11.14.23 This review is way over due. We purchased a home (in the country) that needed to have 2 bathrooms remodeled and the kitchen too. Also the laundry room needed new flooring. We hired At Home Expert (AHE) to do the remodeling to both bathrooms. Also to do the tile and backsplash in the kitchen. (Laundry room too). We did not have AHE do the cabinets but, I wish I would have hired them for that as well. At the time I did not know AHE did cabinets as well. They do it ALL! I went to the AHE showroom and met with Evan Rousan. We have used Evan R. before on a different home and he did an EXCELLENT job on it , so why use someone else. Plus, he is just a really nice man! Evan helped me design my 2 bathrooms and pick out great back splash and flooring for the house. I had a budget set in my mind and he helped me stay on it. Evan also gave me some advice on what would look good & what would not. I really appreciate that! He was not just trying to make a sale. The tile selection at the showroom was fantastic, just what I was wanting. While Evan's crew was doing all the work at our house, we decided to have them paint almost all of the inside of the house and paint the fireplace. (I love how the fireplace and mantel came out!) When we have other projects we will definitely check with AHE first. read more

Bottom line up front: this company will take good care of you until you've paid them. After that, good luck getting them to complete anything else that is their responsibility. Make sure everything is complete and cleaned up before payment. We were in a tough situation with a subfloor repair needed. Evan and his team were prompt and fixed the problem. However, they left concrete spills in our garage and they left materials for the floor install (planks, baseboard, and quarter round) in the garage. Prior to their arriving, we had arranged to have these inside. No one in my house can lift these materials. I messaged Evan several times about this and that we are unable to move the materials his team moved outside. He came back and moved the planks but after several promises of "someone will come between this time and this time" no one moved the other materials inside or came to clean up the concrete mess they left in our garage. To me, a job is done when you leave a place the way you found it - materials inside and a clean space. I had planned to use At Home Expert for some tile work I need done within the next year and recommend them to others, but I will not be doing either after this experience. read more

We worked with Shane to renovate our floor. He was easy to work with, the prices were the best of the quotes we got. They communicated well, his crews came out and did excellent work and he kept us in the loop the entire time. Highly recommend and will be using them for future projects read more

We had our existing carpet removed and wood look porcelain tile installed by At Home Expert. I first found At Home Expert through Yelp and talked with Solomen. I gave him a detailed request on tile installation and gave me a quote for carpet instead. We went ahead and had home consultation, and that is where we met Evan. He was very polite, gave us a new estimate, which was more on par with what we were expecting. It definitely was not the lowest in the market but we were very impressed with one of the samples and decided to go with At Home Expert. Evan worked with the manufacturer to give us a reasonable price range on the tiles. The crew was great, though they never gave us a heads up on what time they would arrive. There were few times where I left work to let the crew in, and they arrived half an hour later than the time frame they gave me. I brought this up to Evan and he said for future projects, he will make sure there is more communication between the crew and the homeowner. Other than the schedule issues, the crew was polite and did everything well. We are very happy with our tile installation and would definitely recommend At Home Expert. read more

Even though they advertise "We have a no hassle 100% complimentary in-home consultation" It's anything but no hassle. Sales guy tried to use strong arm tactics. When I asked him if this was a free estimate even if I was not willing to commit to signing a contract at the end, he said NO. Absolutely terrible way to do business! read more

I'm very impressed by their professionalism and work. I got a few quotes from several contractors and they're all the same range, but Evan and his team were $40 lower so I knew we weren't being robbed. I have no affiliation with this company other than using them for my flooring project. I say that to say this; I just witnessed the BEST CONFLICT RESOLUTION between customer (myself) and a business. Not going into much detail; Day 2 of project there was an unknown factor that surfaced and I will admit, I didn't handle the situation as I should (no disrespect or anything) just emotionally tired. Nevertheless, I called my POC Oscar and not only did he jump in his vehicle (providing ETA of his arrival time) he jumped in job, started working and found the issue. And this gentleman did not change his professionalism nor promise...Because he got it done as previously discussed prior to signing up to do business with them!!!
