Southern Tier Creme Brûlée and Pumking
    Jacquelyn N.

Came in at 10pm on a Monday night and was greeted by Ashley. She was super sweet and more than happy to help me try out a few different beers. Sammy's offered a great beer selection. I ordered their Southern Tier Pumking. They serve $5 pizza, and $1 off all drafts (during NFL and Syracuse basket/football games). PS, I heard their $5 roast beef sandwich is amazing.. Can't wait to try it! The decor and vibe of Sammy's is the perfect environment to enjoy a drink and some good company. Would recommend this to all locals and visitors of Bville!

Decent selection of beer. Went on a week night - almost all male patrons in the bar. The thing to get is the roast beef sandwich, Very flavorful and well prepared. I would go back for the roast beef sandwich for sure. They do not serve french fries..fyi.

Nice little bar with decent food with a very friendly atmosphere and staff. Stopped here on my travels thru. price reasonable great selection of craft beers that alone makes the trip worth it I also came with my teenage daughter and didn't feel as if I was in a bar

Typical local pub. Nice selection of beer and wine. Small menu. I had the select a salad and it was exceptional. The panni was good too.

This place was nice but in all fairness I only stayed for one drink. It was a Saturday night and super busy. I wouldn't recommend driving far to go here, but if you are in Baldwinsville this is one of the better places.

Have loved coming here for drinks with friends over the years. Very intimate spot by the Seneca River with an extensive selection of bottles and drafts. Came here recently on a Saturday afternoon when a friend suggested we stop for lunch. Lunch? Who knew they served food here?!? We were waited on right away and placed our orders. Quite a variety of sandwiches, burgers, paninis and wraps. Emphasis on their roast beef sandwich with a few variations of this staple. Ordered the chicken panini- wife and friend had the roast beef. Everyone seemed satisfied with their meals. Sammy Malones is already an anchor of the Bville 4 corners area- now I will remember to stop here for a bite!

    Winter tap list.

I arrived about 5 minutes early and was greeted by the friendly staff member on the small takeout side of the restaurant. I paid, 39 dollars and change for a large specialty pizza and an order of wings, which I think is fair. I waited for my food to be ready and then waited till I arrived home to eat. The pizza was a large chicken wing pizza which was interesting, though not in a bad way. The pizza came in 12 very unevenly cut (triangle) slices. This doesn't bother me at all and in some respects could be a benefit for portion control. The pizza was cooked well and was perfectly taken out right before it would've been crispier than I like. There was a nice chew to the dough as well. Not quite thin crust. The chicken was well portioned and the Buffalo was just a standard mild sauce- I would've perferred hot but to each their own. The interesting inclusion was chopped celery atop the pizza. I've never seen this before but I admit it was a nice inclusion even though I was skeptical. It adds a nice texture to each bite. The sauce on the wings was hot bbq. Which again, wasn't as spicy as I would've liked but good nonetheless. The wings came in an order of 10 (booooooooo). I would've liked more sauce on the wings but I'm sure I could've asked for that. The ride home ensured the wings would not be very crispy- which I was fine with because I don't like super crispy wings. You may want to account for this if you are someone who loves super crispy wings. All in all, there's some things I'd do different if I order from Pizza Man again, but I was pleased with the meal.

The dining room was spacious and clean and bright as were the servers and the bartenders who expertly served us. They have a happy hour from 5 to 7 that varies each day so on this Thursday was half price on selected appetizers as well as $2.50 domestic select drafts. We got there about 10 after five and the bar quickly filled up, which seemed to be regulars, which was a good sign. We decided to linger a little bit over our first drinks and ordered deep fried cheese curds with a delicious margarita type tomato sauce. I had never had fried cheese curds and they were plentiful and came out steaming hot topped with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, unfortunately I did not take a picture as we were hungry and dove right in. When it was time for our second drink, I pondered over their wine list, but decided that with my Reuben and mac & cheese dinner a cold draft would suffice. My husband ordered the Philly cheesecake sandwich and onion rings. The mac & cheese and the onion rings were up charges of $2.50 and they were worth it. The cheesesteak sandwich was not shaved beef, but wonderfully thick pieces of beef on a perfectly toasted bun type with cheese and peppers. The onion rings were generous as well as crisp and not overly breaded. My Reuben was perfectly toasted on a delicious rye bread with just the right amount of sauce to not make it soggy. The star was their mac & cheese served in a steaming hot crock! It was creamy, not too cheesy, but cheesy enough to know that you were digging into a delicious bite of mac & cheese.. well done kitchen! All in all the meal was so large we could only eat half of it and brought it home for another day. We would certainly return as we enjoyed every bit of our evening. The patio looked invited and will be opening soon. They also have live entertainment to enjoy.

They chose the spot, and I'm glad they did! It was Thursday night, opening night of March Madness- and they also had a euchre tournament going on too...at least I think it was euchre? Parking was tough because it was so busy. We were able to get a table for dinner, and Bailey Z was our server. She was great! Friendly, helpful and professional. Never needed to ask for anything because she had it covered. I had a big lunch, and my nephew and brother also had a late lunch so I tried to go "light". Haha Started with a Bloody Mary with no garnishes, asked for some spice and it delivered! They were running a specials menu, so I started with the Reuben egg rolls. Super crunchy, had great flavor, and it had to have been a homemade 1000 island dressing. It was heavenly. My brother went with the Turkey Cobb salad, it was giant, bountiful, and looked really robust. My nephew ordered 20 wings to share with everyone. Half garlic parm, half sweet chili. Blue cheese also seemed to be homemade, I automatically ask for extra and it was worth it. I ordered the French onion soup, and the bacon cheeseburger dip which came with tricolored tortilla chips, seasoned and a perfect vehicle for the dip. Everyone was happy with the food. Too happy, we had leftovers and I have to say that the Reuben rolls and wings were still good as leftovers. It's a good thing I don't live in Syracuse because I'd have been there every weekend. It was packed inside, so we knew it was popular. Thanks to Bailey and the team for a great evening! I'll be back!

I had a cheeseburger, my wife had fish tacos, and our daughter had the chicken sandwich. The two sandwiches came with fries (which were a wee bit on the salty side, but good). We all enjoyed our food, and it was reasonably priced. We will definitely go back there. The concert venue across the driveway was spacious, and had great acoustics.
