Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food was out of this world. I think it's the best meal I've had in Dallas. The ambience is incredible. You can shop the art on the wall as you eat from an easy QR code. The chef and owner came by and spoke with us. He was so awesome! Cannot wait to come back

Amazing date night. It gives a bit "hole in the wall" vibes as it blends in with the neighboring shops but inside is a stunning art gallery and open bar to seating concept. Our waitress was great. The cocktail menu was innovative and food menu rotates.. everything was delicious

Came with a friend for dinner, on a Friday night, and we had an enjoyable time although the food wasn't as expected. First, parking is pretty open you'll just have to find a spot (and it was free for the evening). Upon entering, we were greeted immediately and seated. Our waitress was amazing! She was attentive and made recommendations. I ordered a cocktail off the menu - raspberry lemon drop (made with gin) and the bartender did his thing! The drink was delicious and had a nice balance between sweet and sour. As far as the food, we ordered a few different options to start us off - roasted cabbage, shrimp, and pork belly. I thoroughly enjoyed the cabbage and liked the spicy kick. The shrimp took me off guard as I thought it would've been head on and didn't too much care for the sauce. The pork belly had deep flavor but was very fatty. We ordered the 2 pastas - bolognese and cacio e pepe - and while they could've had more flavor, the cacio e pepe was the better one of the 2. Overall, the ambience was nice and service excellent but the food did fall short.

Atelie has been a must in my list for 2026. The space is gorgeous with amazing art and moody lighting. We came on wine Wednesday where they have bottles at a discounted price and very reasonable. The menu is seasonal and can change on the season but we tried some of the mains. My must haves would be, the cabbage, croquettes, half chicken, and cacio a Pepe. Our server was so knowledgeable and a great help to making our choices. You can tell they very much function as a team and work together to deliver a great experience. Can't wait to try anything else we missed!

Wow! What a wonderful dining experience in Bishop Arts! Stepping into the restaurant takes you into what feels like a trendy, warm and inviting art gallery. The service is attentive and personable. The food presentation is wonderful and tastes as delicious as it looks. We started with the roasted cabbage-loved the sweet taste of pear, pork belly-the burnt apple butter, may have been our fave dish, and fried rice-unbelievably flavorful. Our server had great suggestions for wine pairings with each course. All the dishes are served family style with the courses paced well. We also had the waygu bolognese and half roasted chicken-chicken was so tender and delish, and ended with the matcha cheesecake-a different take on cheesecake and highly recommend. The space and ambience feels intimate yet lively, the art is beautiful and I love that there is private dining room in the back for larger parties. We highly recommend giving Ateliê a try, and can't wait to come back soon with some friends!

This restaurant has been on my list of places to try for a while and I finally got to try it recently. I absolutely loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It felt like I was in Brooklyn which I love. Our server was very attentive and the food was so delicious!! I was pleasantly surprised. I don't typically like to have high hopes when I'm trying a new restaurant, but this place exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to visit again, and I highly recommend checking this restaurant out!

We had only about 24 hours in Dallas so decided to grab dinner here as an early birthday celebration with friends and family. We were greeted and sat promptly even though they had full house on their hands. The restaurant is low lit, with art on almost every wall leaving you with plenty to talk about. We were also very delighted to have a chat with the curator of the space! We had a pretty good waiter, unfortunately I do not recall their name. But they were attentive and kind! There were 4 of us so we did order quite a bit off the menu to share. The biggest theme that we noticed is that most of the food items flavor profile were great, but the finish/cooking technique was a let down. The wagyu pastrami melt tasted good, but I was not a fan of the thickness of the bread. If just a fraction of thickness was removed I would give it a 9/10. The roasted cabbage was probably one of the top dishes of the night. It has a little bite to it, but it was really good otherwise. The roasted carrots weren't anything like described to us! "Candied" was used and that was far from the case, they were largely chopped and underwhelming. The fried rice has everything going for it, except our batch was undercooked? The rice was pretty hard but if done right, would be a 100/10. The Wagyu skirt steak was buttery but at the same time was bland, even with the salsa. The fellas didn't care to finish. The half roasted chicken was the only other top dish of the night for what it's worth. While I found it a bit dry, they sure do know how to season their food! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the low tuned in the background and just being able to eat and yap comfortably! We could see ourselves returning, but no rush.

I first came here for a run club event and had the BEST frittata, so I've been wanting to come back for dinner and wow, it did not disappoint. I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was incredible. Super simple, but packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The cabbage honestly stole the show for me. It was so delicious, with amazing flavor, and paired so well with the pear. Such a unique dish and I completely cleaned my plate. The service was just as impressive. Everyone was so kind, and I even got to meet the chef, who was incredibly friendly. I also love the whole concept of combining an art gallery with the restaurant. It makes the experience feel really special and different. For dessert, I had the strawberry matcha cheesecake, and it was beautifully done with a deconstructed presentation. The perfect "treat yourself" ending to the meal. Overall, such an amazing experience. I'll definitely be recommending this spot to all my friends!

The appetizers were amazing but I was a bit caught off guard when the entree for the person I was with came out and mine didn't. I thought it was coming and then the waitress brought the check? I ordered the bolognese and never received my meal. I was definitely hangry after that. The waitress read back the order to us, so not understanding how my entire entree was missed. That was extremely disappointing. Only upside is we were paying with inkind and due to the app having issues they gave us 50% off our meal. I would come back for sure, I understand it's a new place.

Excellent service! We had a party of 7, and Daisha Board came to our table. She spoke about the gallery in Dallas and in Charlotte. We were very impressed by the art around us inside the restaurant. The food and drinks were spectacular!

This experience was phenomenal. I tried a few things on the menu. Their pasta was delicious--probably the best Bolognese I've had in Dallas. The chef in the interior designer came up and was extremely pleasant, sharing some of the events that they have going on, which made us feel at home. I could easily see myself becoming a regular here and definitely recommending it. This is easily one of the top restaurants in Dallas.

I went for brunch on a Saturday. They were partnering with Run it Dallas that day. The menu was very limited and they didn't have sides for the entrees which I didn't like. How do you offer French toast with no option for eggs or bacon. Anyway I got the potato frittata which came with dressed lettuce. It was absolutely delicious. I opted for the bottomless mimosas. Which I love that they let you share. They bring a carafe and refill once empty. I don't know what kind of bubbles they use, but all I got to say is take an uber or have DD. My husband got the steak frites and said it was good. I do recommend this place just know the menu is limited. Oh they had a DJ. The music was good, but a little loud. There weren't many of us in there.

New restaurant in oak cliff with prior Michelin restaurant chef! Their food is delicious. They are fairly new so it gets busy and service can be a little slow but this is a tasty spot worth trying with very cool art and good prices. They have a hot Cheeto martini too which I didn't have the chance to try but will be going back! The must haves- Wagyu bolognese and cacio pepe!!! The cabbage was a delicious app to start. I also tried the skirt steak and heard the Mackerel was a must try too.

Come to find out - this place is actually the "Bishop Arts Winery," and only opened up a restaurant a couple months ago! We arrived at 7, and we were the only guests there for an hour as the musician set up to play. By the time 8:15 rolled around, the music was in full swing and the 7-10 tables were all occupied by old couples, groups of friends, and even a family with 3 young kids! Although the space itself is small, it wasn't claustrophobic at all - it was homey and nice. Not too loud either. The ambience was very romantic; I loved the interior decorations that made it feel like little Italy and home all at the same time. Now for food - they bring out hot, Parmesan dusted bread as you order and wait for your food...mmmmm. We got the BAW Cabernet Sauvignon by the bottle (24.99) and she let us know that it would be $8 per glass, so it's a bit cheaper to go for the bottle. We had heard good things about the cheese board, so we got a small. Perfect appetizer: at least 6 different tastes of cheeses, salami, different spreads and jams and crackers. Loved it, perfect for 2 people. Our waitress also inspired us to get this fried artichoke/crab meat ball...sounds weird but it was SO GOOD!!!!! Show stealer for sure. I got the classic spaghetti marinara, and Trip got the Bolognese lasagna. Both were impeccable, we are every bite - and the portions were generous but not excessive! Our service was awesome - it felt like they had at least 3 people circulating the small room to make sure everyone was taken care of. Wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!!!

Our evening started with a cocktail hour, during which we got to meet other guests over a glass of Roots & Water cabernet. We loved the cab - light and elegant. Once we were seated, we started with a glass of champagne with east coast oysters. For each course, one of the chefs came out to explain the dish and the inspiration behind it. Chef Adrien explained to us that he and Mollie had curated a menu of aphrodisiacs for Valentine's, and the oyster was prepared in a way that brought out ocean feels. We definitely tasted, felt the ocean waves with the soft red beet foam atop the oyster! Our favorite course of the menu was the soup/pasta dish - fideo noodles with tomato saffron brodo, generous pieces of lobster, and crispy leeks. I'm usually not a fan of tomato-based sauces, but this soup was SO delicious! Not too salty, not too powerful in taste, just right. The noodles were done al dente, with a slightly firm texture in every bite. And the lobster pieces were so soft! We devoured every bite of the entire meal, but we ultimately agreed this course stood out the most! The main was definitely a hit, too! It was braised Texas wagyu with root veg puree, herb emulsion, mushroom, and lots of truffle! We loved the strong flavors of the wagyu paired with the puree - so soft, so fluffy, subtle in taste. And the red that went with it *chef's kiss* We were also impressed with the potato dish - ambrosia fingerling potato with duck fat, burnt crema on top with caviar, ikura, trout roe. Who woulda thought caviar and roe go well with potato! And the crema to balance out all the flavors. We liked how the potato was sliced into perfectly thin pieces for each bite. For the dessert, the panna cotta was paired with a white wine, which we appreciated, as we're not big fans of port/dessert wines. We liked the balance in flavors with the sweet-citrusy taste of the panna cotta and the refreshing white. All in all, I could feel every ounce of attention and love poured into every dish, and we were very, very happy campers by the end of our dinner experience. Thank you to Roots & Water for hosting, as well as the chefs and sommeliers for curating an all-around beautiful experience. We hope to be back soon for some wine tastings!
