I love the events such as wine tasting - I think it was over 60 wines; the in-depth Pilates events, they recently updated the gym equipment, the coaches are great with fabulous playlist and there are a lot of community focused events. It's a really big tennis facility so if you're in to racket sports, this is the place for you. I still have my LT membership and that being said the locker rooms need an update. Integrating to a system that allows me to schedule tennis, massages etc as well as scan into the club would make things more convenient. I don't have traditional car keys so having to carry a single tiny card with me can be a bit frustrating. They are contract based - 1 year minimum but there is definitely value if you live or work in the area.

The first time the front desk took my name and number and advised the manager would call back. They did not. The second time they thanked me for the feedback and apologized. Suddenly, she began alleging that my son was being "aggressive," which is completely out of character and not supported by his daily ABA therapy reports or the previous Kids Klub caregiver, Ms. Karen, who worked with him regularly without problems. Since Ms. Vaughn, I've noticed inconsistent and unfair treatment -- one day Ms. Vaughn said the maximum number of kids allowed was 15, then the very next visit claimed it was 10 and refused to let my son in. She's also suggested I bring in a device to keep him occupied instead of encouraging him to play, also upon entering the kids klub one session I heard her telling small children to keep the toys off the floor, which is unacceptable in a kids' center. Now my son has even been banned from the Kids Klub without ANY documentation, proof, or communication with me as a parent. If his behavior were truly an issue, I should have been contacted immediately, which NEVER happened. I was completely dumbfounded when I was able to check my son in at the front desk with no issue, just to be told by Ms. Vaughn that my son is banned. As a parent, I feel my son has been discriminated against because of his autism, and I cannot recommend this location to other families until LA Fitness addresses this issue with accountability and fairness. Children with disabilities deserve to be treated equally and with respect -- not singled out. UPDATE 8/19 Called up to the gym & I spoke with Lexi, the manager of the store and she was absolutely no help, she claimed she could not find his parent's information when prior to me leaving yesterday, (8/18) I wrote my name, my sons name and my telephone # for contact, she never intended to reach out to me honestly and that was a very weak excuse to not reach out for such a urgent matter. She also advised me they have no policy whatsoever on the max amount of kids that get to be in the kids klub, the caregiver gets to make that call. I find it very hard to believe that a company as large as LA Fitness has no set guidelines on the absolute maximum amount of kids allotted in the facility at a given time. Further more she explained they don't have any cameras in this kids klub, so we cannot confirm any of these incidents because guess what? THERE WAS NO DOCUMENTATION or INCIDENT REPORTS! So now its all on a he say, she say basis. Lexi also mentioned she walked in and seen my son being physical with another kid, yet she did not reach out to me, AGAIN the incident was NOT documented. Lexi mentioned that the employees in the kids klub are not trained to handle children with disabilities, on my sons 1st day with Ms. Vaughn, i advised her he has autism - THAT WAS HER OPPURTUNITY to be transparent with me, not once did she say anything to me. Prior to Ms.Vaughn, we had MINIMAL issues. These are serious allegations and should be handled as such, why are they not taking this much more seriously with proper documentation and also involving me as the parent more. No one has ever called me or came to get me while in the gym to come get my son for these accusations to be SO severe that he is banned.

I didn't think much of it until I received an email in August telling me that I would be eligible for cancellation in September, which was not true. It wasn't long before I discovered I was locked into a "subscription trap." They kept withdrawing money from my account for three months, totaling $450.00! This made me really frustrated and upset. I ended up having to reach out to my bank and cancel my card. I thought X3 Sports would be more helpful and clear about cancellations. I warn others to be careful if they think about joining X3 Sports because getting out of this "subscription trap" is very difficult.

Notice how the best reviews were left in the past! This gym isn't worth it. For the same price, you can join a crunch or a planet fitness. The locker rooms have the bare minimum amenities and the selection of weight machines is mediocre.

At my home studio, the studio assistants would assign us stations, but here we have the chance to choose what station we want to start one which is a huge plus! So make sure to get here early.
