I called them back and they came back to evaluate the issue and/or reclean if necessary. I hired Atlantic Duct Cleaning to use the Aeroseal Process to seal the HVAC ductwork in my home (August 2023). The procedure claims to seal your ductwork and increase indoor air quality, eliminate dust, allergens, and odors coming in from unconditioned spaces. The crew was friendly, and the lead technician discussed the process with me directly. Unfortunately, there was sealing material blowback throughout my home when operating the equipment, this was especially noticed on the floors etc. The service is costly, and the dust problem remains i.e., continued fine particles blowing out of the registers on all levels of the residence. read more

I first called Certified Green team to come out and provide me an estimate on dryer vent cleaning .. What a joke! They sent out one of their techs and he showed my husband a vent (supposedly dryer vent) located on our deck , stated that the flap is not blowing out because our dryer vent is SO BACKED UP and it would cost $850 to clear the vent ... $850?!?! After providing that price we sent him on his way. The very next day I called Atlantic Duct (should have called them to start with) they scheduled us for their next available , crew came on time, was very professional, and took the time to explain everything to us. The crew discovered that our dryer vent was indeed NOT ON THE DECK but located in the front of the house, costed us under $300 to clear the vent!!! So NOT ONLY did Green Team try to overcharge us but didn't even know where the dryer vent was located! Our dryer no longer needs to be replaced. All I can say is WOW! The experience I had with Atlantic was just unbelievable. I called a week or so ago because I was having dust issues and a buddy of mine recommended them to come clean my ducts. Atlantic Duct Company is a rare gem. I had them come out and clean my ducts and dryer vent and they did a fantastic job. A year later I had them scheduled to Aeroseal my ducts hoping it would address the excess dust I am dealing with on second floor. They arrived this morning and did an inspection. FIrst, they told me my ducts were clean and didn't need to be cleaned again (saving me a fair amount of money). The more impressive part is that they found that my ducts were not leaking and told me I didn't have to have any work done. Thank goodness we got our dryer vent cleaned! The guys on site were professional and efficient. I was shocked just how much lint was pulled it out of our dryer vent. They told me If we had waited any longer, we would have had the chance of a fire in the house. The dryer was turned up to high heat and was barely driving our clothes, so I knew something was wrong.
