We spent a few days in the Trumansburg/Ithaca area. Atlas Bowl was hands down THE BEST DINNER SPOT we tried! The menu had a huge variety. As a vegetarian, I had several delicious options. The portobello mushroom sandwich was amazing! The retro vibe of the decor is swell. Our server fit the vibe. She was very attentive and very personable! I have one complaint and it was a kid's birthday party. The children bowled and shrieked LOUDLY! As a mom, the sounds coming from them made me think something was very wrong. My heart dropped several times! Apparently that is how they bowl. It would have been nice if management had told them to tone it down. It was obnoxious and went on far too long.

    All in for the Brussels!!

Great date night spot! Easy, fun, different, great people watching and then theres the food. Do it...don't second guess going! The special Rosepetal Martini and the Basil Smash were both so refreshing and delicious! We had super tasty Brussels which were fried then topped with bacon and sharp Parmesan which made them so sinful. We each followed up with tacos. We chose the fish and carnitas variety's. They are super tasty and huge portions. This isn't a bowling alley with a restaurant feel. It's more of a restaurant that happens to have a bowling alley in it. Fantastic vibe with a retro flair. Go go go!!!

Fun place; not at all a traditional bowling spot. Really good and plentiful food. Wait staff was at first pretty aloof and took a bit long to get back to our table for order, but seemed to warm up by end of meal. Would return if in the area; seems a great place to chill and have a good time.

Really fun, modern atmosphere. We each had tacos, the chicken fajita and the calabacitas. Both pretty good. We had the special of roasted veggies from the local farmers market just up the road open on Wednesdays from 4-7. They had great flavor, although I wish they were roasted longer. We sat right next to the 7 bowling lanes. Seemed like a tight space, but we went to bowl a few days later and it was cool. They charge $25 by the hour and $1 shoe rental. Seems alright for just two people, not ideal for a group. It is not not timed, and it was suggested we put a timer ourselves to keep track. Man that hour went fast, finished two games in exactly the right amount of time! Also, you have to manually keep score, which was kinda fun. As we walked to our lane, we already had water waiting for us at the table and we placed our things in the cubbies below the seat. We ordered dessert of the apple pie (warm and tasty) and a small coffee milkshake, which was just alright. Not much coffee flavor and wasn't at all thick.. Service was great all around. I would recommend checking Atlas Bowl for some good food and a fun night out.

Very unique cocktails! My first visit, I tried the ruby slipper, braulio sour, and the mango lassi. The mango lassi is incredible! It is my favorite drink at Argos! The ruby slipper and braulio sour were also quite tasty but I preferred the ruby slipper a tad more. My second visit, I tried the grapefruit soda (not artificial tasting at all), the Shark Juice (tasted a bit too much like cologne, wasn't a fan), and the Gigi (couldn't taste the hojicha, liked the concept more than the execution). I would get the Gigi again, but would pass on the Shark Juice. Sitting inside, I enjoyed the quieter and calmer atmosphere as well as the soft lighting. The interior decor is very cosy and slightly eclectic. I came with a friend on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty which was nice. The outdoor patio space is very nice- I like the lanterns on the walls and the whole space is quite charming. I left with a few mosquito bites though. Overall, I would recommend Argos Inn!

The menu itself is short and focused, while the interior of the restaurant features wallpaper with anthropomorphic animals, and large windows. I opted for the Burger, and my wife the Salmon. We also ordered the grilled dates and collard greens. I also decided on a Ginger Beer. They serve Goslings (since 1806), with all 47 grams of sugar, over ice and a lime. Highly recommended on the ginger beer flavor scale. The Burger came with a massive amount of their duck-fat fried fries, certainly more potato than burger. I also liked the burger with the added bacon. But my wife's Salmon was even tastier. It featured a nice hunk of fish, skin-on, crispy, and not some half-or-quarter fillet that other places might serve. Plus, it comes over a bed of green peas and canneli beans and green asparagus sauce on the bottom, and a small bed of frisée on top. The combination with the lemon cream leads to very satisfying bites. The grilled dates wrapped in bacon, with goat cheese, Marcona almonds, and honey were presented as a drumstick. The collard greens were nice, though on the saltier side. Seating here can be had inside or out. The bathrooms are located in the hallway next to the restaurant.

Richard and I were looking for a lovely place to say goodbye to lake Seneca on our final day of our…read moretrip. We also wanted somewhere to take our pure bred toy poodle, Lady Dionne. because lady Dionne can only eat human food as prescribed by her nutritional and spiritual Guide, Debra. (She's French) "oui" needed a classy joint that would cater to mama d (aka lady Dion) this is why we chose 3812. We had a reservation for 6:45 and we arrived fashionably late (6:48) ready to shove some rah rah down our gullets. My husband Richard had actually prepped his throat by lubing it a teeny bit with his great aunt's special sauce (it's just Olive Garden Italian dressing™) Instead of being led to our table like you would at a normal human restaurant, the child at the counter said "your table is back there go find u you old hag" after we did that and bodied it down at our table we were verbally assaulted as a way of greeting by our waitress. In doing so, lady Dionne let out a yell that was so damn loud, it broke a vase and popped my hernia. After the incident, we took a moment to pursue the menu. The options are as follows: sandwich, taco, burger, knock off Olive Garden. We got two appetizers which arrived before we were even able to order our meals (just to explain the timing of everything) and the food was just okay mamma I'll tell you that. Then it was time for us to wait 3 hours for our food. During this time we begged the gods and our ancestors that we honor on our ofrenda to do something, ANYTHING , so we could get our food soon. We hadn't seen a worker in what felt like years. Then finally it happened, we found a member of staff. Could he read? No. Could he write? Not fully. Was he bipedal! Of course not! But he was the most attentive employee. He also was in fact a chocolate lab. His named was rocky and him and lady Dionne went through an enemies to lovers. You could cut the sexual tension with a knife!! at this point we were getting so ravenous, Richard actually suggested getting a spit roast started at one point so I needed to use my body to protect rocky from his hungry and searching hands . Richard was completely non verbal. I watched in horror as Richard went through his war flashbacks in silence. (This is what happens to Richard when his sugar gets low) we asked rocky to see where the food was. Also just to set the vibe, we were the only people in the restaurant, I learned that the other table were actually just employees!!! (They got served very fast btw) rocky came back and spoke to us in English. He said "I don't know where your food is but I would like to ask lady Dionne for her hand in marriage" After the nuptials were finalized our food finally came. The burger was 8 oz of two inch thick, overcooked and in seasoned beef!!! It was disgusting and lady Dionne agreed. She prefers her purina. The chicken parm is much better at Olive Garden. At least when you are there, they treat you like family. The fries were nasty. the only good item was the stir fry but let's be honest... it's kind of impossible to mess up. This place has a 4.5 on yelp. And I just want to meet some of the girl boss mamas who rated this a five star and asked, who paid them, and how I can also get paid to write good reviews because review writing is something I am very good at as you can tell. At the beginning of the meal, I was actually considering ordering the crème brûlée. But I realized that I ultimately had to chose between ordering a dessert or seeing my grand children grow up. (Because it would take 20 years) anyway this place was not great at all and shouldn't have the rating it does. But I guess because of lady Dionne's nuptials with rocky, we are family. Good thing lady d always does a prenup and her lawyer is on speed dial. my recommendation is to not go here. okay thanks love ya!

My favorites were the Fruit of the Bloom which is infused with ginger as well as the Funkhouse. I liked how crisp the funkhouse was and I loved the ginger note in fruit of the bloom. The others were okyay too, persici was very sweet but paired nicely with the ginger hazelnut baklava which was incredible! I am allergic to pistachios, so I loved that I could eat their baklava! We also tried the cornbread with strawberry and jalapeno butter- absolutely incredible. I am from the south and have had a lot of cornbread but this truly stands out. It came out warm with a slight crunch from the crust while maintaining the perfect crumb inside. Just crumbly enough and not too try! I also really enjoyed the jalapeno and strawberry butters- you can tell they use high quality butter, they almost reminded me of goat cheese. I preferred the jalapeno butter a tad more but both were great! The exterior is beautiful- the views are very nice. I would highly recommend coming on a warm day and sitting outside. We initially sat on the balcony but moved due to the bees. The tables underneath the white tent were shaded and bee-free. Service was pretty quick- our ciders came out almost immediately. We had to wait ~10-15 minutes for the cornbread though, but I didn't mind especially given it was warm! Overall, I would highly recommend!
