I called several plumbing companies, and Joe from Atech was the only one who called me back. Not only did he call me, but he actually spent time walking me through the steps to turn off my water from the main shutoff. I wasn't able to turn it off by myself, so he suggested to go buy a t wrench from Home Depot. He then sent me a picture of what tool I needed. I called Atech during the Polar Vortex after a couple of our faucets stopped working. We were freaking out because we had literally just moved into our brand new home the day before the ice hit. We envisioned our pipes busting and flooding our beautiful new home. I had a water leak in the front of my house and needed help quickly. I called 4 different plumbers and had one stop by (Large corp company). They quoted me $7K+ to fix the issue and laid out a plan that looked much bigger than the leak. Luckily one of the other plumbers I had called, ALTECH, called me back and cautioned me on the large quote. His crew came out the next day looked at the issue and quoted me 90% less than the other. They actually had the leak identified and plan to correct it within a 1/2 hour. His crew could not have been more informative. They were also very nice and respectful. Joe and his crew were awesome to work with on a recent job I had re- plumbing the lines in my kitchen for a remodeling job. The job was difficult as they had to jack hammer the foundation for the re-routing of the lines. His crew did such an amazing job carefully working around the rebars and tension cables as if they were working in their own home. They are knowledgeable, professional and leave the job site very clean upon completion. We were one of thousands in central Texas with severe damage during the recent freeze. We must have called a dozen plumbers trying to find someone that would actually take our call. Joe and Atech were incredibly responsive and very empathetic to our situation. When there was a rush on tankless water heaters, Joe proactively secured a massive shipment of them to make sure his customers weren't left hanging or being ripped off. Fantastic service! Had a cracked pipe coupling between the house and the well pressure tank. I thought it would take most of the day and a lot of digging to find it and or bypass the break. Called them at 7 AM, Joe said he'd have somebody there around 8:30. Nick got here about 8:35, understood the problem and went to work. He pinpointed the break and had it fixed in about 2 and a half hours. That's including re-burying the pipe. Great job, and very reasonable. Highly recommended. Called and talked to Joe to ask about prepping outside spigots for upcoming cold spell. He recommended covering with styrofoam bib and making sure to leave inside faucets dripping. He further explained that this allows the pressure to escape the pipe when ice does form which should keep from busting the pipes.
