I live in Folsom but stopped by here 6/16/25 around 115 pm after eating lunch with a friend in Sacramento. I was greeted by a sales associate who was a white male of average height with dark hair and I forgot his name. I explained that I wanted to add a new phone and line to our current family plan and had brought an old iPhone to be used as trade in if needed. We went in circles because he kept insisting I had to update my old plan to even look at available promotions. I told him he was frustrating me and I was leaving. The next day I went to my usual Verizon store in Folsom. And guess what - my current plan was fine, didn't need updating, and there was a great promotion which came with a brand new iPhone 16 pro without trade in. I really wish there was a ZERO Star option. I went in for an upgrade and was being charged $260 out the door cost. I was offered complementary accessories with the phone, I specifically asked if I were to opt out of wanting the accessories, would the cost be the same..TREVOR had told me that the cost would stay the same. After looking at the invoice, $154 of the $260 charges shown were from all the "complementary" accessories. This store is out to rip people off. But in the future, I will only give business (purchase and more) to this store. Because their good service is consistent every time I visit. I was assisted by Trevor. He was so kind and nice. Not only that he was expert and very knowledgeable and skillful. Every staff seemed very nice and treat customers very good. This corporate office will be my only VZ store. I came here during Christmas time, to port over two phone numbers. The place was dead and I should have taken that as a sign because boy, when I got home and looked at the itemize receipt, I was livid. Our rep Greg was so fast in the store and good with the words that we didn't bother to question him because he was so chill and got us in and out. We didn't realize this was an Authoirze reseller, had I known, I would have left. They charge a setup fee in which it was $19.95 and then they offer this free cleaner but its technically not free. It's $14.95, so when I called back the next day to ask him why did you say it was free, his excuse was that they charge a set up fee and then in order to discount the set up we subtract that and add on the cleaners. I was like what kind of logic is that?! In addition they charge extra $10 on top of MSRP for the iPhones. I was so annoyed. I got to speak to the manager in person when I came back after Greg said my manager would offer me a refund on the cleaners. One star for the manager who offered me a refund on both of the cleaners even though one was opened. Just be aware that the customer service is too good to be true. I thought everything was fine until I got the bill this month, and he signed us up for $15 mobile protectIon, even though we were never asked about it. Learned the hard way that this is a franchise store. Had the worst experience in trying to solve a problem that they created by their store employee; Taylor Z. For some reason, they did not activate the new phone correctly and I was never billed. I was then sent to their collection office and it took about a month (maybe more) to figure things out. The endless amount of time that was spent going to the store in person, calling Verizon, calling go- wireless, calling their collection office and emailing was a hassle, especially when I am trying to pay them the money that was owned. Fun fact- their collection office is employed by one person which made things harder to get in contact with to get things solved and it is obviously understaffed. Once I contacted them, it then turned into a game of phone tag where they had to call the store manager and the store manager had to talk to their supervisor, etc. Somehow these offices and people had the worst time communicating and things remained unresolved until I continued to call. The store manager Trevor was helpful and tried to help as much as he could which was appreciated, but it is obvious that the whole system is set up in a way where customer service is not their top priority. Will never be coming back to this store. I prefer to drive a bit longer to go to an official Verizon store. read more

I came in after my phone stopped working in the middle of the show at 4am because sun just stopped working -__- I came in the next day, 20 minutes after opening and saw in action Trevor and Taylor ? (I remember one of the employees letting Trevor know they were gonna be a tad late and they all have t names which I thought was funny 3Ts lol) how they problem solve on the drop of a hat even with a language barrier. Super nice and calm even as customers can be a bit much and I got my SIM card quickly with everything going on in the store lol. This is the only Verizon store I go to now. read more

They ripped of an 75 year old who is on low income My 75 year old brother in law, who lives on low income and has not so good English skills, went to the Victra (Verizon) store on 6005 florin in Sacramento. His flip-phone got some RTT connection error, so when calling a smart phone he couldn't get a voice connection. The sales guy at the store was not able to help with the problem but talked him into buying a new flip-phone for $270.- plus $35.- Prepaid Basic Phone, plus $15.- Set Up Service? and $23.- Tax. Total $343.51 Back home he tried to call my wife's iPhone as well as my iPhone and the same problem occurred. Therefore my wife drove an hour to Sacramento and went with him to the store again. They still had no clue what's wrong and blamed it at our provider T-Mobile and our phones. After my wife called me, I talked to a worker at this location and Trevor L who claimed to be the manager. Unfortunately, he lacked management skills. I told him that my brother in law is going to return the total overpriced phone. He told me that there is a $50.- restocking fee which I was not happy about but agreed. 10 minutes later my wife called me and told me that they only returned $240.93 of the $343.51? Again I talked to Trevor and he told me that the $35 prepaid and the $15 set up fee isn't refundable too? Only after the return he told me that my brother in law could have kept the phone for 30 days, use up the $35 and then return it. When I told him that we were going to do that, he said now it's too late since he returned the money already and can not do anything now. Total BS When I ask why he didn't tell me that on the phone when we talked about the $50 restocking fee? He said that I should go shopping with him next time, and that he wasted an hour of their time with my wife and her brother. It's correct that they were there for an hour but mostly just standing around waiting while they talked to other customers or each other. All in all you should be ashamed of ripping off elderly customers who live on low income and don't have good English skills. And Verizon should be ashamed too having so sales driven individuals instead providing some honest good customer service. Overall I would avoid this place and avoid Verizon unless you like to be ripped off and cheated. read more

Trevor helped me set up a new line of service to my exisiting account and transffered my aunt's original phone number to her her phone. He was extremely helpful and answered all questions i had, to get the new line of service set up. Im not from Sac, but my aunt lives out there & he also recommended that the store CS team can help my aunt if she should ever run into questions with her phone. My aunt is 77yrs old and this is her 1st smart phone. So she was scared to get one, plus me living a good 1.5hrs away i felt more reassured that if she were to get extremely confused or move an app like the phone app to make calls, she can go to the store and a Verizon rep, hopefully Trevor can help her out. I would totally recommend this location, the team they have especially Trevor is knowledgable and he listened to what the actual issue or concerns were and presented solutions. read more

I used to love coming in for help on my phone or to pay my bill at the kiosk. The employees were always nice & friendly and the manager who checked you in helped to keep order or quick questions. Super convenient since it's close to home. But ever since they changed the store and employees The customer service sucks. I had gone in and called a few times and we were never greeted. The kiosk to pay my bill quick was removed. And you don't get checked in to keep order, just wonder whose in front of you or how much time itl take to get helped. "Whose next" They yell out. Shady business practices. They were trying to force me to buy their accessories otherwise they wouldn't let me upgrade my iPhone. They said they were low on inventory and if I didn't buy at least a charger, car charger, or phone case then they wouldn't upgrade me. They also tried to add on a bunch of fees totaling over $350. They noticed that I knew this was illegal and violation of Verizon policy and I was going to report them so they "waived" these charges bringing to total due to under $200. The "store manager" helped us. His name is Matt. He was cool at first but then became shady because we didn't want to buy his $55+ phone cases. Ridiculous prices. Towards the end of our business he just left the store without saying anything to us. Very unprofessional. If you like to get hussled by a bunch of ghetto looking dudes with tattoos and Gucci belt then come by. Otherwise I'd rather drive to Verizon in Elk Grove or Arden. read more

Why is it, that any company that has anything to do with providing service to people...such as phone, internet, television...fucking sucks ass when it comes to customer service????? I have a Droid. Supposed to be a really great phone..and it is, most of the time. But ever since the new software update, my phone acts like a fucking bitch. The last straw was when today I suddenly noticed that all of my pictures that I had taken ever since I had the phone just disappeared. Now, going back to the new update..my phone likes to come unlocked. By itself. And when it does that, a new screen comes up that shows the weather. I never really paid attention to it today until I noticed it had a play button. I pressed it and boom, the pictures I had lost start doing a slide show. I pressed the home screen, thinking my pictures had come back..but nope. I went to Verizon, and told the guy what happened. He was a total douche. I was telling him about that screen that comes up when my phone mysteriously becomes unlocked and he acted like I was a crazy lady. He said he couldn't do anything unless I was able to get the screen to come back up. Listen buddy, I don't know how to make the screen come up. It just appears out of nowhere. So apparently I have a phantom screen. My main reason for going was just to see if there was a backup somewhere in the phone they could have gone. That is all. Instead he patronizes me and says that he can't just go back in the other room and get on the computer and give me my pictures. Because they don't keep everyone's pictures. Really? No shit, Fucklock. Before this happened, I was out of the country for three months. I was also on an international plan. Within the first two weeks I was gone, they said my bill was over $6,000. WTF. My phone didn't even work half the time I was gone. So now not only did I have to pay $75 bucks for international on top of my regular bill, they charged me for internet, which was supposed to be free..because I was using WiFi. So this is what I have to say to you Verizon. Take your shitty ass customer service, your shitty ass charges, your shitty ass updates..and shove them up your CEO's ass. read more

Someone wrote back to me and told me that their haranguing you is part of their good customer service. Customer service is where a customer needs something and can get a timely response from a helpful employee. When I go there just a pay a bill and you ask me for my full name, require that I be logged in before you even let me walk into the store, then tell me "someone will be with me to assist me" and to "wait until they are free" EVEN THOUGH the payment machine is sitting vacant right there ... That's not customer service; that feels more like harassment. read more

I came into the store to upgrade my phone.. ended up having to order my phone and have it shipped to the store.. it took a little longer due to the 4th of July but as promised received a call that the phone was ready to be picked up. I encountered some technical difficulties but George was very patient. I ended up coming back the next day to finish up a couple of things and George hadn't started his shift yet but the other employees in the store were able to assist me until George arrived. My wife and I recently went into the Florin Rd. Verizon store and had an excellent experience. The service rep, Sam, knew exactly what he was doing. We dreaded getting new cell phones because when we got our Galaxy S3's a couple of years ago from a nationwide electronics store, we were there for over 2 hours and we were the only ones in the store. That wasn't the case this time around, we told Sam what phones we wanted and the plan that we wanted and he got right on it. He showed us a couple of additional items (cases, screen protectors..etc.) but no pressure at all to buy. Sam was knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Overall the whole process flew by and we were out of there before we knew it. I'd definitely recommend the Florin Rd. Verizon store to anyone looking to change carriers. read more
