the AT&T system therefore i would have to seperately call AT&T before I could purchase a new phone. I recognized Krishan in the store, and advised him of the situation, as well as the difficulty his co-worker was giving me in purchasing a new phone. Not only did Krishan make sure I got a new phone that very day, he also called AT&T for me to correct the spelling of my name in their system. What a great employee, this man deserves a raise. I went to the AT&T store because I had to get my phone reactivated. The sales associate exchanged the case that AT&T sent me with my replacement phone as it was a mans leather billfold style case with a belt clip. He gave me the cheapest case they had and I was fine with that as I planned to purchase another otter box. The sales associate them went to the back to ask his manager, Jason Morlock, a question. When he returned he said he had to take the case that he had just put on my phone back. At this point I told him that I had been patronizing his company since it was SBC global and was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service I was getting. He said nothing to me so I asked him for the GMs name as we'll. I do not think it is right for a sales associate to give a customer an exchanged item, the phone case, and then swiftly take it back. He spoke to me with forked tongue. My advice to all yelpers....stand clear of AT&T. There you have it. I just wanted to share my experience I had with you as I believe that the customer service that AT&T provides to its clientele pales in caparisoned to verizon or any other cellular company for that matter. read more

Employees are so helpful. Came in and upgraded my father in law and mother in-laws cell phones. Got watches. Got service set up for their business and they were able to upgrade his house service and kept the price the same. The manager Gerardo was pleasant, helpful and he and the other employees walked my father in law through the whole process. I will recommend this store and these employees to anyone and everyone I know. And we will definitely be back for any AT&T needs that we have now and in the future. read more

OMG if your in the market for a new phone come in and see Monica she is the greatest, so knowledgeable and nice! She gives you unbiased info and knows everything about all the brands of phones. Ok I have been in phone stores before, lots of times and never have I seen the service and knowledge of a sales associate like Monica! I went in here with my friend who was looking at phones, not ready to buy mind you, just looking. Well she was so nice and told us both everything about the phones we were looking at. She was an avid iPhone fan but also had an Android phone that AT&T provided so she told us what she liked and disliked about them both and showed us the features and pretty much how to use the phone. She showed us the apps on her phone and some of the features when we asked questions. She mentioned the price guaranty and when my friend narrowed her selection down she looked it up in their online store to see if it was on sale, which is was so she said she would get that price which was 50% off the in store price. SCORE! Needless to say my friend ended up purchasing the phone and the sales process was smooth and fast. She transferred her info off her blackberry onto the new phone and took the time to point out all the hottest must have apps and showed her many of the features of the new phone. My husband is due for a new phone upgrade and I am sending him to her too. She made the process pleasant as well as fast and easy. You could not find a better sales associate ANYWHERE! read more

I walked in into this at&t around 5pm looking to upgrade my phone during the promotional deal. All associates were with a customer and I was next in line. After about 20 minutes a few customers tricked in. After about 30 minutes a few associates came out from the back. They were told by an associate on the floor I was next in line. They checked everyone in, somehow im checked in 5th in line. After about 40 minutes they begin helping people checked in and im left still waiting. After about 60 minutes I run out of time to wait and patience. I leave frustrated thinking i can try a different at&t store tomorrow. The next day they tell me the promotional deal has ended. read more

I just came in here for my biannual phone upgrade. This AT&T is pretty organized, you walk in and they have someone stationed at the door to sign you in and that's how you get into the queue. When I came in on Saturday at 2pm, I had about a 15-20 minute wait. It wasn't too bad, but earlier in the day I was told they had a list of 10+ customers walking in. They had at least 5-7 associates working with customers all over the store. Customer Service: My associate, I can't remember his name I think Dan, was polite, friendly and what I appreciated was that he wasn't TOO pushy. He had to sell on the various new AT&T plans and the "benefits", which I understood as a part of his job. I was pretty set on just paying my upgrade fee and not switching plans, so he gave me a run down and we went ahead. I overheard other sales associates, and if you have another associate your experience may be a bit different because they are more forward/pushy. Phone availability: I didn't have a problem getting a black 64GB iphone6. They don't have Iphone 6 plus right now, so you'd have to call ahead and see. Overall: smooth process and I was out of there in about an hour. They don't get 4 stars because there isn't anything SPECIAL / EXCELLENT that stood out. A-OK none the less! read more

The clerk was condescending as he spoke to us with disdain and dismissiveness. When he discovered I did not come prepared as to the type of phone I wanted, he was clearly peeved and put out. He did not explain the various phones or ask me about my phone needs, habits, usage, etc. - all things a good salesperson would ask to help a customer make the right selection. But the most incompetent and inept thing he did was put the wrong telephone number in my new phone rendering my husband's phone (whose number was now erroneously on my phone) useless. And we did not discover this horrendous and stupefying error until we were home. When we returned to the store, the languid and severe manager told us we would have to wait at the end of the line - to wait at the end of the que for someone to fix HIS mistake. They had no concern whatsoever that they had made such a stupid and, for us, extremely inconvenient and time-consuming mistake. The manager is on rote - all he can do is tell people to go to the end of the que, he does not take responsibility or ownership for his product, his people, or his customer. I would rather walk over hot coals than put a foot in this AT&T store again. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. I just called trying to purchase a phone for my mother and I got some very ignorant and quite ill-mannered people on the phone when I called. The first little boy that answered the phone couldn't really hear very well so I'm not sure why he even answered the phone. When I told him I wanted to purchase my mother a present for her birthday and purchase the phone outright he said what phone so I told him I don't know what phone yet and then he said what phone again and I said I thought you heard me when I said I don't know what phone yet. Basically, they don't allow anyone to purchase a gift for a family member or friend without billing that person's account which is very stupid. I asked for a supervisor. I then heard laughter and then the phone hung up. I called back and got some ignorant person by the name of Don who claims to be a manager and he claims I was being hostile and he hung up on me again. The third time I called I helped him understand what real hostility was because I wasn't being hostile the first and second time I was on the phone. I guess they would prefer if I come in there and go off in person because they can't hang up on me then. Ignorant little Fair Oaks boys are my favorite. See you soon. read more

Because of the 5G upgrade I was given a new phone. Had technical issue which couldn't be solved over the the phone so brought it in. Chris had to research because this is AT&T's free giveaway but he figured out how to reset it. Now working and all is well in my world. Have to call my elderly father twice a day who is in another city so being able to communicate with him is so important during these times of covid. Thanks! read more
