Awesome Campground! A great mixture of RVs, pop ups, and tents. They even have great looking cabins available to rent. We stayed for 8 days. The owner and the staff truly care about the campground and the experience of the campers! The campground is clean. The bathrooms are cleaned twice a day- and really looked after! Campsites are groomed before you pull in. There are activities each weekend, beach passes available to LBI (only 15 minutes away), the pool is great, play areas and activities for kids and teens! There also is a camp store, snack bar and laundry room! We will definitely return! read more

They deserve 5 stars for cleanliness and the campground is well maintained. Overall only 3 stars, there is room for improvement with updating the policies on there homepage, information available is either outdated or incomplete. I called in a couple days before to ask about the number of tents allowed per plot and was informed only one, so we purchased a bigger tent for this reason. I couldn't find this information anywhere on their webpage and thought the number of people staying in the tent is not important. This led to a negative experience checking in, we ended up paying for a second plot because we were 7 people, so we exceeded by 1 headcount according to the lady checking us in, I believe she is the owner. I couldn't find any write ups proofing that this is true. Feel like we payed to much without knowing if we really needed to. Luckily we had a second tent and two people out of our group stayed at that second plot. Overall great experience and I would stay again, staff was very friendly. Again, would be a simple task to update the information on the webpage, especially for first time campers like me this would be a great improvement. read more

We have two young boys, ages 5 and 2.5, so we were looking for a family-friendly campground for tent campers. The cost for a site with electric and water is very reasonable, especially as compared to other campgrounds close to the shore. The campground was populated mostly with seasonal campers, and we were surprised to see how empty the campground seemed for a weekend in the middle of July. The campground offered free beach passes for Ship Bottom (with a fully-refundable deposit of $45), which was about 20 minutes away. It was a nice day trip. Our original site had a fair amount of broken glass, but the owner quickly assigned us a new site and had someone out cleaning up the original site that afternoon. Our campsite was moderately sized and well-shaded. We were close to the bathrooms and pool, which were both well maintained and clean. The chemicals used to clean the bathroom were so strong that they burned our eyes for a few hours after it was cleaned, but I would rather that than a dirty bathroom. The store was well stocked and the snack bar was nice for an evening ice cream or treat. The boys really enjoyed soaking each other in the water playground. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I would say the only big drawback for us was that the campground seems to be geared for families with older kids. The Saturday night of our stay, they had a DJ in the main pavilion who played very loud music from 8 -10 pm. Trying to get our guys to bed around 9 was tough. The DJ is apparently a frequent weekend activity. Overall, we had a great weekend, but probably won't be returning until our kids have later bedtimes. read more

My family has been coming here for the past 25 years. My father started coming here with my oldest daughter when she was 4 and we have pretty much come here every year since. We have had a seasonal site here for 10 years is so. There are always activities on the weekends for the kids (my grandkids try to do them all). Don't always get here every weekend but we always come for the Hawaiian weekend in August and the Halloween weekends in October. The pool and water park are a big hit with the kids. read more

RV set up. Nice access from Garden State Parkway, which we drove down and back the entire way from/to NY. Access road is dirt. Trees hang over the road and need TRIMMING. Scratched up my RV down the right side, not little ones either. Drive the center, if you can; we couldn't because of exiting traffic. Sites are mostly sand, though this is the Pine Barrens. We stay for only 2 nights, and wasn't bad. 3-way hookup, though sanitary runs uphill; bring an old gutter to slope under your san hose. A few easy miles to a brand new Wal-Mart. Would probably stay again. Folks at check-in seemed nice and there was nice distance between the RV spots. Store seemed pretty well stocked. Exiting the pull through spots and driving through the park to exit was a little tight in some places due to sheds encroaching upon the access road by full-timers. read more

First off, the driveway going in was worse than things I've seen in Iraq and Afganistan (MAJOR CRATERS)! BEWARE OF FEES AND CANCELLATION POLICIES!! I booked a weekend for next month and left, upon checking yelp, we found out they DO NOT HAVE CABLE OR WIFI, I called back 30 minutes later to cancel and was told that they were going to hold $10 persite(2 sites)= $20 from my refund! If this is the way this campground operates, I will never stay there. They call it a family campground, but every child over 3 has to pay an extra fee! Stay away, just my thoughts! read more

CAMPERS BEWARE We have been coming to this campground for years and have never questioned the rates. We booked a weekend at the end of the season in 2018 and wanted to stay at this campground because it's close to home. We didn't plan on Mother Nature throwing a hurricane our way but with the high winds we did not want to risk our lives. My wife called and spoke to someone there who told her she will not get any money back and cannot use it for future stays. Now what I don't understand is how someone who has been giving you business for years would not at least be given a credit to use at another date. If I ran my business this way I wouldn't have any customers. I am not writing this to try getting my money back. I am writing this to inform others including the six friends I have who have camped here to think twice before booking. I am not one to ever give one star but I think this deserved it read more

This is the best campground we have stayed at in over 20 years of camping. Very clean, roomy sites and the cleanest, bug free bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Nice pool and playground and lots of weekend activities for the kids. Game and fitness rooms, nicely stocked store, snack bar and pancake breakfast on Sundays. Most campgrounds in the area are dirty and have too many rundown seasonal trailers. This one is well maintained and the owners work hard to make it a great place to camp. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. We have stayed 5 times and will keep coming back. read more

This campground is perfect for families. PROS: The sites have plenty space; the facilities are clean and well kept. The sprayground is awesome for the kids. They have a beautiful deck between the pool and sprayground. Lots to do: basketball and volleyball courts, a full activity schedule on weekends, and a playground. Theme weekends are fun. Nice cafe, game room and store. Great affordable Sunday breakfast. CONS: This is a big pet peeve of mine, but I hate when you can't tell where your site is because it's not clearly marked. This campground loses points for that. Sandy and buggy, be prepared for that. The pool is small. The activity coordinator is new so I think after a season she'll be a bit more organized. Several of the arcade games take your quarters but don't play the games...it'll say .50 for a game but you end up spending .75 or $1 before some actually play. read more

Great campground. Most sites are sand, but you're near the beach, so it adds to the fun. The sites are big and there is lots of room between rigs. There is a playground and a pool, which is a decent size. The whole campground is clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is no cable, and there is a charge for the WIFI. No security at night, either. Plenty of seasonals, but the residents are friendly. Will definitely go back. read more

We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin just this last week, and it was a great experience! As a part of your stay, you have access to beach badges on Ship Bottom, LBI. There is a pool, a water playground, and such wonderfully friendly people! We were definitely outsiders, but felt at home with all of the seasonal renters. DO NOT GO!!! 1 mile up the road is another campground that I checked out when I was leaving this campground. It is the same price and it looked much better. It's called Sea Pirate. First of all, I'm a family of four: mom dad and 2 little kids. They charged daily for my own children!!!!!! Next, the showers they say are free are operated by a chain that you have to pull continuously. Also the free beach tags that they speak of are always unavailable. Last, but definitely not least was the fact that I asked them to recommend a site because I had not been there before. There were about 20 sites available at that time. They recommended a site for me where I was literally in the middle of a family reunion. People pulled up their trucks and set up about 2 tents on each site with at least 100 people with them. They had a fiesta that lasted from about 7 AM until 1 AM and they used their trucks as a radio blasting them up two full volume and then opening up all the doors. They proceeded to walk back and forth to each other to the number of at least 300 times a day. They seem to be unaware of camping ediquitte as they actually slowed down to stare at us as they walked by using our campsite as a walkway. I attempted to communicate with them about not walking on our campsite, but they were non-English-speaking and I am not sure they understood me. Besides, There were about 100 of them and it was impossible to tell all of them to please stop walking through our campsite. When I went to the manager who's name I believe it is Jess, she would not accommodate us to another area nor refund our money for the next 2 nights that we already paid with our credit card!!! After ruining our vacation, they wouldn't even refund the money we paid for the upcoming nights!!! So they kept our money and my family and I left early and did not stay for fourth of July Festivities. Stay somewhere else if you're a family thinking about camping!! read more

sites are great...very clean, well kept and spacious....only one bathroom is a huge downfall....if they happen to be cleaning you are out of luck! they weren't really all that clean anyhow! also we went for halloween...what a joke! dont know why they bother to call the costume contest a contest....it was totally fixed...the so called judges didnt even look at everyone....they just picked out 2 little kids that they knew! read more
