They told me to contact a non-existent eBay "comprehensive online portal", then stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. Based on the other Yelp reviews, it appears that this company's business involves selling reduced price bargains that may well have some type of damage. Local customers shopping at this store in person may know about Building Liquidator's "buyer beware" approach to discounted goods, but I bought the mower from them from hundreds of miles away on eBay; it was listed as "new, in the box" and I had no idea that it might have some kind of problem. When the box arrived, it had clearly been opened and resealed. I suspect now that the mower may have been a return from another customer, perhaps because of the same malfunction, and that Building Liquidators then passed it on to me. Their handling of this situation doesn't speak well for their company's customer service. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company. Customers should be aware that their state's consumer protection laws or credit card company's policies may offer them additional protection, regardless of what any particular company's policies may state.

Stan (owner/manager?) escorted me back to the warehouse and showed me their selection of pine decking. It uses a new process that leaves the wood more of a pale yellow instead of the greenish tint from traditional pressure treated lumber. Whats more, not a single knot anywhere. And I can stain it immediately - no waiting. After pricing out the job, I was pleasantly surprised that it would be less than half what Trex would cost and in my opinion, give a much better look for the finished product. Stan was knowledgeble and quite helpful in answering all my questions. While I still shop regularly at Lowes and Home Depot, it was a great experience shopping at Midway due to the superior quality of the merchandise and knowledge of the staff.

I purposefully built the pad it sits on 2 inches higher than the rest of the driveway so water intrusion wouldn't be an issue. I was just told today: "ANY modifications made to the garage to include the electric work you had done voids your warranty." (The electric subpanel is several feet from the door and has no water intrusion issues.) I specifically asked, "Are you saying I cannot have electricity put in my garage without voiding my warranty?" Tuff Shed's answer was "That is correct." I also asked if Tuff Shed does electric work so that their buildings can have power. I was told "no." With no electricity allowed, you can forget about having a garage door opener installed. You'll also be expected to use a flashlight if you need to go into your garage at night, much less use a power tool that needs to be plugged in. Tuff Shed specifically asked for inside and outside pictures of the whole garage after I sent them detailed photos of the rotten door frame. I suspect this was so they could find any little modification in order to deny the warranty.

However, be careful with ordering additional services - ensure that your shed building is built on an area with sufficient space for workers to construct. We paid $200 for construction of the shed on space that they deemed insufficient as to clearance between our house and fence. We were told the workers would not construct the shed in that space and would build it in another area. We would have to pay for additional workers to move the building from that space to the space we wanted it. The builders came to our home and built the shed in the space that was deemed inadequate with no problems and not need to bring in additional workers to move the building into the supposedly inadequate space. This was an outright mischaracterization of the work performed and there was no need to pay the additional $200 to move the shed to the "inadequate" space area. Very deceptive and when I called to request a refund for the $200 we paid for the non-service of moving the building, the company representatives were very rude and actually hung up on me. I would recommend not dealing with them. I should have looked at their reviews as there have been over 30% negative on Facebook. This was a North Georgia project and this review involves their local office representatives who were very rude and argumentative.

It is in my opinion that he really wasn't going to try to put down the flooring he just wanted me to sign a waiver because my credit card company wanted him to clear up the flooring problem that he created. This was a trick for me to believe that he was going to redo my flooring then he was going to turn that paper over to the credit card company and not come out and do the flooring and leave the warped flooring in my home because that's all he can do with it. Understandable, but not what I wanted to hear. I called Chamblee Ace, and they said "Sure, you just pay for the cut." There were 14 8"x10" pieces I needed cut. Lance (I'm pretty sure his name was Lance) said it would take about an hour. A little over an hour later he called and said they were ready. How much did he charge me? $20. I was expecting to pay probably twice that. And the work was beautifully done, nice, clean, precise cuts. It's a little out of my way, but I'm going to Chamblee Ace for my hardware needs from now on.
