I am writing this review to warn others about the deceptive sales practices and lack of accountability at this location. When switching our service, I explicitly told the in-store representative that my previous carrier bill from Optimum Mobile would not show a phone payoff balance because our devices are financed directly through Apple. The representative explicitly told me, "Once you upload the information, they will still send you a Visa card. Technically it's supposed to be for your phone, but you can use it for whatever." Relying entirely on this promise, I moved my wife and myself to this network and uploaded my teacher ID and bills. Unsurprisingly, the switcher program repeatedly rejected the documents because the automated system does not honor Apple financing. When I tried to get this resolved, I was thrown into a horrific customer service loop. Customer service told me to call Rewards. Rewards told me to go back to the store. The store told me they couldn't do anything. I have spent more than EIGHT hours on the phone trying to fix a mistake made by their own employee. Worse yet is the store management. I called on June 8th and spoke to a manager named Juan, who promised to call me back and never did. I called again on June 9th, and Juan never called back a second time. I later spoke to another manager named Lorelie, who also promised a callback and never delivered. Because management actively dodged my calls and delayed this process, they are now claiming I am "outside of the 14-to-30-day grace period" to return the phones and cancel service without penalty. The time it took on waiting to hear back from the rewards for approval and trying to get everything resolved, I am almost out of the window to take advantage of the switcher program as well. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone trying to get this issue resolved. read more

Terrible customer service at this store. Extremely rude employees. I waited 15 minutes before any employee came out to the floor from the back. Several customers left out of frustration before they were helped. When I was finally assisted, I was immediately greeted with hostility. "Are you going to have a problem?" He asked. With ATT be aware of the fact that you will have to interact with their automated phone system in order to fix any issues you may come across. Incredible customer service with Justin at the store today 3/11/25. We were transferring our phone to AT&T and ran into multiple issues with the process, including hardware issues and forgotten passwords, but Justin was so patient and extremely helpful the whole time we were there (a long time). To be more specific, we even had to transfer data from a phone that could not access wifi and bluetooth, and he was quick to come up with solutions. He made sure that we had everything transferred to the new phones successfully and that our phones were working properly before we left. Having worked with multiple carriers and visiting multiple stores for this same process, I can attest that no one has ever been so patient and considerate with our family's needs as Justin was today. This AT&T store is highly recommended if you are wanting welcoming service! There was a small wait when I walked in, but was greeted instantly, got my name taken down and had a seat for a moment while someone finished up with their customer. I was working with Victoria to help me upgrade my phone, add my girlfriend onto my plan, and upgrade her phone as well. She was very responding to my issues, able to help everything I needed assistance with and eager in doing so. My experience at this store was short, highly informative, and pleasant. read more

First of all, like many of you, I pay alot for phone service from AT & T. I also have AT & T for DSL and Direct, I rarely need to go to a store. However, the employees here are not interested in serving customers. I arrived to turn in two iphones after I upgraded and the guy working there told me I would need to go online because it's complicated. Some woman working there backed him up and said I would need to go online. So I leave on the way to lunch and I see another AT & T store next to the Sonterra Costco. So I stop by. Completely different reaction. They took my phones, went online, and took care of me. I left the store with a credit on my account for the value of the phones. Then let a customer walk out, due to his incompetence and rudeness, who was about to buy brand new Apple Watch!!! Guess he doesn't care that his attitude just lost his company a sell!! I have been trying to help my Mother with her Att bundle package and get the price lowered after the passing of my Father. After multiple phone calls (hours of heavily accented difficult to understand responses) i finally got someone to tell me I had to go to a store to get this resolved. The person I dealt with was absolutely great. He even got on the phone with another section of ATT that I had spoken to previously to get this worked out. It never would have gotten done otherwise. My mother and I had a wonderful experience at this store today. We arrived and were greeted instantly and put on the list. Although there was a small wait, we were informed it was due to call ins and we were assured we would be taken care of as soon as possible. Aaron helped us with a phone trade in and did an exceptional job. He was very kind and patient. My mother didn't know some of her passwords and he was very kind and patient with her. I'm very impressed with this AT&T location. I was greeted promptly at the door and passed to Josh when he was finished with a customer. I love reporting great customer service and I have to say he was AMAZING! I just moved to the area and he worked tirelessly to help me establish a new plan to get rid of data overages. He then helped me to set up an internet installation appt. He wasn't happy with the 3 week wait so he said he'd call every morning to check for cancellations. Sure enough, I got two notices of closer dates until he found one for this week. He went above and beyond, and should be commended for his exceptional customer service skills!!!! My husband found a brand new iPhone 11 on the side of Blanco Rd while he was riding his bike. The screen was completely shattered. The owner put the phone in lost mode but we could not read the phone number. I took the phone to the Apple Store at La Cantera but they refused to help me because of "privacy issues". Last night, my husband removed the SIM card and saw that the carrier was AT&T. I took the phone to the AT&T store on Hwy 281 North at Stone Oak in The Villages at Stone Oak shopping center. Rodney, the branch manager, was able to email the owner and get the phone returned to them. YAY! Rodney! Thanks for reuniting the owner and their IPhone 11. read more

Very disinterested in helping me. Seemed very put out that I even wanted to know my upgrade options and possibly adding another line, to take advantage of the buy one get one free promotion. They didn't have the new 11's in stock and when I asked if there was a way to check other locations, he told me "i don't know their flow schedule so it would be just cold calling each location and you can do that yourself". I'm pretty sure I'm close to $600-$700 a month with att between phone, internet, etc and I'm completely fed up with their lack of help on all fronts. I do know his name, but watching the other employees work it would seem a common theme so no need to single anyone out. Att needs to employe people at this location that want to be employees here. And god forbid you ask to know a total price of something. Not what the price before fees is but the total price after all the little extras they charge plus taxes... read more

Ok well here's a not so happy review about AT&T. Apparently I was sold a botch cell phone. After having problems with my new cell phone I decided to set an appointment at AT&T the next morning. I was told I could swap out my cell phone with no problems because it was only three days old. I was like cool, sounds easy enough. I get there,there's six people already in the store with one employee working. Come to find out there one person short and no manager on site either. I was approached and asked what brought me there, I explained how my iCloud restore was done as a new phone and not from a previous restore & to top it off my new cell kept shutting off. I asked to swap it out and was given an instant, no! Apparently,you have to go through Apple to swap it out but I was already told it could be done there @ TPC Parkway AT&T when I called the day before. I get a little discouraged come back home call Apple Support to explain what happened & to my amazement they were right. That's not was ticked me off. It's time consuming, it's a new phone and this shouldn't be happening. I asked well what about the Body Guardz Screen Guard? If my cell gets replaced will they give me a new screen protector? They said No! I was pissed at that point. I argued why not if I paid for it and it's there iPhone product that's messed up! They said I could ask the manager but there was no guarantees they would give me another. I paid 38.00 for it and it's stuck to the screen of the cell that doesn't work and they won't replace it? BS! Totally not liking AT&T at this point. I paid for a new cell, I have to go clear across town to get it swapped (if they swap it)they won't replace the screen protector and that's totally uncool. Well I made a call to AT&T after and thank you Lauren! She gave me an instant credit of 53.67 just for the hassle I had to endure and the way I was treated. Which obviously is more than what the screen protector cost me. But it's credited to the account and not back to my debit card which bites! I guess something is better than nothing? I've come to learn that AT&T is AT&T and Apple is Apple.. It's clear to me neither are on the same page as far as detailed information goes on exchanges within a 14 day period. Getting the phone was fun but the three days after weren't and the main problem still isn't resolved. There is still an issue of the cell phone turning off. Luckily I can reverse the entire process close out my account with no fees and take my business elsewhere. I'm one person out of many, what do they care.... Worst customer service ever! I was looking to change providers to At&t but I'm glad I got to experience their customer service before making that mistake. The greeter was rude and indifferent to our request. While I waited a few minutes I could see his disdain in talking to other customers and reps that asked him questions. No thanks! Told me to leave and go online to set up my new phone, I have ATT service, when I explained I was instructed to come there, she still told me I was suppose to do it at home. Then she proceeded to find a paperclip and told me to use that instead of the key that would not scratch my new device, to get SM card out. She told me that I should have been able to do it at home. When I did not want to use the paperclip I simple asked for the key to unlock it she said there was no such thing and I said that was dumb and she accused me of calling her dumb. I explain that I did not call her dumb and wanted to work with someone else that was willing to help me get my device in order. She left, 30 minutes later she told me it would take a long time and would register me in the que to be assisted by someone else. I said this was fine. The next service member was helpful, there was a glitch that had to be reset and I did need to be there as well as used the key to unlock my device to get the SM card situated. read more

Steer clear of this store. When we took my defective phone in for help, they tried to convince us that the problem was not covered by a warranty and then tried to get us to buy a whole new phone. When I refused, their second piece of advice was to buy a charging pad because then the phone could charge without being plugged in (they said I broke the inside where the charger plugs in- although the night it went dead, it was plugged in and charging fine). Since the charging pad sounded like a good solution, I was willing to purchase one but wanted to try it beforehand . Well, the charging pad didn't work either. But rather than admit the problem was a defective phone, they said my Note 5 didn't work with a charging pad and I just needed to purchase a new one. This is when I knew they were just trying to make a sale. After leaving we went to another store with a wonderful sales person (Crystal) who DID help us honestly and started the process of having the warranty department replace the phone. Although the second store (ATT at Bitters and 281)was AWESOME, the terrible dishonesty of this store led me to switch all three of my phone lines to another provider. So, after 10+ years of doing business with ATT, the people at this store drove me to switch to another provider. Be wary of this store! read more
