I tried the Burnt end sandwich with the fried jalapeño Mac N Cheese bites. The sandwich was a good size with plenty of meat. Meat had a good bark and good flavor. Fried Jalapeño bites were super tasty, only problem was you wanted more!!

Nestled on the end of the Old Mill, is Quentin's BBQ. They have a large menu, but my favorite thing they have is the jalapeno and cheddar sausage sandwich. Their bbq beans have meat in them as well and are filling and delicious. Even as good as their food is, extra benefit of having multiple businesses in the same building (brewery, coffee/cocktails, ice cream, golf simulator, etc) and inside and outside seating complete with lawn games, gives this business a nudge ahead of the rest. They have great specials as well too!

A great spot to grab so bbq! Burnt ends: My husbands favorite- they were very flavorful, KC classic! Pulled pork: my favorite, so juicy and delicious! Turkey: really good as well, for a leaner meat out of the options it was fabulous, but I couldn't keep my fork out of the pulled pork. Cheese pizza: Order for the kids, and they enjoyed it! Love the versatility of this location. My kids ran outside for a bit after eating lunch, and we grabbed some Ice Cream from Old Mills on our way out.

Move over McD's--there's a new rib sandwich sheriff in town, and it's packing flavor like it's going out of style. This was a two-meal sandwich, and I say that as both a compliment and a warning: come hungry or bring Tupperware. The place itself? Adorable! It's got that charming "local gem" vibe inside and out--think cozy booths and friendly staff. I stopped by for a taste test ahead of booking my daughter's rehearsal dinner here, and I'm glad I did. The private area looks perfect for a celebration, and the sandwich alone sealed the deal. Saucy, meaty, and built like it had something to prove--this was a solid 4-star sandwich. Looking forward to coming back with the whole crew. If the rest of the menu holds up like this rib beast, we're in for one tasty evening!

Service was great, location was unique. Stopped by for an event on the other side of the building. The tacos were puffy but there was not enough filling, the sauce was good . I did not get a strong flavor from the feta or the pork. 2/5 The onion rings had good batter and crunch but the quantity was lacking. 3/5 The fried mushrooms had a nich crunch and a tasty batter with a decent amount. 3/5 It was a nice place and a good server experience.

About a week and a half ago, my husband and I came next door to check out a coffee shop and it was a miss, so we decided since we came out during lunch time to at least make this place a go. It was decent as far as a pulled pork sandwich went. I had mine with a bit of sausage. The only issue we both had was with the sauce. It was a bit too sour for me, maybe a bit too much vinegar? The onion rings were good and the beans were okay as well. The service was curt and to the point. If you are hungry and on the outskirts of K.C. it's a good alternative to McDonalds. However, there are better BBQ places in our famed BBQ city. We did enjoy eating outside, during one of our late fall days, and it was fortunate that it wasn't too windy.

I heard a rumor about a bbq shack that was built near a brewery in a grain elevator-themed small town strip mall, so I had to check it out. It's true. You can order bbq, walk inside the neighboring brewery, order a beer and make yourself at home. The cue is well smoked, though a hair dry. Sauces are solid. Like other restaurants, the basic sauce was a little thick and sweet for my tastes, so I switched to the hot sauce, which is more my style. It gave a good kick, but didn't overpower. Ribs, sandwiches and sides are served in nice-sized portions. Prices are a tad on the high side, but not outrageous. My ribs and two sides (the restaurant let me keep the third side in the photo because they made it by accident and didn't want to throw it away) were roughly $22 plus tip (September 2022.) Staff is polite and helpful.

We were out and about in Bonner springs and looking for good food. We found this huge old train depot / BBQ joint / ice cream shop / beer hall! Huge parking lot. Cool country decor. Super popular with the locals. What a neat cool place! The food - we ordered a brisket sandwich, Cole slaw, burnt ends, 0nion rings, and a carrot cake for dessert! It was all amazing!

To start, I'm going to have to give this place another try. Order early because they do sell out. I made the mistake of wandering around all of the business and breweries that are located right next door and by the time I made it back around, everything that I wanted to try was sold out. So that was my mistake and I won't be repeating it. We ended up trying the turkey, burnt ends, and pulled pork. The burnt ends were fabulous. Big and juicy. The turkey was good. It was a bit dry but it's turkey so that's to be expected. The pulled pork was average. The turkey was on a sandwich and I added cheese to it. The cheese was good but the consistency was globby. I did take it home so it may be better if you eat it there. I probably won't add cheese again. So on Friday's they have crinkle cut fries. They ran out of those so I ended up with the regular ones. They were good and reminded me of McDonald's fries. The cheesy corn was really good. It was the special and I would order it again if they had it. My partner tried the beans. I did not because I thought they looked weird. It was a pretty pale concoction. He described it as eating "baked beans from a can with a bunch of meat dumped in." They have three sauces: original, hot, and sweet. Neither of us cared for the original. It was weird. Like ketchup. The hot was good. It was hot but it has a nice flavor. The sweet was great as a dipping sauce for the fries.

The pulled pork sandwich ($8.00) was absolutely delicious, and one of the best I've ever had. It stood 3" tall, with plenty of moist, very tasty meat on a lightly toasted bun, while the side of beans ($3.00) was okay. Three sauces were available: spicy, original and sweet. My order was brought to my table (inside) on a covered platter just eight minutes after I ordered at the window (outside). The young lady taking orders was somewhat glum, but everyone else was helpful, especially the pit master, who stopped by for a satisfaction check. I found the dining area to be clean and nice with TVs and cool background music. The dining area was connected to the adjacent Ten & Two Coffee Bar, which offered a variety of beverages including cocktails. I also noticed a covered area outside the adjacent Ten & Two Coffee Bar with cornhole games. Lunch specials, pickles and one meat plates with sides would be good additions. Overall, very nice!

We just loved this Bbq spot. The brisket was tender and moist with so much flavor. Can't wait to try it again.

Nice atmosphere. Burnt ends bbq sandwich was underwhelming and bbq sauce a bit too tangy.

I was pleasantly surprised to come across Blind Box, which offered a quick and casual experience which such friendly service from the cashier. It is located within a bigger furniture store, yet conveniently located near the entrance with open seating. I ordered the Podium Platter which was prime beef burnt ends and brisket, along with a side which we chose the cheesy corn bake. Absolutely delicious and all were so tender. The brisket was easily pulled apart and the brisket was just melt in your mouth. The cost of the plate was reasonable at $15, and was enough to share between me and my partner. I highly recommend for anyone nearby looking for a casual yet filling and solid food spot!

I ordered the three rib plate, which include included burnt ends, and smoked sausage. I also had mac & cheese and a cornbread muffin as a side. The ribs were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The burnt ends had a good smoke flavor and we're very tender, but we're cold. The sausage was also a bit cold. The mac & cheese was cold and so the consistency was gummy. To be fair, I arrived close to 7 PM. I would come back and try it earlier in the night and would want to try some of the other offerings they have, because you can tell they do a good job with cooking their barbecue

Knowing that Cheeseburger In Paradise was there before, they did a good gob of re-working the area. It was laid out really well. The food we picked was really, but my main complaint was that we had to ask multiple times about the other items we had "ordered"...and they still forgot items like onions, pineapple, etc. The kimchi was good. But not the best in the city. I'd come here again but this was like $190 for 4 people. That's bbq and hot pot, an extra charge plus 4 Thai teas. I can do better at Choga and spend less. This WAS really good...just expensive.

Finally someone came over and turned the heat up. The process is time consuming. You definitely need some time. The restaurant is clean and it was nice to have a table for two. I'm not sure if they have a restroom or not but eating here can be a little challenging. They tried to set up a little handwash station but it froze over. I recommend bringing your own handwipes or something. I got the two meat plate with turkey and rib tips and a side of sausage and baked beans. Which is fine if you're a local and can come whenever you want. but yeah idk. The rib tips honestly were a little cold and hard with not that much meat.
