AT&T is the worst of all the WiFi providers in America! I have had the worst service, the most inept employees and absolute harassment over bills and equipment that have long been returned and account closed. In the Sherman Oaks store, the employees are rude and could care less about helping customers. I ran away from their "services" to T Mobile where there is good service and better WiFi. As many other reviews mention, the employee (hispanic guy) here has extremely poor work ethic. If you don't want to work in customer service, then maybe it's time to find a different job. I came in to pick up a new iPhone that my husband ordered online. When I greeted him, he just stared at me and ignored me. I explained why I was there, and he was completely careless and unhelpful. While I was trying to clarify things with my husband, he simply stood there doing nothing. The only comment he made was, "We got one order that was canceled," without even checking or trying to assist further. He wouldn't even make eye contact. I'm not asking for luxury treatment--just basic customer service. He didn't have a name badge either, which says a lot. Definitely not returning to this location. read more

Please stay away from this store. I traded in my old iPhone for a new 17 Pro which was supposed to be a free trade in. However, the lady I dealt with did not code my trade in correctly so I am still waiting to get the credits on my bill. That was 4 months ago. I went back to the store to complain 2 weeks ago and dealt with an entire new staff. They told me the lady was fired because she had screwed up the trade ins, including mine. He said give it a week. He gave me his personal cell number. Fast forward to today, I've tried calling the guy on his cell phone for 2 days straight. No answer and no mailbox to leave a message. The final straw is that I am trying today to call the store on their direct business number but no one answers the phone and no voice mail message. Got in on a Friday Afternoon expected to wait a long time but I was greeted by Martin, he was helping a lady connect a new phone, But He also started helping me. Avoid this store, I traded in my mint-condition iPhone and later found out that they gave me less than half of the original reimbursement amount that was proposed. When following up I found out that AT&T said the either the store or warehouse listed all sorts of issues with the phone that didn't exist. I use a screen protector and case so the phone was in excellent condition. They told me someone marked that the phone wouldn't turn on and that there were huge black marks on the phone, which is all false. Someone switched my phone for another phone. I placed a formal complaint for fraud with AT&T. Avoid this store. read more

Went into the store pretty frustrated that my iPhone was reading "SOS" in the top corner. I was greeted by Logan who went to work to help me isolate the issue. We had to call the fraud line in order to take things to the next level and they were absolutely no help at all. The phone rep was insensitive and dismissive. After the call, Logan stayed busy trying to help me. He was eventually able to isolate the issue and solve the problem entirely. He was extremely patient, polite and I left that AT&T thankful that Logan was working that day. This guy is top notch!! read more

I had the most wonderful experience the last couple days with an employee named Paul. He was so helpful with all of the issues that my phone was having. First he tried to help and troubleshoot it and then when it was determined that it wasn't something he could fix he helped me with all of the steps of filling out a claim and having a new phone shipped to me and then had me come in and he set the phone up for me as well. There was a SIM card issue so it made it difficult to transfer everything to the new phone and he was so helpful! Not only was he knowledgeable but he put me at ease as well. In this stressful world we live in having our phones stop working can be very stressful especially having to have a new one mailed to you so having an employee that can not only fix your problem but keep you at ease while they are doing it is definitely an asset to the company! Such terrible, terrible customer service. The guy who "helped" us will not be winning the customer service of the year award within this century. What's the point of having a store if they tell you to just go online and do it yourself or to then call customer support once you leave their store? This employee also read an error code to me from his computer like I'm supposed to know what that means and figure it out. If you can't figure it out as the employee, how am I figuring it out solo? Also, zero offer from him to call and work through it while at the store. Then, once you reach customer support from home, they say that this location should have assisted you, that they can't assist you by phone, and that you need to return to the store. Stopped here for a new SIM card and found out I was eligible for a phone upgrade, completely covered. Martin helped me out, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was transferred to my new phone before I left. I usually go to Apple rather than my carrier for phone issues, but I'll be coming back to this store in the future. Great experience! read more

I stopped by last week and was going in to just look at phones, but after the great service I received from Martin, I ended up opening multiple new lines for my business. They have such a great selection of different types of phones and Martin was able to help me make the best selections for what I needed. The best part was Martin was able to find me a great plan that was pretty much a bang for my buck. I highly recommend going in and talking to Martin, the store manager, he will get you great deal for what you're looking for. Only downside is parking, but for what Martin can do for you it's highly worth it. read more

Bad service, gave us false information and signed us with the wrong plan yet wouldn't make a commitment to make the changes. Not to mention Sarkis spend 2 hours on setting up our lines. Manager is also not helpful in this situation, did the minimum, bounced the ball right back to the employee who created the problem. Not surprising they are a team. As a result we have to leave ATT since no one is willing to help. Just be mindful that signing up a plan is not hard, so the good reviews are only shallow representations of this store and the people. The true test is when someone messes things up and is committed to take their responsibilities in resolving the problem, which they didn't. You will then be left alone and have to deal with customer service via phone, which is also terrible. Can't seem to find a reason to go to this store again or recommend it to anyone. read more

Easiest purchase ever. Last time I bought a phone I couldn't wait to leave the store. (Different location) I felt stupid asking questions and uncomfortable with the salesman's pushy attitude. This time it went well. The saleswoman was knowledgeable and pleasant. She took the time to explain the difference in technology between the old and new and everything I needed to know about my purchase. Easy street parking and free spots behind the building. I went to the store to seek reimbursement for an expense I incurred at the direction of ATT customer service. I submitted my receipts and was assured the store manager, David, would follow up with me and resolve the issue. I never received a phone call nor any follow up despite their promises, and the issues are still unresolved. Total waste of time and an enormous waste of money. I'm still battling with ATT to receive reimbursement. My store experience is typical of my total experience with ATT. After many years of being a customer, I will be transferring my service to a new provider. read more

My husband and I went in to get a new phone. The AT&T rep said that my husband's card was declined. So we called the bank. The bank cleared the fraud alert and we tried it again. This happened 3 more times before my husband decided to use his debit card that went through with no issue. When we called AT&T to discuss the matter they said that stores like this one are an authorized user, not an actual AT&T store. We then called the store and were told by the Supervisor that their operating system doesn't take B Of A visa, Chase Visa or AMEX even though they have a sticker on their door that says they take major credit cards. I find it highly suspect that the Chase debit card went through the first time but not the credit card. The supervisor also said he would have to write up a ticket and "actually do some work" to get this resolved which by his tone he had no intention of doing. We will not be back and I warn customers to be very careful with this store and their payment methods because actual AT&T stores do accept all forms of payment including VISA credit cards from Banks. read more
