Came here on our way thru town, was on a road trip so I was with my brother and nephew. They chose this spot, I actually had eaten during my work meeting so I had a shake and watched them enjoy lunch. Parking is in back, no issues there. It's a cool spot- restaurant on the ground floor, and upstairs they sell different things made locally, and also clothes. It was fun to walk around while the food was being made. Our server was Kara, and she was awesome! My nephew has a peanut allergy so she was checking in on the entire order and sides to be sure we were in the clear! She was so helpful and friendly, even when there was an issue it wasn't a giant deal. My nephew and I started out by looking at the protein shake menu. I chose the green goddess protein shake, and he went with the cocoa Berry. Let me just say that mine was so good I finished it quickly. Nephew ordered the garlic sweet chili hummus appetizer to start. It came with freshly cut pita quarters, carrots, and strips of yellow and red peppers. Fresh, crunchy, hummus was absolutely addictively delicious and more than enough to share! He then got the pesto panini, my older brother ended up landing on the Italian panini (they sold out of the corned beef). He also got the soup special, stuffed cabbage soup and that looked really delicious and piping hot. Lots of cabbage and meat along with the broth. I had FOMO for sure. One panini came with a side salad, the other chose the tomato, onion, and cucumber salad that came with balsamic. So tasty I tried it later bc we took it to go, and I ate it all! Really great atmosphere and concept. On our way out we had a conversation with the manager/owner, and it was really pleasant. The weather was awful, but our stop here was a bright beacon and a memorable stop. Support small owned businesses! read more

December's monthly brunch for a girl's Xmas exchange. I had never been here before, wow, What a cozy, girlie (in the best way) spot! I feel like homes as restaurants is a dying art. We HAD to start with the $16 bottomless mimosas * yum. I got a simple order of avocado toast with added eggs, which hit the spot for an easy meal, and the others got the breakfast burger & a panini. The ladies were super kind and it was a great spot. Our friend had her baby shower here, and from what I heard it was BEAUTIFUL!!! we didn't, but check out the Two Twisted Sisters shops! read more

Such a quaint spot! There is outdoor seating in warmer weather as well. They have a coffee and smoothie bar as well as a pretty amazing gift shop upstairs. You can park across the street in the church parking lot of on the street and walk over. Or use the Baldwinsville main park lot and cross over the bridge by foot. They do have a small parking lot, but I don't count on it having spots all the time. The staff has super friendly every time I've been in. If they have the mousse it's a must!! read more

Upon entering today we were greeted by the owner Tia, we were right away shown to our table outside by Jenny, our server. She was attentive, friendly and knew the menu well. I have a gluten issues and Olives caters to this with no problem with delicious options. I had the Chubby chicken panini and my daughter had the roast beef panini. The food is so wonderful and they are now starting up a brunch on weekends. Tia has redesigned the interior which includes a bar that serves wine. The atmosphere is so inviting and intimate. It's right up there with the restaurants in Baldwinsville with its own uniqueness and should not be overlooked! It's my favorite. read more

I've been here before but I heard they have new Owners and wanted to check it out. The main floor has been changed to all seating and a small bar. I love it! The upstairs now has all the vendors with jewelry, clothes, candles, soaps, baby items... many cool things. We were greeted by Claire our server and seated. She was very friendly and put on a fresh pot of coffee for us. My sister & I didn't want a whole panini so we split the chicken salad panini with a side of black bean salad. We also had a cup of soup. I had the special of stuffed pepper and my sister the french onion. Both were served with toasted garlic bread (yum). The sandwich was split for us and we each got a generous side of that black bean salad. We finished with a slice of homemade coconut cream pie. Everything was delicious and service was amazing! What a lovely little restaurant, locally owned and operated. My hubby and I had our Valentine Day lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I made reservations, and upon arrival, was led to a table with a small decorative chalk board with my name. I advise making recommendations because the dining rooms are small.The menu contained many cocktails, wines and craft beer in addition to a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I ordered a white sangria which tasted more like a mimosa, with orange juice, fruit and something sparkling. If I received the wrong drink, I didn't care. I started with a cup of tomato bisque soup, the daily special. This was full bodied and contained some texture with veggies and tomatoes. For a main I had the tuna panini. Delightful! Sandwiches come with the side and I chose a small side salad, which was lovely. Because it was Valentine's Day. I decided to order dessert. And was so glad I did. The carrot cake was awesome. Service is great, and the food was delivered promptly though I never felt rushed. The interior of the restaurant is very homey with two small dining rooms. There is a gift shop as you enter and throughout the restaurant, you can also see various items for sale. It very much has a tea shop feel to it. This is one of my favorite spots for lunch! They make everything fresh and it taste amazing! The staff is always super friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and the decor is adorable! It's a beautiful little gem in baldwinsville, I highly reccomend! My favorite is their paninis and the trio of warm dips, they are all spectacular! The flavor is outstanding and you can taste that everything is made fresh! The trio of warm dips is large enough to be a meal for 3 people! It's oh so tasty and there is a spinach artichoke dip, Buffalo chicken dip and a white bean dip served with fresh warm tortilla chips, pita bread and toasted French bread. If you don't finish it all you'll have a wonderful snack to take home for later! Even my two young boys loved the food here and they are picky. I normally come here with girlfriends for lunch, we celebrate birthdays and more, but recently I treated my boys to lunch and all the staff were sweet to my boys! A nice bonus upstairs they sell locally handcrafted items from candles, jewelry, scarfs to decor; even my boys loved shopping. On a warm day they have a lovely spot to eat outside and enjoy the fresh air. I have yet to do this, but it looks wonderful. They are located right in the heart of baldwinsville so you could make an afternoon of it to get lunch and take a walk over the bridge to see the Seneca river. read more

We stopped in here after dress shopping. It is such a cute place, with a beautiful patio, tons of little stores inside, and the quaint little restaurant. Charming. Great service. Great food!! Was so disappointed when we moved to Baldwinsville a couple months ago when I looked around and all the Resturant's were chains. So thankful that's not actually the case. Olives is by far nothing like the chains on RT 31. It is unique and charming and everything you'd want in a local spot. I had their special mocha mint coffee. It was amazing. Can't wait to see if they'll have it again...maybe next Christmas at the very least?! I also ordered the soup and sandwich special. Me, my wife and son stopped here on vacation when we were visiting my nieces new baby. It is an awesome place for lunch that is very cute. We are vegetarian so we had the mushroom panini and the caprese panini. Both were soooo good. The sides were coleslaw which was very good, and the black bean salad which was really good. A cute and delicious eatery with a warm beautiful heart. My wife and I wanted to bring her family out to celebrate our daughter's second birthday and decided on Olive's so they could enjoy a different experience. Little did we know at that time, we too would be in for a pleasant surprise. My wife called them the day before on our way in from NYC and made the reservation. Sue was really accommodating as it was 10 of us and not everyone could wanted to sit outside in the heat. A little bit later we get a call back from Sue asking about the birthday girl so she could make it a bit special for her. How nice! The next day, we all arrived with the table really nicely set up - pink and white ribbons everywhere, and a little placard wishing here a happy birthday and a card signed by everyone at Olive's!! So very thoughtful! Everyone was really touched then the food started rolling in - every dish from appetizers to the main course was amazing. I'm on vacation from North Carolina and had driven through Canada and exited through Northern New York coming down the highway it was about lunch time so I thought well I'll try to find something interesting on Yelp for lunch. I put in restaurants near me and up popped Olive's Eatery and I thought okay let's give it a try. So I followed the directions and I really enjoyed the little ride through the Syracuse Countryside found the little. Eatery and went in the back way of course the wrong way and found my way to the front. I was greeted by a nice lady who said you know I could sit anywhere and the place was absolutely the cutest thing. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at it and getting ideas and it took a little while for the waitress to come over because she she came over and brought me and on the back was the menu very cute I picked out to have the Popeye it's called it was a panini with turkey and cheese and a side of side dish it was very good. While they were bringing me or getting me my lunch I took a minute to walk around two sisters and it is a cute Boutique with hats and jewelry and bags and just anything a lady would like and upstairs they had Christmas stuff and it was just a lovely place for ladies to lunch. Nothing over the top but exactly what you'd want out of a restaurant like this. Went for dinner on a Friday night and was seated immediately, as their business is slower during the winter months. Very dirty inside! The water tastes like sewer water, I'm not even kidding! I don't drink soda, but I had to order one because I couldn't even handle their water. The restaurant itself is very dirty inside. There is dust on everything on the walls, hanging over your seat and food. It grossed me out. I wonder what the kitchen looks like?? It's a very cute and quaint place and I love the idea, but they just need to clean better because looking at years of dust while I eat the food was a turn off. read more
