My family last minute booked this hotel for August 31st, as it was reasonably priced. When calling, I spoke with one of their managers on the phone was incredibly nice and helpful. She helped me book a room, and answered any questions I had. The hotel is in a great location, walkable to almost anything on that entire strip. The room was clean, and a nice size. Our stay was great except for a few things. #1 Paying 12.50 for off season parking is ridiculous when you're spending money on a room. #2 you have to walk to the office and find out when you get there that they ran out of Coffee , I went to get coffee in the evening and the next morning. I was here mid April and they didn't have half n half for the coffee. They seem to apologize an awful lot here. They keep saying I told the manager but nothing gets done. We do enjoy staying here the girls in the office are very nice we will keep coming back. My complaints might be minor, but I like my coffee when I get up and usually I don't want to walk to the front office to get it. read more

I stayed for 2 nights at Atlantic Oceanside because I had a good experience at House of Dewey years ago. But this was terrible. For starters paying $12 a night for parking is ridiculous as we are already renting the room. The rooms are disgusting, Knatts coming out of the sink drain. Shower tub water won't drain. The tv has lines running across and changes channels every few minutes .the bedside lights don't work either.And the walls are paper thin can hear everyone and everything, including the barking dogs in another room cause their owners left them. I will never stay here again, nor recommend it. It is sad because the location is prime! read more

No maid service whatsoever. Shower curtain moldy. TV unreliable. Couldn't maintain channels. Police activity during our stay was unnerving to say the least. The initial room we booked had a defunct toilet. The parking fee which is absurd was waived at least. The phone in the room made a buzzing sound and had to be unplugged. The place was a relic from the 70's. Website very deceiving. Our check out time was 11 am but our room key deactivated at 10:20 am locking us out concurrently with housekeeping asking why we were still there. Never again will I stay there. read more

The maid service here is horrible. We stayed 5 days in July 2025. Now I don't need the bed made everyday but fresh towels is nice. After day 3 we stopped in the office at 9am before heading to the beach and asked for our room to be serviced. We returned about 5 pm that day to no service, garbage never emptied, nothing. We had to go to the office to ask for fresh towels amongst a line of other people asking the same. Place is really dated and could use an update but the lack of maid service was the worst. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this motel. The decor was totally updated. Lots of of space for your things and the beds were comfortable too. We also chose the Oceanside because they are pet friendly. That said, the motel was always clean and never smelled the least bit "doggy" and trust me there were plenty of them there. A few details to note this is three story structure and there is no elevator. The ice machine cost 25cents but it's enough to fill your little bucket. The front desk also doubles as a public cafe but guests can get the complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. My only peeve here was they offer the smallest coffee cup possible. There are also two upper decks where you can smoke. And last, it's literally a short stroll to the beach. read more

The cafe was dirty. There were 3 tables and one of them was covered with a bag of fast food and had a book bag sitting there for over and hour. The girl working the counter didn't really seem to care she was working. Her phone was plugged in on the windowsill and she was sitting behind the counter. Finally a young girl, who we think was also working but not sure, came to get her mess and bag. The girl behind the counter now had a friend and there were watching something on her phone with ear buds. (All this aside) the place was filthy. They had a double door entrance with one being locked and the other had the kickstand taped up with scotch tape. That left the door constantly open with flies and heat coming in. The manager and co owner, a shorter dark haired woman was so extremely rude, confrontational and condescending I couldn't even believe the way she was talking to us and everyone else. They do a really great job of taking pictures and using the right angles. There is nothing "resort" about this motel. It is a 3 story, no elevator, facing the street motel that was absolutely filthy. I had 2 pets and we are smack dab in the middle on the 2nd floor. The stairwells stunk and were dirty and the sidewalks were narrow and dirty. The pool was small and filthy as well as people were allowing their dogs to swim in it. When entering, you can tell that they started upgrading rooms which is great. They featured newer lamps with lots of plugs a decent tv, good size mini fridge and microwave. That's where the good ends. The room had obvious signs of water damage and the ceiling was peeling and falling off all around the door and the only window in the room. The bathroom was DISGUSTING!! It was dirty, the tub was cracking, and it had a rusty shower rod that was also falling apart. The beds were the most UNCOMFORTABLE bed I've ever slept on. Every time I turned a spring popped. Don't even get me started on the pillows. There were 3 but might as well have been one because they were thin and not comfortable. Their customer service was honestly the worst I have ever encountered. I was visibly shaken by the way the manager treated me and didn't feel comfortable even staying there so we ended up leaving and losing our money because absolutely no refunds and "too bad" was what the female manager and the older man working said. In fact they told us to "go stay at the Hyatt down the street" If you're looking for a truly hospitable place, do yourself a favor and stay at Adam's oceanfront right down the road. They were clean and right on the beach and they had an amazing pool. read more

The rooms are very clean and deodorized. The TV works good but is small. No directions for tv channels. Had to call front desk for a channel guide. The phone has no directions for dialing out or front desk so we surmised it was zero for front desk but could not get a call out. The smoke alarm was hanging. The WiFi was excellent. I did feel that priceline lied about the breakfast. They DID NOT say continental breakfast. They said breakfast which truly wasnt half bad. My whole idea of a good place to stay is clean room-check Good WiFi - check tv that works -check and NO BEDBUGS!! Sold! Best of all...close to the ocean. read more

We stayed here on a last minute idea to go to the beach for the last weekend in the summer. I'm honestly torn about 2 vs. 3 stars so I decided to round up. Some of this is a matter of opinion, of course, and some of this was pretty objective. I fully realize this is a motel (albeit three floors) and so it's in this context: Pros: the location was nearly unbeatable (2 minutes to the beach), the staff were very friendly. Parking included. The price was so-so (we did book last minute), but the accommodations for dogs was pretty good (provided bags and treats). We had an oceanview room which was worth the splurge. It was nice having the complimentary breakfast so I didn't have to crawl to a mini mart first thing. The rooms were okay for the money, lots and lots of power outlets and we did not hear the people next to or below us, but... Cons: The rooms were clearly showing their age. Peeling paint, showers that lack, etc. That can't be helped, but there was still sand everywhere in the room when we checked in. The mattress was super soft and worn out and I didn't get much sleep as I had to wake up every couple of hours to adjust my spine (hashtag old man problems). We had no top sheet and asked for one plus extra pillows--twice--and they never came. The lighting in the room was a harsh medicinal white, which doesn't sound bad until you just want to read before bed (hashtag old man problems). And though the location was good, if you're an early-to-bed person, the bars down the street can be heard as clear as if you were in the audience of a show (they were pretty respectful and ended around 11pm, which isn't bad, but just be warned). It was nice to have the complimentary breakfast, but they never opened the coffee shop in the lobby in the morning so walkersby kept banging on the door and asking me to let them in while I checked my e-mail. So, in short, kind of broke even on the place. I don't regret staying here but probably will stay elsewhere if given a choice next time. read more

God Awful!!! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! Staff is rude and unaccommodating. Half of them had no clue what they were doing. The room was not clean. The roof leaked with sagging ceiling tiles and mold above them. I got VERY sick following my stay in room 317 for over a week requiring 2 rounds of steroids upon return home so I could breathe and talk. Missed 2 days of work and I'm STILL not right. The rooms were recently remodeled and are very clean. Some rooms have kitchenettes with a big mini-fridge and a little stove for cooking! The have a nice pool with chairs to lay out in, and two decks to catch rays. It's the perfect location since it's walking distance from everything and off the same street as Northbeach. read more

Let me start off with some positives. The decor was bright and beachy. You could tell they were doing their very best to make things look tidy. Staff was super sweet and helpful throughout our stay. There was free grub in the morning (standard, muffins, coffee, fruit, cereal etc.) Location to the beach was awesome! Just a 3 min walk away. Plenty of stores and restaurants were in walking distance. They also allow dogs for a small fee ($10 I think?). Now, that being said we will NEVER return to this motel again. First off, being a motel the crowd it attracted didn't exactly jive with our family vacation vibe. I was up till midnight because of people out in the parking lot and folks walking down the halls drunkenly carrying on. I wasn't mad at em though. This is exactly the type of place you'd come if you wanted to hang out at the beach and get a little sloppy. The thing that pissed me off was the person next door. They brought their yappy dog and then decided to leave for 3 hours. Their dog barked the ENTIRE 3 hours and it set my dog off. I found that highly annoying. So unless you're looking to get sloshed in a Doheny parking lot and don't mind a midnight canine concert, I'd skip this place. read more

We stayed in room 118. The floor and carpet were wet constantly. If you wore shoes there's a possibility of slipping on the tiles If your in just your socks, they got wet. Not sure if it was because the humidifier didn't work or because water was seeping in. For the price it's not a bad place to stay. Just request not to stay in 118. The lack of stars has more with the managers nasty attitude when I mentioned the wet floor than the accommodations. read more

I stayed here in the middle of July on a quick whim after visiting family in Rehobeth Beach. Check in was very easy, the woman at the desk wasn't in a terrific mood; whatever. She directed me to the local police station to get a parking pass for a friend because you are only allowed 1 car per room. The front parking lot is quite tight, however there is much more parking in the back of the building. The rooms are your typical beachside motel rooms, nothing fancy yet it wasn't creepy. The air-conditioning stayed at a nice 68° which was great because it was an extremely hot & humid weekend. The free breakfast was pretty decent in the morning; we toasted up some croissants and helped ourselves to yogurt, fruit and coffee. There was a lovely outside area on the rooftop to hang out, as well as another deck with tables & chairs and lounge chairs. We noticed there were non-smoking signs however there were ashtrays at some of the tables. Makes no difference to me but I found that odd. For some reason housekeeping did not come until later in the afternoon the next day and I thought that was bizarre because I was expecting my room to be tidied up after lunchtime and I came back to an unclean room. However when it was tidied up later on everything was in its place and it was put together nicely. Some of the guests and their children were pretty loud late in the evening in the pool area. It was after 1030pm and there were kids screaming and people yelling; it was pretty distracting and some guests were not pleased. I was about five minutes late checking out and immediately got a telephone call from the front desk so I quickly finished packing up my car and checked out. Service was not really that friendly...I was not asked to come back or asked how I enjoyed anything. If I came back to this area I would definitely stay somewhere else however if you have a small dog (they are pet friendly) and you were visiting the area and are on a budget, this is a great place. read more

Maybe it's a bit snobby, but I instinctively recoil at the thought of staying at anything that's called a "motel." But, we rolled the dice and more than survived this experience. Basically, my fear is that I don't want to sleep anywhere that's disgustingly dirty, smelly, dingy, etc. And Atlantic Oceanside is nothing like that (mostly). Obviously, the rooms are far from luxurious - things are clearly old. rooms open to the outside, the ceilings are low (especially in the tiny bathroom), etc. but they are clean enough, the showers work well, there's cable, a nice sized fridge. And, maybe most importantly, we were supplied with plenty of pillows and towel. The pool is surprisingly clean all factors considered, and there's a really nice patio area with plenty of seating and tables raised above it where we hung out. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it made for a nice, relatively cheap, and issue-free stay in Dewey Beach. Probably not recommended for families, because of the crowd, but then again neither is the rest of Dewey. read more

Stayed here for three nights in early October 2014 (off season) with my boyfriend and 4 year old Corgi mix and we all LOVED it!!! After October 1st the Dewey Beaches are all dog friendly. You have to register your pup with the City (info available at the motel) and then leashes are optional and everything is accessible!! We are very excited at the idea of coming back here to stay for a few nights this spring before season starts again. The location of this motel is perfect! Only a few houses down from a public beach access point and (on the other side) at least four really good dive bars with gourmet kitchens within three blocks!!! Yes, homemade delicious food with quality ingredients will come out of the kitchen's of dive bars here!! It's about a two mile easy walk to the center of downtown Rehoboth including the Dogfish Head Restaurant Brew Pub. Dewey Beach was hosting a few different events the weekend we were in town. One was a breast cancer run & pig roast "Dewey goes pink" and the other was a huge Golden Retriever meet up event in it's second year called the "Golden Jubilee". The motel was full of dog owners and fun runners all of whom were very friendly to us and our pup. The only downfall of the whole stay which wasn't even a big problem was some barking at night but that's what you get at a dog friendly motel. Some of the visiting Golden Retriever dogs would create a brief barking phone tree so a bark in one room would lead to a bark in another room which would prompt a bark from somewhere else and so on. It was brief and almost funny however a bit jarring.Being a dog owner for many years I much prefer the sound of happy/curious dogs to the sound of rowdy children (of which there were none). Surprisingly our dog did not participate in the late night flash bark-a-thons, he noticed it less than we did. However on Sunday night when the Golden's left and the Greyhounds started to arrive for the next weekends festivities, Greyhounds Reach the Beach, some barking was constant and not happy so we called the front desk to complain about a whining/barking greyhound in the adjoining room and they took care of the issue immediently. Not to be forgotten, the staff was extremely nice. We stopped in to visit the front desk whenever we walked by the office because they were always so happy to see our dog and he loved the attention. Worth noting, the front desk was open all night over the weekend and offered free tea, coffee and late night dog treats! The room was clean and well stocked with towels and amenities. I am very very picky and cannot stay in humid or strong smelling rooms (air freshener smells or otherwise) . I have a really sensitive sense of smell so I have a lot more problems with this than most people do. For a dog friendly motel that allows smoking in certain designated rooms I was worried coming in (even with our non smoking room booked) but I was beyond delighted to find our room was clean and fresh!! It really lived up to my high standards!! I can't wait to come back here again. And again. And again!! read more

Hey, this place isn't too bad! It is a motel, for sure (doors open to the outside, you have to pay for ice), but the rooms are clean and big enough, and there is housekeeping. Atlantic Oceanside is right on the beach, which is the main reason why you should stay here. It's also very reasonable for a place to stay in a tourist destination (4 people to a room, each paid $114 total for two nights in the middle of summer). Also, they have a very small pool. Not sure why you would go to this mini-pool instead of the beach that's right behind you, but others apparently disagreed based on the crowd I saw there in the mornings. Also, the most underrated feature of this place is the porch. It's connected to the second floor with several tables and chairs, and it's a great place to hang out or play games before dinner or before you go out. Also, it faces the street, so there's interesting people watching. Keep in mind that they only allow for 1 car per room, and you have to jump through a few hoops and pay $35 if you want another parking pass to park off-site. Last year, we stayed at the Best Western Gold Leaf, right down the street. There, they offer continental breakfast and have rooms with 3 double beds, but it is more expensive, and there's no porch. So, it's a tie. read more

Had a great weekend at this place. I've been going to Dewey Beach since I was a little girl growing up in the 80s, so I feel like I know the place pretty well. This was interestingly enough my first time at a Dewey Beach hotel - in the past we have done a house or condo rental. The good (and there's lots of it): -Dog Friendly - very dog friendly - those of you with dogs know this is rare -Microwave/fridge in room -Very nice, accommodating staff -Plenty of free parking (another rare find in a beach town) -Nice pool (weather was too cold to go in, but looked nice) -Great, free wifi -Cool little public balcony where you can sit and people watch everyone walking along U.S.1 -Terrific location - walking distance to all Dewey attractions, and on the beach side of U.S. 1. 5-minute drive from Rehoboth, about 20 minutes to Bethany. -Nice-sized rooms The bad (and none of this is the hotel's fault): -It was loud...very loud. Lots of partiers until about 2 a.m. -Location, while a plus, can also be a negative. It's right across from The Cork, so you can pretty much hear the music in your room til the band stops. -Did I mention it was really loud? We would definitely come here again. Next time I'm bringing my alarm clock, which has a nice sound machine on it so I can listen to waterfalls or train noises instead of crazy drunk people singing at the top of their lungs. I mean, it's Dewey. People party here. Work around it at bedtime, because otherwise, this is the perfect place to stay. This is a very nice, clean, friendly hotel. We liked it a lot. read more

We stayed here for New Year's Eve 2013. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was as would be expected for the price - clean enough and nice enough but not luxurious in any way. The only problems we experienced: - The deadbolt didn't lock. Not a huge issue because you could lock the doorknob. - In my boyfriend's word in reference to the pillows "You should have just slept in the parking lot and put your head on the curb." They were hard, lumpy and large. -The shower didn't drain. Again, not a huge issue unless you were taking a really long shower. Would definitely stay here again if we needed a cheap, close place in Dewey for the night. But the checklist of things to bring would include pillows. read more

Great location, but everywhere in Dewey beach is a great location. Dewey is beach block! Rooms are clean, bare bones to the T. Little things like having to ask for shampoo because they wouldn't stock when they serviced your room. Not a family hotel, I don't find Dewey beach a family place anyway. It's a small beach town, if you want to have fun and go to some great loud bars with lots of young drunk people this town is for you. This hotel is all about location. read more

Room was cleanish (age had made some of the items look DIRTY) hotel was cleanish (of course you must expect an old hotel to have years of wear and tear) staff was VERY POLITE close to the beach! Like, very close. Only reason I am not giving it a 5 star review is the pool and hot tub seemed to have an oil film floating on them and the (probably some other guests got in with a ton of sunning oils or lotions) and it could use a MAJOR upgrade. The rooms are so old and dated things seem dirty! Luckily I always travel with my own bed linens and Clorox wipes so it was no problem for me. I noticed people complain of bed bugs... sorry sweetie but most likely you experiences sand fleas which YOU brought in from the beach. So many people tend to just jump on the bed after soaking up the sun that it brings sand and sand bugs to your room. Stayed here for a weekend off season, the draw was a dog friendly hotel walkable to beach (2 blocks). Very happy with the cleanliness (covid precautions and just regular clean). We had room 103. Simple, but clean. Non carpet floors (I was worried about carpets in a dog friendly hotel). Beds reasonably comfortable. Not luxurious but I didn't pay for luxurious. Clean, comfortable, and that's what I wanted. Tv worked. Breakfast was ok - first morning I didn't know they could also toast bagels upon request but the worker volunteered that info the second morning and I was glad. Coffee was good. Our dog isn't a barker but did wake up to bark once or twice, I think because he heard other dogs around. But it was quiet other than that occasional bark. I could see how it might be louder during the on season because of proximity to many bars. We got take out from Mama Maria's, yummy. We walked to the Rehoboth boardwalk, doable but tiring on the beach. I recommend this hotel and I'd stay again for a similar weekend. read more

A lot of people complaining about the noise it seems. Guess what, it's a beach town, on the Main Street with a concert venue less than a block away. You're going to hear people outside. I heard people through the walls and windows of my four seasons stay, many times. That's hotel life. Also this resort is wonderfully priced, a great value and has a lot to offer. Stayed twice in one month. Pool, free breakfast, coffee all day, rooftop. Yes you are only allowed one car- normal at most small hotels in beach areas. Staff was wonderful, accommodating, kind. No complaints, good stay and call to make reservations. They're family owned :) read more

A little less than a block from the beach, great beach entrance with walkway... The hotel.... not so great. AC unit in the room ran cycles which kept me awake all night, floor was dirty when we arrived, cont. breakfast was a joke (maybe 3 bowls of cereal for all their rooms), coffee was horrible, staff wasn't great (the gentlemen that works there is super nice, all the women in the office were just about rude), and you have to use quarters to get ice. I found out when I was leaving that they will give you quarters in the office to get ice but no one informed me when I checked in. If they would clean up the rooms a little better and make the cont. breakfast worth it (and replace or fix ac unit(s), might not be a horrible stay, it would be a just not so bad stay. we paid for two nights and only stayed one. read more

This place is a dump. It is an Oceanside motel not a resort. What you see on the hotel's website is not what you get. They did a bait-and-switch. The website showed rooms with hardwood floors, but I got a room with old, dingy carpet. I was afraid to walk barefoot in there. I asked my neighbor if his room had hardwood floors, and he laughed. The microwave had to have been 40 years old. The chairs had cigarette burns, and the walkways were filthy. It rained while I was there so the Direct TV went out. The rooftop lounge is also the smoking area with ashtrays full of cigarette butts. The hotel staff is unfriendly, disorganized and very unprofessional. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. They have a bunch of uninterested, inattentive kids running the front desk. The manager is barely around. So, you'll have to wait until they can track her down to respond if you have issues. The worst part is that this awful place has a slew of reasons why they won't refund your money if you end your stay earlier than planned. If you're so grossed out that you decide to leave early, they may still try to charge you for the full stay. Because of their 7-day cancellation policy, the manager had to approve my refund for days that I no longer wanted to stay there. Their check-in policies state all kinds of reasons why they'll kick you out and keep your money for days you don't stay there This motel is very close to the beach, but that is the only good thing about it. You can find a nicer, cleaner hotel with much nicer amenities such as clean carpet, updated appliances, an elevator, a 49" tv, xfinity, and a coffee maker just across the street and down a couple blocks for the same money as Atlantic Oceanside will charge you. Do yourself a favor and DON'T stay here. More than you'll feel ripped off. read more

How fitting this resort has a mediocre rating of three stars. I just called and spoke to the receptionist, Veronica, and I have never been handled so rudely in my entire life. I stay at the Delaware beaches regularly for vacation every year. Take your business to the Hyatt or Surf Club. My interaction with the rude receptionist ensured I will never, ever stay there and give them business, and I will NEVER EVER conduct my own business with them. I am a professional consultant and I called here because the season had recently ended, and I am originally from Delaware so I know of the hotel. I was extremely polite, and professional and Veronica wasn't hearing any of it. Frankly, what started as business, turned personal. You think twice of how you speak to people. I'm not just a robot business person. I am a person with feelings who vacations in your town. I will ensure I will never stay here, I will tell everyone I ever interact with not to stay here, and when ever I conduct business or in personal life I tote being from DE and praise the beaches if someone asks for recommendations on where they should stay if they go on vacation at the Delaware beaches, I know where I will be able to specifically tell them not to. Reason: Terrible Customer service. The one thing you can't beat... great customer service. I've been in business for a while. I've been a human for 28 years, maybe you never learned the golden rule: "Treat others the way you would like to be treated." But if you haven't heard of it, I suggest your receptionist find a new line of work, or whoever Veronica is. I'm sorry... but I am not sorry. We stayed here because we were able to bring our dog. This motel has many good things going for it: friendly staff, clean rooms, decent pool, sun deck. Unfortunately we will not be staying here again because of the noise. Our room was on the first floor, Rt. 1 side. Because the motel is in close proximity to all the bars (especially Bottle and Cork), you can hear the loud music in your room. They don't stop playing until after 1:00 a.m. What was worse were the people walking by outside, screaming and talking loudly in the middle of the night like it was the middle of the afternoon. I am all for having a party, but when it's time to sleep, if I'm paying $329.00 a night, I want it to be quiet at bedtime. The motel should consider disclosing to those making a reservation that the music plays until 1:00 a.m., so there are no surprises for anyone who doesn't like this. They should also consider installing sound-proof windows and doors. Such a shame about the noise, because we really like this motel otherwise. One more thing to note: This isn't a place for older folks or those with small children. The clientele are mostly 20-30 year-old groups of friends who are there to party. read more

just renovated with nice floors (no carpet) and cute efficiency kitchen and shiplap feature wall makes a great impression. Bathroom has separate area for toilet and shower. Needs some hooks in bath and by sink. But final renovation was not quite finished. Convenient short walk to beach. Can walk to Woodys for a crab cake. read more

I will never stay here again. Upon entering the room I was overwhelmed with the strong smell of pinesol, like cover up the dead body smell strong. I'm not sure where they used it because the room felt dirty. The carpet was disgusting. The ceiling tiles strained. The staff, not all the friendly. Saturday morning at 7 the "free" breakfast area still wasn't open. I get it, who gets up at 7 on vacation? I do because of the running event taking place less than a quarter mile away. I had to Google the name of the hotel to get to front desk number because it is nowhere in the room. I was told "the sign says 8 but I'm opening now". I never did see that sign.....if you aren't going to have early hours, put coffee makers in the room. read more

First impression walking in the room was "are you kidding me?" Furniture was heavily worn and outdated. The comforter was covered in pet hair and had holes in it. I know it's a pet friendly place which is nice but at least throw the blankets in the dryer between guest to get the hair off. The bath towels were like sandpaper. Luckily we were there for only one night. If you are staying for a week a definitely wouldn't stay here. Pictures online are miss leading. The only reason I am giving two stars because it walking distance to everything and a block of from the beach. read more

I just stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights and we had a great time. The hotel is small but they keep it clean and care about their customers. The room was a little small but you get what you paid for. We had the Westside Queen facing the parking lot, which isn't as bad as it sounds because there are great views of the city. It is a 30 second walk to the beach but the pool was also cool and clean. Also the 4th floor has a huge sundeck facing the ocean so we just went up there when we wanted to see the beach. The bathroom is small, with the sink outside of the shower and toilet. We had a problem getting hot water at first but it was just finding where to turn the knob. The beds were comfy and the pillows were huge and really soft. The cleaning lady was sweet and did a great job cleaning our room. The beach chairs they offered really came in handy for a day on the beach and chocolate chip cookies in the lobby at 8pm were always a nice treat. The breakfast in the morning consisted of meat, vegetable and french toast quiches, bagels and cream cheeses, fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea, and a glass case of pastries. It was a nice way to fuel up before heading too the beach. We had a room away from the staircase (306) but the steps are loud so I advise asking for a room away from them. It was a quick walk to restaurants and bars but far enough away to not hear people raging all the time. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't have a hot tub! We just assumed they did and was a little disappointed when we found out there wasn't one. But other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel and it is my go to place in Dewey! read more

The reviews from the Dewey adventure continue... I must disagree with the other reviewer, I thought this place was above average for a motel, and the only thing that was truly gross was us. The Atlantic Oceanside motel is located smack dab in the middle of Dewey Beach one block from the ocean, and dangerously close to The Bottle and Cork. I thought the rooms were clean (when we arrived), all staff were cordial, and each room had a fridge, and a microwave. There is a pool, and an upstairs deck area overlooking Coastal Highway. For $88 a night this place is pretty cheap, and works wonderfully as a low budget crash pad. Free coffee in the am, as well. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days during the busy summer season. Clean, convenient location, efficiency king rooms are very nice for the money. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We noted that the hotel is dog friendly (as is the beach during certain hours) and are excited to bring our little pawed buddies back for a beach romp. Not a luxury hotel but if you're looking for a clean and convenient place to stay in Dewey... this is a good bet. read more
