I am the type that likes to drum up conversation and learn about businesses. I remember at the time that I was treated rather coldly by the staff. I searched through reviews back then and found several comments about how aloof their staff appeared to other customers. Flash forward to today. I follow Cirque du Sucre on Facebook and Instagram. Weeks ago, they announced that they were selling their French macaron ice cream sandwiches today. I put it on my calendar. Three of us take an hour out of our day to drive to the truck to find that they are not holding the event. Also, when I reach out to them they claim they posted it on their site. Well, not on the two sites, I follow them on! Apparently they mismanage 4 social media sites and posted on one of Mulberry & Mott's sites but didn't think enough to cross post for the 2,000 that follow them on Instagram or the 1,223 that follow them on Facebook. To add another layer to this poor customer service. I had talked up this event to my son. He was disappointed and under stress with the school year starting, homework and managing his part-time job. He gave them some feedback and, well, look in the pictures to judge for yourself...do you want to do business with people who treat their customer base like this? Their response to my son is ironic and, while maybe the had a legit reason for cancelling, their unprofessionalism handling this means I am done!

I ordered the Bourbon Glaze burger and upgraded the fries to add bacon and queso. My husband ordered the spicy avocado burger and also upgraded the fries. My burger was well cooked and seasoned and the bourbon glaze added a hit of sweetness. My only complaint is that the glaze is on the thinner side so my bun was pretty soggy by the time we got home and the glaze is the only wet condiment on the burger, so I ended up adding some mayo. The fries were crispy and salted well and the bacon and queso were great with them. I didn't get to try my husband's burgers, but he said it was delicious and he really liked the cilantro aioli on it. We'll have to give their brick and mortar location a go soon.

The menu is fantastic -- so many great options to choose from. We went all out and tried the spinach enchiladas, the Mexico Lindo special, sizzling fajitas, a burrito, and of course some tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious. We also started with some appetizers -- fresh guacamole, their new birria Mexican pizza (a must-try!), and some creamy queso dip. To wash it all down, we tried a few of their amazing cocktails, including a super cool black margarita. On top of the great food and drinks, the service was fantastic and the staff was super friendly. They even have a fun burrito challenge if you're feeling brave!
