Went in for a super quick question regarding international calling as the phone rep in customer service gave conflicting information. Was told the wait would be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. The dude with the tablet didn't even inquire about the super quick question to see if he could remotely answer it. It's all good tho, I'm assuming his personal conversation that I apparently interrupted when I walked in was more important. Time to go to Verizon I suppose. read more

I do not want to even give this store a 1 star. Horrible service. Had a 530 appointment, was told when I got there that it would be at least a half hour to 40 minute wait and that I could "go sit in my car and we will call you." Still not sure the point of offering appointment scheduling. I literally watched walk-ins get service before I did. I waited for almost 2 hours and no one ever called. So I called and they told me that they couldn't give me a certain time and that I "could make another appointment or go to another store because it is what it is." I took time off work for that appointment and missed a doctor appointment as well. The staff was rude, disrespectful and discourteous. I stood outside and watched them treat the customers with appointments like garbage while they let walk-ins come in whenever they wanted. They were also clearly beyond the maximum allowed by COVID guidelines. Its 3 hours after my appointment and they still havent called. Trust me, go to the Monterey or Gilroy store. The management there is much more professional and much more equitable. read more

I walked in today paying a solo monthly bill of about 130. My plan 6GB of data with unlimited voice/text. My initial intent was in no regard to my bill - but my mobile plan for international use. After a short wait I was greeted by Rebecca. She was very pleasant and informative. After a thorough evaluation of my plan I walked out today with a bill of roughly 95. Regardless of cost- she went out of her way with my best interest in mind. She was pragmatic and incredibly helpful. Big-up to Rebecca today. Thanks! read more

Most of the workers are good. But if you are handicapped in any way this store is not a good choice. They'll tell you to go to Target & use their bathroom. By the time I got back I decided to cancel my purchases. Be aware that they will only give you a portion of your money back if you change your mind about doing business with them. read more

I hate this store. It is like going to Little Mexico! Always super busy, customer service is spotty, some of the sales reps. are knowledgeable and helpful, other not so much. All I hear spoken in this store is Spanish. I am handicapped, and they just do not want to accommodate me or even help me. Screwed at the outset. Bought galaxy s6 at time of promo to get free galaxy tab 4 was given a LG instead saying promo did not apply to new phone. Months later, went into another dealer that said the promo applied to all samsung phones. Called Att customer service they said the same thing, they sent me the tab 4 I should have gotten in the beginning. Went back to Salinas store and they didn't even want to give me any free accessories for THEIR mistake or for the time and stress. If I can give this place 0 Stars I would they know nothing about phone services they know nothing about phones I think I know more about phones than they do. I checked in and all I wanted was to have my phone plugged in to see why my battery wasn't charging when it's a brand new phone I literally just got it today and when I asked him to do that he put me on a list and made me wait 1-hour. finally my name was in the number one spot, but then he starts to pick random people to go in front of me when my name is in the number one spot. So after an hour and 20 minutes anybody is going to start screaming I just want my phone plugged in, to see what's going on with it. I yelled at him and told him I want him to plug my phone in and it's not that hard he told me the people that are going in front of you have simple issues yours is extremely complicated. I explained to him I don't care how complicated it is I've been waiting an hour and 20 minutes, so then another guy comes up says I will help you plugs in my phone less than 15 minutes I'm out of AT&T how simple was that I think the problem is is that they think they own AT&T!!!!! I was prepared to leave a negative review after my experience here on Wednesday, because I arrived 15 minutes after the store opened and was told it would be at least 25 minutes until someone could help me. I was initially annoyed by this because there were 3 employees standing by the front door when I arrived and I simply needed to purchase a new phone. I knew what I wanted and I wasn't altering my plan. Anyway the wait ended being closer to an hour. I'm leaving a 5 star review because I received excellent customer service. I was helped by Cesar and he was very friendly and explained how firstnet works as well as why most phones don't work in Costco and why they are so slow in north Salinas! If you're wondering, Costco is a dead zone because of how the building is made. And north Salinas should have better reception in about year when they are done working on the cell towers. Anyway he brought out the phone, got it activated and everything went smoothly. read more

i went to salinas ca today even though i have a main branch approx. 3 miles from my house at the del monte center, at the harden ranch store i had a short wait and was able to pay my bill with assistance of the clerk and given an new access code with out someone trying to use some police jargon to pay a bill . it was much appreciated. now if they can fix my direct tv it would be appreciated instead of sending out burned out technicians who dont know their jobs a customer who pays his bill on time and is waiting for service that he pays for! read more

Spoke to Katrina over the phone in regards to a question I had in regards to my bill, I was being charged monthly for a free phone I received back In 2017 BOGO deal promotion they had at the time. She was able to credit my money back to my next bill but said "thats all she can do, I'm not even going to try" All I asked was to get my money back into my bank account for my current bills. I was treated unprofessionally, she was very rude and would talk over me when I would explain the situation. I have always loved AT&T and there service but lately its just issue after issue. AT&T needs to better train there staff on promotions they have going on, in store employees do give any details on the current offers or "free phone" that isn't free. Also, I did not appreciate the fact that I was switched over to a new plan without my consent, I was not notified changes were being made and I now have a different plan that's more expensive but have no choices but to continue for about a month and switch to an alternative carrier like Verison. Changes need to be made in this company, Alot of people are very unhappy and have nothing good to say about AT&T. Fix it read more

It's ok. AT&T being the cheap SOB they are closed 2 store and erected just one for 100,000 people (Salinas). Customer service went from good to worse and employees being pulled left and right. The only thing they have going on is lots of eye candy for the guys. read more

Horrible service. Whe you first walk in it feels like your walking through airport security. Your greeted by 3-4 people who dont say hello or smile. They are too busy involved into their own personal gossip to help anyone. You have to go and ask for help and then when you do the service reps get kinda weird. The reps are not very customer service friendly. No drive to explain the products to you. It almost like they are not used to people asking questions. This store in specific is really bad. I been a customer of AT&T for many years now. At first I loved the service and the customer service I was getting here. However on my visit today, the customer service was horrible. The guy that talked to us was not friendly at all and seem not to care. As soon as we asked a question before trying to see what he could do for us, he decides to try to avoid us and give us a customer service number saying he could not help.This visit made me realize that I will no longer be with this company. It's sad how customer service can really change the perspective of the company. I will most likely be moving to Verizon. My visit to Verizon was great. The only thing that that this company does great is tech support when they come to your house to fix something they are great people and the online services are great too but in store is very disappointing. read more

Very poor customer service. Staff has no knowledge of ordering process nor services available, even with access to products and services via their internal ordering system. What would have taken 5 minutes to pickup an order ended up taking over 1 hour. Waste of my time. read more
