I open my account and on of the employee did a terrible job she gave the new iPhone 17 but never create my proper phone provider I was a ghost in the system for over 1 moth my names didn't appear in their system and I did not received any help at all they only make you call their call center where they hire people from other countries that doesn't do their jobs at all they don't even underwent and put you in whole for hours and not capable to help. read more

They were happy to sell us a phone but when we came back the next day for help they said no one there could help with an android. It was awful. He broke his phone having a stroke, lost most of his vision and they couldn't be bothered to help set up his apps. Will never use ATT again read more

Got the new iPhone a few months back. The man helping me was pretty clueless but I was patient. He then said they had a promo where all I needed to do was pay the taxes, and I'd get a charger, case, and screen protector (wrong). He also said there was no charger included with the phone (wrong). After then getting charged on my first bill for these accessories, I went back to double check the promo. THE MANAGER confirmed it - said I should be getting a credit in the next cycle and then each month to offset the cost (wrong... the manager directly lied to my face, now twice). After another month, I spent 45 minutes with customer service before driving to the store. Both sides said they had no clue what I was referring to for this promo. The new manager (much better) said the old manager and the man who helped me had since been separated. But, said there's nothing they could do. So now, I'm paying $140 because AT&T didn't appropriately screen and hire good employees that don't lie to customers. I'm writing this review so the ownership takes accountability. You can't fire someone then when I come in and say I was lied to (multiple times) say whoops, sorry nothing we can do! read more

They know their products and accessories backwards and forwards. I had gone to another store earlier but did not get service like this so I left. I went into the AT&T store in Pacific Beach after my phone was stolen, already stressed and hoping someone could help me get a replacement quickly. Unfortunately, my experience with Christian made things even worse.He was unhelpful, dismissive, and lacked any empathy for my situation. Instead of walking me through my replacement options or helping me figure out how to get reconnected, he seemed annoyed and uninterested from the start. Every question I asked felt like it was an inconvenience to him. I left the store more confused than when I came in, without any clear solution.When you've just had your phone stolen, you expect at least a little understanding and guidance -- especially from someone representing a major company like AT&T. Sadly, I got neither. This experience really made me reconsider staying with AT&T at all. read more

Jay is an exemplary employee who goes above and beyond. However it was painful to have him get bounced around with tech support, but he took these punches with a smile. Tech support kept bouncing him and his colleague around as he tried to handle a store full of customers and there was nothing he or his colleague could do but apologize and keep trying. This man deserves a raise and would be a valued asset to any customer service team. He cares more than most should or do in this situation. One tech working the floor. I was next in line for help, and the tech said he'd be "right with me.." His original customer was taking a very long time to decide so I thought he would come and help me, but he didn't. Shortly thereafter another tech came out and started helping a customer who had come in after me. I asked the original tech what was going on and he reiterated that he would be right with me. He didn't tell the other tech to help me. I waited another five minutes, he was no closer to helping me, so I left after a total of thirty minutes of waiting with no help received. read more

Unfortunately I can't share the name of the employee I worked with today, because she never told me, but it's the woman with neon rainbow hair, pink eyebrows, and long fake nails. I was the only customer the whole time although two other came in while I was there. She was outrageously rude to all three of us. I don't think I finished one sentence the entire time because she interrupted me constantly. I was quoted the wrong price two different times, told I was stupid for having had Spectrum before, and aggressively pushed a phone line after I was clear that I was not going to switch mobile carriers. She said I could only purchase fiber but couldn't tell me the difference between that and cable: "fiber is ...it's awesome." Oh, and it's 30% more expensive than the same package at Spectrum. And I can't self install "because the system designated a tech install and that will never change." The install technician wasn't available for four days. My building has an exclusive service contract with AT&T and I'm told that's my only internet option, but I am going to figure out some way around this even if it means I've got to complete vocation training to become an installation tech myself rather than make a purchase from this woman. I would rather never use the internet again than sign up for AT&T and potentially have to interact with her ever again. read more

I had a great experience at this third party store as if it were a regular AT&T Store and was assisted by Sandra who was super helpful. I had pre-ordered online a phone that was only available far south in Chula Vista and far north Oceanside, so I decided for CV and reserved the phone. A few days later I contacted the AT&T CV location to save gas and time about transferring it to this location in PB as they had the phone I needed, they explained how it's a third party store and how the PB store is separate that's why it was not an option online. After calling 611 and talking to two different AT&T reps who were not helpful cancelling my order in CV, I gave up on dealing with them over the phone. I ended up deciding to do my purchase in PB which went smoothly. The in-person experience is so much better vs dealing with customer service from their call center, which makes me never want to call 611 again! Sandra made everything a cinch with her excellent customer service and was friendly and very knowledgeable! 5 Stars.~ read more

The SD PB store NOT even a corporate store (near fraud as NO real name posted anywhere) & they said they that they "cannot" even sell me a new iPhone (they say I HAVE to "finance" it, a SCAM) or add eSIM to my ongoing iPhone (not true per the nearby corporate store workers), so send me 30 mins away to a real corporate store in SD Mission Valley , there x 2+ hours for that worker to activate my iPhone 12 eSIM (he clearly was not even trained how to), so 3 hours spent yesterday on this one thing, 100% sloppy, ABSURD & unprofessional. Went to the store and asked for a prepaid plan. David asked to see my phone and confirmed that it was able to do it as long as I buy a chip. He charged my credit card and proceed by inserting the chip into my phone. After 10 minutes he said I have a bad news. Your phone will not work with this chip. I asked for the money back and he said I would have to return the next day to speak with the manager. I returned the next day and the manager Amanda was very rude. She confirmed (after she told me she wouldn't help and ignored me) that even if David made a mistake she also doesn't have the authority to return the money. I called the customer service and they apologized for the mistake but have not returned the money. read more

I experienced a total bait and switch by AT&T. I was offered a free phone promotion at the PB store to move from Verizon (with trade in). After MONTHS of trying to find out why I was still being charged for the phone, I was informed someone from AT&T arbitrarily reduced the value of my trade-in and retroactively took away the promotion. No warning, no disclosure and per the store personnel, no chance of getting this corrected. read more

Worst experience ever. First, I arrived 5 minutes before the store opened and the door was ajar with all the lights off and no one inside. Concerning. Came back an hour later to get my Apple Watch, which was bought from Walmart, cellular roaming activated and the employee would not do so and said I needed to provide a receipt of the watch to prove it wasn't stolen? This was after it took her 30 minutes, text messages and a phone call to her manager to come to that conclusion. Very unprofessional and clearly had no idea what she was doing. Julian was extremely helpful and friendly and pulled out all the stops to sync everything smoothly and get me functional. I came from Sprint (HORRIBLE service / customer service ) and it was a breath of fresh air walking into AT&T with De'Andre. As an AT&T rep in the pacific beach he deserves recognition. I was thoroughly pleased with his amazing customer service, personality, and overall ability to manage multiple customers at once being the only employee on a Sunday. 10/10 best experience I have ever had with ANY service or service representative. He really knows how to welcome his customers and make everyone feel at home in AT&T. (My dad and I invited him to lunch after we felt so comfortable and welcomed!)
