I have had to take care of needed repairs that came to my attention. I had Keith come out in August of 2024 and repaired 3 tie rod leaks. He did a great job. In May of this year I had to have more work done that I wasn't aware of because the leaks only occurred during really heavy rains. This time Dean came out and did a great job. 22 tie rod leaks and 2 cracks were repaired. Dean also gave me recommendations on companies to call for the remaining leak that Dean's company can't handle. Mr. Sponge's scheduler and Dean were able to accommodate my having to care for my Mom and being available to assist with showing Dean what I needed done. Mr. Sponge is a great company.

Honesty, dependability and quality workmanship are qualities I look for when doing business with companies. Mr. Sponge has met my expectations in those regards. I was first introduced to the company in 2018 when I inquired with them about the sealing of foundation cracks in the basement of a property I owned at the time. I submitted an online request for consultation and within hours I received a response from the owner, Sherrill Dean Teaster. Although my problem did not require Mr. Teaster's services, I was very appreciative of the time he took to provide an informative, detailed explanation of how my problem came about and the steps I could take personally to bring about its resolve. Mr. Teaster's empathy and honesty were admirable and left an everlasting impression on me, which is why I sought his services just recently. I observed Mr. Teaster as he completed my service repair and it is apparent that he is a master of his craft as he performed with the level of care, accuracy and thoroughness you'd expect from a skilled professional. My customer experience with Mr. Sponge has been gratifying and I expect the results of their work to be just as pleasing.

We had him remove grass in a large area of our yard that wrapped around our shed and pole barn. He also cleared out an old dirt bike trail our kids had built years ago that had gotten over grown with weeds and small trees. He then put in a crushed asphalt driveway that went from our pole barn in the middle section of our backyard, all the way up to our driveway and had it all smoothed out beautifully. He brought in loads and loads of dirt to level out our yard in places it was needed as well as a huge load of mulch to help us create what will be a beautifully landscaped flower bed eventually. Mitch and his crew did everything we asked them to do and everything they said they would do too. I couldn't be happier with the job. I would also like to mention this is the second time we have used M&K for a project. Last year he came out and they did the slab for our pole barn and it was a top notch job to say the least. I would recommend them over and over again.

My driveway was started in August and completed the very end of October. There was never enough materials delivered at any one time to finish the job. I was not kept informed when he would be back to finish the job even though I paid him in full. Finally, the end of October they were out here to re-roll the road and I assumed to finish my drive. Later that day I saw that different materials were used and only half of my driveway was rolled. So one side is rough asphalt stones while the other side is fine stone and rolled. It seriously looks like 2 different driveways split down the middle. I sent pictures to him and asked if he was finished. I was told by his wife that he was but she would forward the pictures to Mitch. I have not heard a single word from them since. I feel it's a shame as Mitch was a really nice guy. He did a good job on our road. But I feel he got to the point that he didn't care to finish my driveway with any high standards.

About seven years or so we had Ayer come out and remove the old broken clay weeping tile in our…read morebasement and install a new system complete with sump system. They did a nice job no more water in the basement. Hated the little in ground sump discharge tank in the yard...always standing water. We ultimately had a local contractor reroute the sump discharge to the city storm sewer system $$$. It resolved the problem. Ayers at the same time also installed new basement windows (wrong type) but never finished the installation until months later after a lot of calling...in the interim we patched them as best we could, but our basement became a haven for spiders and other insects. The next year at our annual Ayers sump inspection, Zach (Zachart Stout) pointed out the failing of our 80-year-old north basement wall, of which we were already aware of. So, by 2026 after annual inspections by Zach, the wall situation had worsened to the point of needing repair (or take your chances). An Ayers crew came out and installed a series of GeoLock wall anchors to stabilize the wall. Their work was timely, very efficient and left no mess. We probably would have rated Ayers with a 5 if it hadn't been such a poor previous experience with the windows. Thanks, Zach, for your help and advice over the years.

Unacceptable behavior!! Why would a customer pay for a job that is not done. 2nd visit they had the very same trouble with injection gun, and then spilled brake fluid on my newly sealed driveway. Apparently brake fluid is used to clean the gun. 3rd visit they finally had equipment that actually worked. But I would not let them apply the seam sealant because it was gray and did not match my colored stamped patio, in which the sales representative said they would at least try to match the best they could. Gray was not even close. 4th visit they applied the sealant and added the colored sand to surface to match the patio. On the final visit they only offered $100 discount for my stained driveway. I reluctantly agreed just to get them out of my yard. They should of offered more because of the four visits to do a small job and the permanent stain on my driveway. My father was asking if Ayers should level his sidewalk, my response; Heck no, find someone else. I do not recommend this company at all. See photos of permanent stain that they didn't even try to remove, they left it for me to clean the best I could.
