I called 22 hours in advance to explain a total emergency that made it impossible for me to attend, but they didn't care at all. I even spoke with management, and their attitude was horrendous. They showed zero empathy for my situation--it's clear they care more about collecting a fee than they do about their patients. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually values people over money.

This facility became my path back to full conditioning, and I'm grateful for every session. What struck me immediately was the diversity of the patient community: athletes training for competition, working professionals recovering from injuries, people of all ages united by one thing--a willingness to do the work. That environment itself became motivating. The entire team deserves recognition. Every therapist and PTA brought expertise and genuine care to their work. The operational excellence impressed me too: reminders arrived the day before appointments, they consistently ran on time despite high volume, and every interaction came with a smile. A special acknowledgment to Conner, who balanced knowledgeable instruction with the perfect level of challenge. Each week, he pushed me just beyond what I'd accomplished the week before--exactly what I needed to progress. I was waiting to write this review but my recent experience over the phone just pushed it over the edge. The front desk staff makes me feel like I am bothering them. Even checking in- come on it's part of your job!! Looking at previous reviews it seems like it has been an ongoing issue. I was overcharged on my first 2 appointments and ended up with a large credit. I was notified the therapist I was working with was leaving and the only other therapist that has experience with my issue does not have availability for a few weeks. So I wanted my credit back as a check- it showed on my insurance application that the claim was processed so I called in. I spoke to Jaden and she said that it was not sent back to them yet so they would call me back when it did. I confirmed with them that they would call me back and she said she wouldn't just leave me hanging.. Then I said thank you, bye and she proceeded to just hang up without any bye or anything. I don't know why every front desk employee seems like they are miserable working there- not sure if it is management or just all of their bad attitudes every time. Won't be returning. Please retrain the front desk!! Makes me feel uncomfortable interacting with them.

He made sure to connect the L2-4 even though he didn't do L3&4 and made sure to recheck them too. He also made sure that I was good before allowing the hospital to discharge me. I was so glad he did because it made recuperating at home easier and experienced no problems. His staff were great to in coordinating everything for the surgery. After care is great too as he explains everything to me. Even giving me physical therapy to help me get my strength back. I did choose Southland Physical Therapy in Long Beach because my therapist, Sami had received great feedback for Dr Yuan from his other clients who had surgery with Dr Yuan. With science camp approaching the following week, I was genuinely worried about how I would manage all the walking. From the moment I contacted Dr. Aslmand's office, I was impressed by how quickly they were able to schedule my appointment. The visit itself was incredibly efficient and thorough. Within about 40 minutes, X-rays were completed, I received a cortisone injection, and Dr. Aslmand took the time to teach me how to properly tape my foot. He also recommended supportive shoes and provided a night splint to aid in my recovery. The most remarkable part? I walked out of the office completely pain-free and I've remained that way ever since. To call Dr. Aslmand a miracle worker would honestly be an understatement.
