I came in cuz my idiot self dropped my phone in water so I wanted an upgrade. I was told I needed to be a "Authorized User" on the account in apart of and it was an arduous process that I couldn't complete in 4 hours; dealing with online chat operators or incompetent phone operators. I came in when the store opened; 10 AM and was seen right from the get go by Journee. Her customer service skills are amazing I recommend her to everyone. ANYWHO she asked me why I came in and I told her and she said you need to be an authorized user so I'm gonna make you an appointment for later so you don't have to Stay in line. I come back in with my mom (an authorized user) and a simple look at the ID and a few taps on an iPad and BOOM I'm authorized. She not only solved my problem in a matter of seconds but then allowed my mother to go out and get food cuz she hadn't eaten all day. Then we talked business. I came in for a simple phone upgrade but walked away with so much more (an iPad and a watch) because I was unaware of the added bonuses that come with buying a new phone, not sure if Journee was just taking advantage of my disposition or the fact I actually wanted all this but at the end of the day I'm happy. They wanted me to sit there and wait while others were doing other things to their phone. They need someone to simply just ring people up. Then I was recorded by a worker (middle eastern dude) I was sitting in my car with my two little children while my husband was handling sim fraud from a employee. I asked the worker if he was recording me and the group of 5 standing around him said "we wouldn't do that". Okay then why did I catch you recording me and my two kids? I have been a loyal client of AT&T for 16 years and very happy with their customer service. It'll be two weeks tomorrow that I came in with my boyfriend because I was looking to upgrade my 16gb iPhone 6. Yes, I know that 16gb don't exist anymore and I know I should have just waited for the new iPhone that is coming out in three months but I couldn't wait anymore. The pain of always having to upload pictures to your computer cause your phone doesn't have enough memory was literally killing me every other day. So I came in to buy a new phone and came out with an iPhone 7 Plus, a popsocket, and a pink case. This review is specifically for Journee because I think she's such a great salesperson and I will definitely look for her when I purchase my next iPhone. Journee greeted me at the door, asked me what I was looking for, and immediately delivered to my needs. She knew how to up sell me by not just bringing out my iPhone 7 Plus in pink but also brought out a pink watch, iPad, phone case, and popsockets. She noticed that my previous case on my iPhone 6 was decked out in gold glitter and found the perfect pink glitter case for me with a matching popsocket. She's great! Unfortunately I didn't buy the iPad cause I already had one or the watch but she was great to work with. Thanks Journee! I walked into this store yesterday already frustrated. In April we went into the Milpitas McCartney store to add a line. A guy named Brandon sold us on their unlimited plan if we add DIRECTV, and suffice to say it was the worst thing that he could have done. After 4 installations, where I would come in every weekend to open up my office to the techs, DIRECTV was finally installed in our office. I thought great! NOPE! That was the beginning of 8 months of hell, where every month I had to call AT&T customer service because every month I would get the text saying that my unlimited is going to be cancelled, every time I called someone would give me a reason, either the address needs to be the same, the billing is not combined, the name is wrong, etc. after an hour or two on the phone. They would assure me it's fixed, you will NEVER have to call in about this. The same text would arrive the next month, and so I would call in again! 8 months of this was bad enough, then in December it got worse.They started adding overage packs at $15 a piece every day! Total of $195 on top of the $363 I paid every month!! There is so much more, but suffice to say, yesterday I was ready to leave AT&T after 11 years of being with them, but Allison the manager of the Vallejo along with her other team member Raymond found the problem in 10 minutes that no one could pinpoint in 8 months! Not only did Allison find the problem, she found a way to fix it, even though 8 supervisors on the AT&T helpline could not fix it!! She stayed calm through my ranting and stayed composed as I vented my sheer frustration about the whole situation. I just want to say THANK YOU Allison for everything. It's very hard to believe this AT&T Store has a 3 STAR Yelp Rating......!!!! I have to commend the outstanding customer service I received from Andrew Ortega. He went above and beyond for me to get the best possible family plan and DIRECT TV bundle on my bill. He explained thoroughly the detailed old charges vs. the new charges. Andrew basically was watching out for my best interest. The approach he had was low pressure and no upsell. WHY??? The products sell themselves. All you have to do is let Andrew know what you want.................THAT'S IT. LOL. Well my husband signed up for the first responder first net deal and was completely SCAMMED. They made him sign up for two new lines instead of using our two lines we have which we confirmed from first new and another At&T store they scammed us for commission, and on top of it none of the two new lines worked and when he went to cancel they said all was cancelled. Then a bill showed up for $160 and the manager Ali said he'd cancel it all and call us back. Never did. So my husband kept getting these Bill notifications and just paid it to make it go away. Today another Bill shows up for a month of not using the service or having the service so I call first net and had to go to an AT&T store to set up a pin to cancel the service and the rep there goes they scammed you.you can sign up with existing accounts and we had to call and cancel and are out $160 dollars because this location didn't cancel like they stated. read more

Upgraded my phone via the app everything kept reverting to the account holders name no biggie I am an authorized user. Every email I got say any authorized user can pick up this order. I go to pick up the order and I am told no. I said but I have 3 emails saying I can they didn't care. They didn't even check to see if I was an authorized user. After waiting 15 minutes for the manager who was nothing but rude and racist towards me I left without a phone. Still have all the emails saying an authorized user can pick up the order. Juan was friendly and courteous and took the time to literally 'pencil out' what my plan provided me and compared it to a new plan. He made the decison-making process clear. He explained what has brought about the savings opportunities and didn't try to over-sell me at anytime! I have not written a review in a while, but the extreme rudeness of Manager Kevin Cadinha was all the motivation I needed to pick up the pen once again. I am an IT professional and AT&T is one of our main vendors for internet, phone and wireless services, but after my interaction with Kevin, I am strongly thinking about moving our Enterprise account to another wireless service. The problems began when I tried to get my phone replaced due to a faulty screen. The sales associate I was working with was more than happy to help and pulled out a replacement phone for me to look at, but we found that this phone also had a defect. Since all phones had the screen defect I decided to get a refund and wait a few more months for the phone manufacture to fix the problem with the model. Everything with the refund was going smoothly, but then I was informed that I would be charged a $35 fee for restocking. I totally understand charging this fee if I didn't like the phone and simply wanted to return it, but when the phone has a flawed screen, I think I should get a full refund, but Kevin was not having it. After this failure to get a refund, I called Enterprise services and tried to get the charge reversed, but they couldn't even Kevin to budge. So at the end of the day, I have no new phone and a $35 charge. Thanks, Kevin, I hope you are happy, you got $35.00 but lost thousands of recurring revenue for your company because we are dropping AT&T for business services because of your actions, Bravo! read more

I didn't actually visit this place, so my review is based on a couple of phone calls I made to their store. On two separate occasions, I called about exchanging a phone I bought at another store. They were polite when they answered the phone, but as soon as I got into the conversion about exchanging a phone I bought at another store, their polite attitude quickly did a 180. This AT&T store is pretty awesome. When we walked in there was a lot of workers that is waiting to take care of you. We dealt with Chris and he helped us with all of our questions and concerns. Edgar the manager even sat down with us and helped Chris assist us with some of our questions. I asked The manager how many customer service reps works here and he mentioned 22 sales team, whoa! That's a lot. Maybe they changed it around due to the other reviews on Yelp regarding their wait time. Overall our experience was nice and Kudos to Chris for a great customer service! Had great service from Tawn in setting up the phone and deciding on a service plan. I went in on Mother's Day and the place was packed with customers but they had about a dozen staff and I only waited a few minutes. Excellent Management. I bought my dream phone a Pixel 4 XL and received good service and purchased the insurance for the phone that allowed the screen to be replaced for a $29 copay if it were cracked. The next day it looked like there was a hair stuck to my screen which I realized later was a crack. Long story short after being sent to the Concord store to fix my screen they informed me they don't fix Google phones and I needed to call the insurance and file a claim that way and they would do it by mail. After a 2 hour runaround on the phone where they tried to do everything from sell me a new phone line or charge me $400 for a new phone with the warranty I finally got through to the insurance and they told me they don't fix the screens of these phones but for $150 they will replace the phone. Now the main reason this is problematic other than the fact that this is not the $29 fix I was signing up for it won't have my phone replaced in time for me to exchange it within the 14-day grace period.you see when I bought my phone they didn't actually have the one I wanted in stock so I settled for the '64 GB so that my salesman wouldn't have to split the commission with anyone and then I planned on exchanging it for the 128, now that's out the window because they won't let me exchange the phone with a crack on the screen and they won't fix the crack unless I give them $150. They say no good deed goes unpunished and that's certainly true at AT&t where they know you can't do anything about it so they get to treat you like a piece of garbage at every turn, I very rarely leave one star reviews on anything but since this is literally the only thing in my power to do I'm going to do at least that since all the other things I would like to do would put me in jail. read more

Daniel clearly broke down my options; gave a professional opinion on what I should do--none of that pushy salesman approach. Much appreciated!
