Stopped in not knowing the place wasn't open yet,(no hours of operation on display BTW) some guy walked up to the door swiped his key to open the door & without even a "good morning" he says, "WE OPEN AT 10:00", walks in and closes the door. Not a friendly environment. Numerous employees but it seems they are there for looks not customers. Some of us are not technically clever but know what we want in a phone and not always the newest fancier iPhones. They have limited display and stock and could not even get the phone I wanted by ordering it, even though it was on display. They seemed disinterested. Went to Xfinity and was amazed at the friendly greeting and service. Numerous phones and accessories. They had the phone I wanted but had to order the color. Amazing service. I had an appointment today at the Verizon store inside of the Northridge mall and I had such a horrible experience. They were extremely unfriendly and after making the appointment for an upgrade I arrived and left in 10 minutes due to disappointing customer service. Feeling discouraged I decided to go across the street to the Verizon store on N Main. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by Roger. I let him know I was interested in an upgrade and what the monthly cost would be. He led myself and my boyfriend to a sitting area so we could discuss my upgrade. During our conversations over the upgrade he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and I really felt heard over what I was comfortable upgrading and paying. I let him know that I was having a great experience because I had just left the Verizon that is inside of the northridge mall and it was definitely not the best but really happy I decided to come to this location instead. Our appointment with Roger was refreshing and a lot of fun! I usually stress over these kinds of things but I'm really happy I was able to give my business to a place where they care about their customers. Thank you again Roger! The employees are ok even though some are just standing cleaning because there is not that many people there; and yet we were waiting for one of them to help us. Then they told us about $30 charge to set up our new phone and the new iPhone 15 pro max deal would go through for another 30 days but our phone will come at the end of this month or later because of supply change. We wanted their word they will give us the deal but they won't. We will just wait till next year, such a waste of time. My worked as if I wanted to come in so I can make more money because I need it and said no. Waste of time these people with their price gouching and ridiculous rules and services. SCAMMERS!!! The sales people are super shady and I'm going to look into a lawsuit, they added additional items to my phone setup without my consent of purchase and they didn't even bother giving me one of the items so they probably kept it for themselves since they checked it out of inventory, they also told me the phone screen, case and charger were free with purchase of the specific phone but I got but I was also charged a extra +160 for that after I requested a full statement with all the details weeks later. Mall cameras will prove I didn't walk out with the item even if they delete their own store footage. Shady business and the sales guys were awful they act like they're too good to be there. We went on Saturday to upgrade two of our phones, but we left with one of the lines not being set up properly and was told it should start working in 24hrs the rep that helped us (Rene) mentioned he will be following up with us the next day, but it never happened. My brother went on Monday after work and Of course he was told they could not help because they had to many customers and about to closed. My husband and I went to upgrade his phone at 11 am and the lady said to come back with an appointment at 2 pm so we waited around and ran errands in the meantime. We came back at 2pm and we waited almost a whole hour to be helped. Then what's the point of an appointment?!!!! Well, I was here a year ago and it seems it's only gotten worse. They keep telling customers that they are only working on appointments while 2 employees are holding the counter down so that it won't float away. They said I can take a seat while I try do do it myself. I've learnt that they have dogs, they use a small bowl, they've paid $8.00 for a drink, they get their food with salsa ect. To think I'll be on the market for 5 new phones during Christmas, I must admit, this is not the place to get them. Waited over an hour to get help. very limited on personnel and the ones working, move very slow.

The salesperson that helped me was polite, with a smile and making small talk about the weather, work, etcetera etcetera. I went in knowing what I wanted and having done enough research to shorten the time spent in the physical store. I was attended fairly quickly and the process was quite painless. I think having done my own research helped out in that sense. I returned in two days because somehow the person who activated my little unit had done a poor job so that I was not able to use it till I returned 2 days later. The techs over the phone were as helpful as could be without actually fixing the problem. Upon my return to get the problem solved the same guy that sold me the product helped me out or rather kept me waiting while he sold another product to someone else. At that point I was beyond irritated. I finally got that problem solved only to be back 2 weeks later because the charger broke but that is a mechanical problem not customer service. Overall, you will be treated like what you are if you visit this store, a consumer and the sales people are that Sales people. It was too much of a cliché. I'll do it over the phone or online next time and avoid the trip. =) read more

So, went to the store and was told that my contract was over on 12/09/2011! On, 12/13/2011 , I cancel led Verizon and transfered my Number to another carrier(Decent Service and cheaper plan) . Now! Here we are in January of 2012 and I get a Cancellation charge of $145! Called Verizon and was told that my Contract wasn't up until April 12,2012.....It became a whole "he said/she said " and at the end I'm stuck with the fee. I was offered to get a "Phantom" line (What ever that means) and be charged $40 a month until April so I wouldn't pay the Cancellation fee....WTF?! Regardless, this type of practice is what Class Action lawsuits are about. Stay tuned fellow consumers! read more

I normally don't write reviews but being a believer in excellent customer service as being the soul of a business. I must leave a review for Verizon at N. Main St. I upgrade my phone this black Friday through the website. When we went to pick it up, I stayed in the car with my baby while my wife went to pick it up. She added a phone case, screen protector and an extra battery. As soon as she got in the car I tried the case and it was for the for the iPhone XR and not my iPhone x. She says the sales person showed her a bunch of cases saying all where for the iPhone x so she just picked up a black case as I had indicated not paying attention the sales person brought the wrong size case. I immediately got of the car to go exchange it and the person greeting customers told me I had to wait my turn, which was more than an hour just to exchange the wrong case that was given to my wife. I could not believe what I heard!!! My wife had just walked out the door. This review is more for management and thier bad customer service polices. How can you make a customer that just walked out with more than a thousand dollars worth of product wait more than an hour to simply exchange a phone case that was given by mistake to my wife. Worst customer service ever!! I made a purchase 3 weeks ago. I bought a new iPhone 8, a Apple Watch 3, a charger , a screen protector, a phone case for my son. And a case for my iPhone 8. ( I didn't need one but the salesman recommended I get one to get the bundle discount). He brought a few to choose from. I did not realize it was the wrong size (iPhone X) I came in today to exchange it and was told they could not help me because I had a 14 day return or exchange policy. WTH !!!! I was not told that when this salesman sold me all these extras that I did not need! Horrible return policy, wish they share that when they are up their sales. Will not do business here again. I had to get a SIM card activated so I had to go to the local Verizon store in North Salinas. Gio helped me and we found out that the line was NOT set up. He fixed everything, and was just wonderfully polite and helpful. He knew about EVERYTHING regarding Verizon. He answered all of my questions and then some. From now on, GIO is my go-to guy. I went into this store to get an upgrade and it went anything but smooth. I just recently moved into the area so it was my first time going into this Verizon store. From past experience at other Verizon stores I expected a friendlier more helpful store. They sent me to a different store to pick up my new phone since they were out of the phone I wanted at this store. My contacts were never transferred, help was never offered to start up my phone or anything that is normally offered with the purchase of a new phone. The only things that were offered were upgrades, insurance for phone and accessories. My experience upgrading was not pleasant when usually I am excited to get a new phone. I am not a fan of visiting Verizon stores because I usually have to wait a long, long time before I am helped. This time was different. My name was put on the list right as I walked in the door and I was informed I was the next person on the list. 5 minutes later I met the customer service person, David. He got information from me regarding my problem with the phone and started trying to solve it right away.
