Cutter marks on hardwood floor and ceiling. There are grooves and are not tape marks.

ATI showed great potential when they came for some demo work. They were on time, polite but... 1. We had clearly agreed prior to the job to keep some parts of my kitchen cabinetry to use on the one to be rebuilt so that it would match the rest of the kitchen. Unfortunately they trashed a part that is no longer manufactured. So I am going to end up with a part of my cabinetry not matching the rest and that I will have to purchase when I already had it. Either they broke it and didn't want to tell me or they trashed it by mistake and did not check that all the parts they should have kept were left behind before leaving. Either way is unacceptable. 2. They also damaged my ceiling and flooring with a cutter when they installed/removed the containment for demo. They claim it was only tape marks but there are clear grooves on both! I was going to replace the floor so it's OK (although they should have asked for my permission to use a cutter on the floor) but the ceiling is not OK. When I asked Greg (the regional manager) to fix what they damaged, he claimed it's not of their doing. This is unacceptable. 3. The demo team left me for days with a kitchen unnecessarily unusable. I had to call my insurance for them to come back and reconnect everything. This is unacceptable. 4. Steve Bodnar (the project director) immediately stopped any communication with me, including about the damages and loss that his team caused, because I had told him that I am not signing any work authorization until I see flooring that I like. This arrogance in response to a legitimate customer request is unacceptable. 5. The same Steve Bodnar miss-evaluated the square footage of the flooring to replace by about 100 sq ft. When I gave him the opportunity to correct it, he did not care to do so. I had to call my insurance to get another company to do the proper measurements. I got other estimates from other contractors showing that Steve's measurement was off. A mistake can happen. Refusing to look into it is unacceptable. Because of the disrespect towards customers' time, needs and requests, and because ATI refused to make up for their mistakes which will cause me to pay a charge of about $500 that should not have occurred and will leave me with a part of my kitchen not being an exact match with the rest, I strongly advise against using this company for your needs. If they respond to my review, they can claim whatever they want. The above remains the facts and I can substantiate every single one of them if/when needed. **Update after ATI's response* "Leader in customer service"? "Exceptional attention to detail"? Is that a joke? ATI has no shame making such arrogant claims utilizing my review after everything they messed up and the pictures I am showing. Everyone can see how the "leader in customer service" deals with customers. They just gave one more reason to stay away from them. I am no longer wasting my time with them.

ATI was hired by the owners of an apartment building I lived in to do a lead abatement of wood windows and they did a horrendous job. I had already been told by a reputable abatement expert that abating lead from wood windows was not advised because it was extremely hard to get the lead out (because wood is porous) and that many times if people try to do this they end up having to replace the windows anyway because there is still lead there after a costly abatement. That same expert even refused to give a quote for it because of this and recommended window replacement. I passed the info on to the apt building owners but they chose to move forward with ATI instead. I was out of town when all of this happened and ATI made a construction zone out of my apt. I did not know this was going to happen when I left town so I had not taken pains to secure valuables, protect my items, etc. The project manager that the owners hired sent me some photos and updates of what was happening and it was alarming. ATI did not follow federal or state abatement protocols either inside OR outside of the apt. ...There were no zippered walls, our furniture wasn't sealed off, our bedding was left open, etc.. Not only that, you can clearly see in the photos that they were SANDING THE LEAD off our windows with the WINDOWS OPEN!! They did NOT have required vacuums on their sanders and they were letting debris fall on the driveways and units below. They did not display the federally mandated signs so that my neighbors or anyone who walked by would know that an abatement was happening. They did not TELL any neighbors what was happening. In fact, a neighbor asked what was going on and one of the workers said in Spanish to the other worker that he "didn't need to tell her" but she speaks Spanish so she knew what he said. That is IN VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW. Process wise, I was told by the project manager ATI would be done in a few days. Days later, I was told they needed to "come back with a new team" because they were "having a hard time reaching the friction points" (duh, see statement from non-ATI abatement expert above). Incidentally, the friction points are the points on the side that rub against the window when it goes up and down. The dust they create when opened and closed is why we had lead dust in our window sills. The new team came in and they sanded even more and caused even more damage to our apt. I don't know what the bill was to the owners but I assume it was ridiculous for this sub-par job and that it cost far more than new windows. The EPA rules on abatement are quite clear and are posted on their website. California has additional requirements. The required abatement forms were not filed with the state (I called and checked). When I finally got home, there was a thick layer of (lead) dust on everything I owned. I had to throw out every porous item in my apartment - think couch, curtains, rugs, bedding, towels, luggage, pillows, brand new office chair, etc. My clothes had to be cleaned by a special environmental cleaning company. I also got rid of cooking things that had open vents I couldn't clean like my rice cooker, toaster oven, etc. Every other item and inch of my apt had to be completely and thoroughly cleaned by me. This was all done at MY EXPENSE because of this horrible, horrible company. Don't ever, ever use this company. There are so many other professionals out there who both follow the law and follow the standards of decency. ATI does not.

From the very beginning, Daniel was responsive, professional, and willing to help. When I called, he answered immediately, explained the process, and came out quickly to assess the situation. What truly stood out was the level of support long after the initial work was completed. Months later, as I continued dealing with insurance, bond, contractor, and regulatory issues, Daniel and Lawrence continued taking my calls, answering questions, and helping me obtain additional documentation when I needed it. Most recently, they went out of their way to prepare a detailed photo report documenting the property conditions before, during, and after remediation, including room-specific notes and supporting information. They could have simply finished the job and moved on, but instead they took the time to help ensure everything was properly documented. Throughout the entire process, they were professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me through a difficult situation. If you are dealing with water damage, moisture issues, mold concerns, or remediation work, I would absolutely recommend Ready Restore OC. Thank you, Daniel and Lawrence, for all of your help. Your responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond throughout this process did not go unnoticed. It is rare to find a company that continues supporting its customers long after the initial work is completed. I will absolutely be working with Ready Restore OC again for any future remediation needs.

For almost 6 months of going back-and-forth with another company, We just couldn't get anything done. I needed a mold remediation company to help out our situation. I came across World Restoration and read so many wonderful reviews that I gave them a shot. It was by far the best experience. Keith was the main person I spoke with to set up a day for Jim to get out here and take a look at our situation. Keith also helped with giving us references for lead and Aspesos testing companies. He checked in on us so kindly to see if we had further questions. He was So friendly and helpful. Jim came out to our home and checked out the area that needed to get treated. He was also very friendly and explained everything they would need to do to get things done and completed. He was patient with me about all my questions. They were so patient with us as we needed to wait on some testing that we had to complete due to the year our home was built. Thankfully everything came out negative and the crew was scheduled to come out to our home. The crew that came with Jim were prompt, efficient and friendly. They really did a great job at taking care of the area to ensure the there were no leaks or mold growth behind our walls. Once the project was complete, I needed help finding a drywall company and Kieth referred me to a few. This company is so friendly and helpful and will explain to you what needs to be done, and will answer all your questions. They also have a great price! I strongly recommend World Restoration.

If you're not, expect lack of communication, any communication is a "miscommunication", and expect a hefty bill with "creative invoicing". I'm all about saving a buck but at the cost of MY premiums & integrity, no thanks. $300 for some friend plumber to create a fake report to send to insurances. INSANE. Never mind the absolute lack of care for your items when they pack them up. I had my succulent plants thrown in with all my jewelry & bathroom items. Absolutely could've and would've love to pack them up myself and put my plants outside if they listened to our request to not start on Friday and to reschedule to Monday. My partner & I were at work as their team entered my home by telling our roommate they were supposed to be there. Ask for an itemized invoice? Crickets. Try to talk about issues? Deflected to the other 3rd company parties they work with while in your house. I asked over and over for an invoice, gave my email multiple times, nothing. Just to get called 4 days before they decided to consider me late by their AR department. 17,000 in 4 days?! He explained I was signing a promise to pay if my insurance doesn't cover and a 3 days before quit contract if I change my mind. * An honest company wouldn't remove or report their 1 star reviews for removal - there is a reason they don't want you to see what others are saying.

Throughout the process, I was repeatedly told different things regarding pricing, insurance, and third-party contractors. After my insurance claim was denied, the pricing discussions changed significantly from what I had been led to expect during the project. The biggest frustration was the lack of transparency surrounding a separate abatement contractor. Their invoice did not surface until after we were already disputing the mitigation bill, and it took numerous conversations to understand who was responsible for what. At various points, we were told the issue would be "taken care of," only to later learn that the contractor was independently owned and billing us directly. The amount of time, effort, and stress required to get clear answers was far beyond what a homeowner should reasonably expect. My advice to anyone considering their services: do not let them pressure you into signing anything, make sure you fully understand every contractor involved, obtain all pricing and responsibilities in writing upfront, and don't rely on verbal assurances when it comes to billing or settlement terms. Get EVERYTHING in writing.

They'd likely pose as a question--"Are you willing to" "I believe you expressed", --not an accusation.) Because of this, I'm changing my 2-star review to 1 star. But to be fair, this is just my experience. They do have great reviews, so you may have a better experience (if you decide to use them). Below is the original rating before this update: ____________________________________________________________ 6/3/2026 This is the email that I sent to Restoration1: "Hi Janny, I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email. And your 1 email was asking for materials I already provided. I was so impressed with your estimator's expertise and willingness to answer all of my questions that I likely wanted to use Restoration1, but the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1. The estimator came out May 21st. It's June 1st. Can you tell me what's going on with my estimate?" Their utter lack of follow-through was incredibly frustrating because I was super impressed with the estimator's professionalism, friendliness, and expertise. 1. The estimator came out May 27. 2. After a week I reached out. 2. Janny responded by asking for docs I already sent 3. I gave it to her again. 4. Then crickets... 6. I emailed a 3rd time for updates. No response. 7. I emailed again + messaged on Yelp 8. They finally responded saying I had refused asbestos testing, which they require. 9. I said I never refused because nobody informed me until 3 weeks in. So they asked for docs already provided (why ask for docs if asbestos was an issue?), did nothing for 3 weeks, said I refused asbestos testing, which wasn't true, and that I would've agreed to do the testing had I been informed, Janny's response was judgmental and rude. And the overall communication--or lack thereof--I received from Janny was misinformed, argumentative, accusatory, and rude. Had they told me about the asbestos testing requirement I would have complied. But, if my experience thus far was any indication of how it would be working with them, I decided to pass. I think I saved myself a lot of headache. Buyer beware.
