However, I thought I'd give Verizon Prepaid a try after purchasing a new iPhone SE. Yesterday, I went to the Verizon store in Mentor, OH to get established as a new customer and activate my new phone. I waited over 45 minutes, as I didn't have an appointment. I left feeling extremely frustrated by the rude and unhelpful staff and I didn't get my phone activated. I thought Verizon would give better service. I couldn't have been more wrong. I found Wireless Connect through the PagePlus website. This morning, I visited Wireless Connect and was completely impressed. A staff member transferred my SIM card from my old phone to the new one and had me connected to PagePlus within minutes. There was no wait. Also, I could have gotten Verizon PrePaid through them as well, and they offer many choices. They also sell phones and accessories too. I'm glad that I have such a great place to go for my cell phone needs.

But overall we got it. Then I realized my data wasn't turned on and had to go back this morning and it took them 5 minutes to fix that problem. The woman was on her way out on break and stopped to help me so I didn't have to wait in line!! Technology is always trouble, but their staff is on point and incredibly appreciated.

After an hour wait plus some Cody set up our new plan which wasn't the best but we needed atleast 1 new phone upgrade so it is what it is. They didn't have the phone we went there for so they had to order it...annoying but again it is what it is. Cody said it would be at my house in 2 days. Fedex tried to deliver it and I didn't realize I had to sign for it but that makes since given the amount of the phone. I left a signed slip to leave it the next day..fedex lied and said they came when I know for a fact they did not..so I called and they said no problem they would leave it the next day....they did not just put another note next to my signed one!!! I had to drive to Bedford to get it. I go in to have it activated like Cody told me to do and I wait again over 35 minutes when I was told 25. Just to activate a phone that should have been in stock. OK the man with a thick accent (didn't get his name)but seemed like he had some management authorities finally helped me when I told him I was getting frustrated...I was finally leaving and done..I thought until I seen the next day I had no data. I went back and they tried to tell me I had to wait AGAIN. 2 people ahead of me. I said I'm not waiting and I saw this girl whom I knew was the manager because Cody rudely said he would be back in the middle of helping us to go say hi to his manager Alexa came in with her child. These guys were the only ones who would even look at an iPod: evidently these screens are much harder to replace than on a phone. They got it done and completely stand behind their work. My daughter had to pay it with her own money and when he saw she used a $2 bill, he wouldn't take it and told her to keep it. Kind and thoughtful as well. I will use them again!
