The employees and the managers all directly lied to me in my face multiple times. Full time scam artists. They do not disclose critical information regarding government, citi, state, and other fees associated with getting a business line with them at the point of contact. And then when you try to confront them about it they direct you to the "billing" department. Absolutely disgusted and appalled with my experience with them. They got our new phones and lines set up great, but the reason for the 1 star is because they did not disclose costs and charges to all the accessories they told us were "included." I had to go back to the store and ask for the receipt for our total amount because they did not even provide us with that. We ended up paying almost $300 for accessories that were apparently NOT INCLUDED with our phones... and we did not even need them!!! Wasted our money. very bad customer service, I visited twice and twice I came across an employee, Carlos, who knows nothing and does what he wants, I asked he to order a phone, 15+, he said that it would be $28 per month, although the price is on the Verizon official website 12$ a month, he replied that he had not heard of such a price, in the end he ordered it and said that I would receive an SMS on my phone in 2-3 days, on the 4th day there was no SMS and I decided to go find out where my phone was, I I arrived and again I got Carlos, he recognized me and asked that I had probably come for my 15+, I said yes, after that he brought out 15 pro and said that here is my phone number, I replied that I ordered 15+, he said that we we can do a cancellation but it will cost $50 I don't understand why I should pay for the stupidity of an employee who doesn't want to work, I could have been softer in my words and yes, you might think it doesn't happen to anyone, everyone makes mistakes, I agree, but after that I asked Carlos to order me 15 again +, he registered on his tablet and showed me that he was ordering 15 iPhones, not 15+, but just 15, I replied that this is not 15+, to which he replied that there is no promotion for 15+ now, what?!! This store is hit or miss. Unfortunate for me, too many misses. The staff turnover is outrageous. Never seen the same people twice working there. The first miss was a guy who over-sold me a phone and accessories. My receipt was almost non existent and I was unable to return anything. Verizon was unable to track the sale. That guy had to know what he was doing ... higher commission. Other times,in desperation, I go in and I am helped, sometimes friendly most times it seems I am in their way of doing WHAT? Their job? Today as soon as I was approached by a store employee I knew it wouldn't go well. He looked at me with utter disdain, walked very slowly to the front of the store and was irritated with me when I was trying to explain what was going on with my phone. (I say get a job that doesn't piss you off when you have to perform it for an aging white woman). Other Verizon sites have very helpful respectful staff. Avoid this location. read more

The worst part is I'm not even a customer, I wanted to become a Verizon customer. I own several businesses and before I switch all those businesses cross country I wanted to try it out on a personal level to see what the experience was going to be like for my people if they needed help or they new people who wanted to switch. Beware of the scams at this store .. there are multiple. Not sure if all sales reps there are dishonest or just some but I was lied to on multiple levels. There is an activation fee with the store and an additional Verizon activation fee of $35 per device .. was told there are no other fees with Verizon. Luckily Verizon credited me for 2 out of 4 fees. If you purchase screen / glass protectors there you'll pay way more and make sure you do not let them install them. I was charged and given the boxes for them and they were "installed" in the back of the store out of customer view. My iPhone 15 pro max was scratched day 1 after placing it in my purse. I finally went to replace the glass Protector and there isn't one!! The scratch is in front of my camera lens .. $100 Deductible to have new screen put on! I was also charged for free devices and had to call for months to get the promotions added and credits adjusted and it's almost fixed now .. with the help of Verizon who credited me when the store did not! I am still being charged for a free watch when I had to pay mine off to move to att .. when I opted for the free watch but I am being charged for it! After trading in a nearly new Apple Watch that I had to pay off. ONLY go to corporate owned Verizon locations .. this is a 3rd party site. Shameful! read more

To be clear: this review is for the Victra/Verizon store at 10857 Olson Dr., Rancho Cordova. To begin with - the location is not good. I felt 'at risk' just being there. The shop was boarded up. A hand painted 'We're Open' sign was nailed to the boards. A person in front of the shop loitered about eyeing us as we walked in. My son went back out to find him walking around the car with a backpack & ushered him off. I had done my research and knew which phone and 'pre-paid' (no contract) plan I wanted. I had called the day before to confirm that they had the phone in stock. When I walked through the door, the energy was 'off'; uneasy. The employees were polite enough, but it just felt like they were 'on-edge'. Anyway - I was offered a stool and told the salesman what I wanted. He immediately started to upsell me on a phone 5x the cost and that I would save $700 by buying the phone. I kept saying that I didn't want that phone; but he didn't seem to hear me. Then he said, 'but with the $250 promotional' .. and I interrupted. Your website says the promo is $300. He asked me to show him where it says that. I told him to check it on his phone. Then he decided that he could give me the $300 offer. That's when the plans became an issue. I told him 3x that I wanted the no contract Unlimited Talk/Text Plus pre-paid plan. He kept trying to change up the words for a contract by asking me 'how long do you plan on having the plan?" The pre-paid plans are only for people that don't intend to have the plan for a couple of months and I should get a 'post paid plan'. WTH is a POST-paid plan? After arguing with him to let me buy what I came in for - I gave up. Bait and switch tactics at their worst. I felt that there would soon be a 'warranty' plan confrontation - and my patience was failing. He would not let me buy what I wanted, so I walked out. That's when the man out front asked us if we had any 'weed' (I'm 70+) As I fumbled to get into my car, a woman quickly swerved in behind me, pushed out a little girl who ran up to me as I was getting into my car and tried to get me to buy something from her 'tray' of junk. As soon as I got into my car, I locked the doors and drove to the Boost Mobile store just 1 mile away. No issues there. Nice helpful staff; had the phone, offered me a bottled water, activated the phone and the plan for me and off I went. I didn't take pics at the Victra/Verizon shop because I just wanted to get away from there as fast as possible. read more

Beware of this location. Haley provided us an "accessories bundle" that was "packaged" as only costing $20. My wife specifically asked how much our total would be without the phone case. Haley responded back with $20. Because I realized my wife specifically referenced just the phone case, I followed up by asking how much the difference would be minus ALL of the accessories. Haley again said $20, because the "coupon" is set up that way. Customer pays for the case ($20) and the other accessories are free. "If you return the case, you will only be reimbursed $20 because the other items are free." Haley insisted that she put the accessories on the phone immediately. Still, none of this was sitting right with me so I specifically asked for an itemized receipt. She handed what appeared to be a receipt. When I got home and reviewed the receipt, there were no prices displayed and most importantly, no amount of sales tax collected. I hope this AUTHORIZED DEALER and VERIZON knows that in the state of California, if a tax paying retailer collects taxes on an item, the customer is to be provided a receipt for purchase price and ALL taxes collected. Haley conveniently left this information out of the "receipt." Please look up regulation 1686 of the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration's article 17 with your legal department. You will realize that Haley was in violation of this. I immediately called the store location and the gentleman who answered said, "our printer has been acting up." And to "come in tomorrow." Now I am no expert in the field of commercial printers, but I own many. When they "act up," they usually don't conveniently leave out specific pieces of information. Because of this guys response, I am led to believe that this scam is not limited to Haley alone. That this is the culture of this entire store. I just got off of the phone with Haley and she told me to call back on Wednesday to speak with the store manager, "Tevis." I will update my review after speaking with this person to confirm if this is a store culture or just a few individuals that should not be representing a brand such as Victra or Verizon. Their dishonesty and negligence can become very costly to companies of this caliber. Long story short, Haley charged us nearly $200 for these accessories. I tried to return these items, but since Haley so graciously OPENED and placed these items on the phone, they could not provide a full refund. Again, I will update this review once I speak with Tevis to determine if they are honest and have the capability of doing the right thing. Until then, I would stay away from this location. Definitely don't send your kids or older parents to this location as I can't confidently say everyone at this location is honest. read more

We went to this store to change our providers to Verizon. While we were shopping we were told about the promotions. Including a $200.00 prepaid visa per line for porting our numbers over from the previous carrier. With four lines, this promotion alone came to $800.00. We decided to sign up. After signing the sales contract I was unable to find the information on the prepaid visa card in the sales contract. I returned to the store and I was then told by another employee that the prepaid visa offer had ended four days earlier. I think we can all agree that $800.00 is a substantial amount of money, so naturally I wanted to discuss this with the store manager. Over the next week I made several attempts to contact the Manager Jonathan Salvini. I stopped by the store seven times, and each time I was told I just missed him. I called and left several messages and sent emails to both him and the District Manager. I never once heard back from them. In the end I was able to talk with the customer service at Victra, Verizon's authorized retailer who runs this branch, I was given a $200.00 credit. A far cry from the $800.00 I was promised, but at this point I felt that this was the best outcome I was going to get. In the future I won't use this location. I don't think the salesperson intentionally lied, I think it was a mistake. However I find it ridiculous that the manager won't return calls or emails. If you are in the market for new phone I encourage you to find another branch to conduct your business, because if there is an issue you will be ignored. Update: I was promised a $200.00 credit, it never happened. I am done with these liars and thieves, if you want Verizon go online. read more
