After calling around to a couple of places and being told a number of times I could only get the work done at a dealer, Continental Transmission was able to quote me with a slightly lower rate for my car. Having been recommended to this shop by some friends I decided to go with them! To replace it they needed to tow my car to the dealer only to reprogram it, but overall they were able to get the job done at a lower rate than it would have been had I tried to take my car anywhere else. To that I am very grateful! It took about a week or so for them to get all of the work done. They called me when the work was finished and now my car is running the way it should be! The staff here was very friendly, they were straightforward with informing me of all of the things they had done to my car. No gender bias at all! I would definitely recommend this shop for any kind of serious transmission work.

The voice on the phone was extremely pleasant and said the best she could do was Monday at 12:30 I said ok. She said if you can come in early sometimes we can get you right away. Monday came. I did as she said. Was welcomed by a very pleasant man. Told where to pull my car. I got out and soon , like 5 mins my car was getting inspected. The mechanics were pleasant and didn't try to upsale anything and just did the inspect . It passed and I was out before my 12:30 time. I paid and I would be recommending their business. So if you want to be treated like a moron, go anyplace but Wielands. Because here you're gonna be treated with respect and know that you vehicle is going to be treated with utmost care. I've had a myriad of problems with my vehicle -all of which were not correctly rectified by the service department. From Control arms to sensors they never knew what they were doing. They ordered things incorrectly, parts got lost, incorrect parts ordered, delay, delay, delay, after delay. Glenroy in the service department really doesn't understand what's going on. I spoke with the owner Peter Delacy many times and though he tried his best -his dealership is run by incompetence. When I finally got my car back, they did not charge me, which was wonderful. However, not three hours after I drove off the lot, my AC condenser broke. Coincidence - I think not. The AC condenser was not the problem. I brought the car in for. I took it to my AC guy- he said that it looked like my AC condenser was tampered with. Now I don't know whether the service department here at this dealership did that- because they ate so much money fixing my vehicle?? You know I can't tell. But I will never set foot in that dealership again and I don't think you should either. Be aware, and BEWARE.

Let me start by saying, for the better part of 10 years, I was DeLacy's biggest cheerleader…read more Sadly, no more. My car died on the road and I had it towed to DeLacy Ford Elma. I didn't hear anything - or receive a return call for three days. After having my partner stop in and ask what was going on, we were told they had found that they needed my second key fob to "finish their diagnostics". They apparently knew this for 2 or 3 days, but no one ever called to tell me. This was on a Saturday. So, if we hadn't stopped in it would have been Monday until we heard anything - if then. When we arrived there, the gate was open and my car was sitting unlocked. Anyone could have gone in and taken or destroyed anything they wanted - seeing as no one questioned us when we drove right into the gate and up to the car. Upon entering the dealership, the first thing I was told was that no one knew what was going on. They called someone and I was told I needed a new key fob. (almost $400) Then they said I needed to replace the relay (for the antitheft system) They said that's why I needed a new key. Not true. They Could have replaced the relay ($119) and reprogramed the current keys to communicate with it. I was told this (after the fact) by 3 other mechanics and looked it up online as well. I called every single day from the second day the car was there, but no one ever returned any calls. So, what could I do? They had my car and, so far, a bill for $200 so - Once I gave the ok to order the (unnecessary) key and install the relay, I didn't hear anything for 2 more days. Even though I was told I'd get a call "later that day". When I Did finally get hold of someone, 2 days later, she told me the car had been done the day I was waiting for the return call. By now it was later on a Saturday, So I had to wait until Monday to get my car. It's not running as smoothly as it used to (seems to want to die every time I slow down) But I no longer trust DeLacy Ford. I feel they charged me for a key I didn't need. I also feel their lack of communication, poor service and (to put it kindly) less than completely truthful behavior calls the trustworthiness of this dealership in serious doubt. Quite a turn-around from their previous service.
