My experience in the past…read morewith Crossfit is that they are very picky as to your fitness level, so I wanted to make sure this was a welcoming place for beginners. The person who greeted me informed me that the classes were for all fitness levels and it is for all ages. I was told to come with my daughter, who they also said was welcome, so that we could try it out. Once I got to the class, we were separated from the other class members (was told classes were at your pace) in a private session. In the end, I was told my daughter, who is turning 12, was too young and could only do private sessions, and I should also do private sessions for at least 6 classes (for us both, this would be over $160 a session). I see they have happy customers, but I am sure they all must have come in fit or done their private sessions as suggested. I would not recommend this place if you are starting your fitness journey. You can get private training at a gym and some of the more beginning-level-welcoming CrossFit gyms. If CrossFit is your sport of choice and EX is the closest to your house, I am sure they will welcome you in once you are all fit and ready for their classes. In my case, a place that says I am welcome but treats my fitness level like a problem will never get any of my money

Gordon the owner/coach and all of his staff were knowledgeable, helpful and made everyone there feel awesome. I dropped in four days in a row and even did Yoga for the first time after the WOD on the fourth day. The facility is a good size, certainly not tiny, but not too open/big. It was organized and very clean, obvious that they maintain the place well. Thanks for the great hospitality CrossFit EX! I will definitely drop in again if in town.

I've previously been a member at several large box gyms but often felt uncomfortable with the sales pressure and long term contracts. Nothing like that here - at SFX I felt right at home. Everything from the front desk to the trainers (thanks Evan) made me feel right at home. The gym has all of the equipment you'll need to get a great workout in - whatever your goals are - but the real gold is the people. The staff and trainers made themselves available to answer questions and are extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Gym-goers are a total mix of ages and fitness levels and the monthly fee is reasonable. I look forward to checking out some of the classes and camps in the future. I'm still going to be patronizing all of the great food and drink in Roswell - just adding SFX into my routine!

Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind, he also has an arsenal of health and nutrition tips. The owner, Rick, makes everyone feel welcome and there is a diverse clientele with youth sports training and more senior or seasoned patrons like me (smile). Julian, one of the founders, is amazing with nutrition coaching, sports and functional/mobility training that has helped me with a few hip flexor issues that have come up over the years. There are also classes focused on strength training and cardio. I started small and was encouraged by another gym goer, Stephanie, to come with her to a few. Now, in addition to training, I attend step, boot camp, boxing, glute camp and even trampoline! I am grateful to her and countless others for their encouragement. The location is very convenient for me (eliminating excuses) and they have everything on hand from towels and showers to 360 body scans. I lost my way for a few years even though I knew what to do (certified personal trainer, past figure bodybuilder). The missing link was the accountability and sense of community to help keep me on track. Thanks to the great staff at SFX, I have found my way back and wouldn't trade the process for anything. When I started I was worried about the money and whether or not I would be wasting my time. The coaches and the members are incredibly friendly and the workouts are tough, but the coaches are dedicated to ensuring that your technique is perfect before they push you. That sold me! I thought I was a decent athlete, but I quickly found out that some of my form was off for some exercises and it caused me pain. Once the coaches fixed my form I was able to continue with ZERO pain! I had a knee injury for about 6 weeks that prevented me from squatting and the coaches modified the workouts for me to accommodate my injury! I was able to continue to workout while my injury heeled. Amazing! I have seen incredible results going to this gym with the help of the coaches and experienced members. The MVMNT culture has motivated me to come to gym consistently because I have fun not because I feel obligated to come. I like how I am pushed to go faster to beat myself or to add a little weight because I don't realize I am stronger, but the coaches do. I have lost 15 pounds in 6 months. I am faster. I am stronger. I eat better. And I feel motivated to continue to lead a healthy lifestyle because of the MVMNT.

I decided to try Stretch Zone and found that they were able to stretch me in ways I simply can't do on my own. Even better, the benefits of the stretching last for several days afterward. Needless to say the experience started out badly regarding the account setup and interaction internally. While my therapist was good, Pedro lacks any type of sense or service minded action. He was not helpful or mindful of any type of experience. His only answer to a problem is to contact the owners and treated me like I have never used an app or computer before. My app account has never worked, I was told it would be fixed within a day or two. Still does not work after a month or so. No contact from owner or anyone else. Only say to use the website to schedule. That to has not worked and I was instructed to use a certain password only and not to change it. red flag. I decided to stop going due to these issues. Again, Pedro, stated he'd have to talk to the owners. Still no contact from any owner. Maybe SZ is a good avenue for stretching, but I would not choose this location. Expensive and the staff do not seem like true trained therapists. Just kids with a job. I have only asked that I receive half theI woudl rate a 0er do not exist, or just do not care about the experience at this location.
