We had visitors staying in our place and wanted to get rid of the boxes fast. So I called my former courier service provider but as usual they always have to have you on schedule first. Like I said we had visitors and had to take them around the next days and I dont have time to wait on their "convenient time". I was frustrated because it was the second time this happened. Said to myself, might as well try other courier service that could deliver the same service at lesser cost and faster pick up speed. I called up Atlas and spoke to the rep, she said shell call back to let me know what time it'll be pick up. Not more than 2 minutes she called back confirming that pick up will be arriving in 10-15minutes. Wow talk about FAST! In less than 10 minutes Byron called me up and said hell be here to pick it up in less than 10 minutes. Byron was courteous, friendly and he got the job done literally in 10 minutes! All in all I spent less than 30 minutes in calling and sending the box. Thats how it is supposed to be, service at your convenient time not the other way around. Worst Cargo company! You have been warned. Irvine office customer service is unprofessional, especially Marie. The customer service line is useless! My package was picked up on Feb 27 and suppose ship out that weekend, but found out it didn't ship until March 18. Now the packages will not arrive in time. I will be back in the US before it arrives to the Philippines! When trying to get to the root cause the customer service line, the branch and driver kept having me contact the branch, the driver, customer service. They just keep pointing fingers! They are not offering a refund for their extreme tardiness! All they can offer is that if the package is lost it's insured for $200. Just the worst! Find another shipper! read more

On 2-28-17 I shipped a "Macho Box" from Orange County to the Philippines. Shipping is door-to-door. The box was picked up at my storage in Anaheim by the truck driver Byron, who arrived on time per our pickup appointment. Byron helped create a packing list and the Shipping Invoice and was fast, friendly and helpful. The box was shipped out of Long Beach on the following Friday, 3 days after pickup. I was able to track the shipment on the Atlas website, which was reassuring. Just type in your invoice number in the field on the home page and it will tell you status. The box was delivered to a Philippines province destination in 52 days on 4-21-17, which is close enough to the promised expected delivery of approximately 45 days. From time of arrival in the local province warehouse, it took 3 days to be delivered one hour away. Therefore, it took 46 days from the date of shipment from Long Beach to a province local warehouse. The box was delivered on a Saturday to a residential address after the recipient was phoned in advance. Many thanks to the driver Byron, who gave me his cell phone number to co-ordinate the pickup. Last week I shipped a second Macho Box, with good co-ordination again from Byron, who is a credit to the company. read more

I don't know where to begin my review because I am so mad, disappointed with the service I got from Atlas. Sent 8 macho plus some junior boxes early October 2018 for our holiday trip. We received 3 macho boxes Dec.27 but we were promised that we will receive them before Christmas before we sent them. Atlas had been my family's trusted cargo company for years! Six years ago, I shipped about 5 jumbo Balikbayan boxes and Byron, the gentleman who helped me then was so helpful, accommodating and so memorable that I made sure I took his cell phone number for future shipment. Fast forward 6 years later, I needed to send 4 jumbo boxes again and i searched my phone for Byron's number hoping it was still his number! He immediately responded and within 2 days he was back to pick up our boxes! He said he would be here between 9 am - 10:30 am and he was right on time! I overpacked my boxes and some of them were bursting at the seams but all I could hear from him was, "It's okay.. we'll take care of that..." within minutes our boxes were loaded, documents signed and before he left, he even gave me extra jumbo boxes and 3 small boxes. I asked what those boxes were for and he said, one small box free for every jumbo box sent! Wow! What a wonderful surprise! He also gave me a tracking number and a number to call if I have any questions. He is very professional. I highly recommend Byron, and the staff at Atlas Shippers in Irvine for sending your precious boxes to your loved ones in the Philippines. I cannot believe their office hours - they are only open when it is convenient to the person in charge that day. I guess they do not want to earn more business from people who sends stuff to their families in the Phils. Don't believe what they tell you. They are liars. Boxes will be delayed. Plus, if you are sending several boxes, they won't necessarily all delivered on the same day. Also the promotion regarding the rice, that's BS. The employees here in Las Vegas don't care whether your boxes are delivered. This is the worst shipping company I've ever did business with. They have a note there that you have to have your boxes picked up on a certain period of time so it can reach its destination in time for Christmas. I'm sending 2 boxes to the Philippines. And I had it picked up for shipment way too ahead of the time frame they gave their customers, oct 10, 2019, to be exact. But up until now, it's still at their warehouse in Manila. My sister, who's the consigned, called them up to make sure that they deliver it on weekdays cause it's addressed to her office. So we thought everything is gonna be ok. But come dec. 20, there was no delivery yet. My sister told me to contact them here. So I did that. Was able to talked with Nedy, and she told me that there was a delay cause the delivery is only on weekdays, and they do their delivery mostly on Saturdays. REALLY???? Why didn't they told me that there's going to be a problem about that, I should have change the delivery address to my mom's home address. Now, my sister called their Manila office and she was told they don't have a scheduled delivery by Ermita, where my sister's office is located. WHAT???IS THAT OUR PROBLEM??? I PAID SO MUCH MONEY FOR MY BOXES TO BE SHIPPED TO MY SISTER SND THIS ATLAS HAS THE NERVE TO TELL US ABOUT NOT HAVING A DELIVERY SCHEDULE THERE????WTF??? They are pretty reliable when shipping of boxes to the Philippines. So far stuff has not been stolen from the boxes by employees like with LBC. It's better to use the phone number of Byron who does the pick up (since talking to the people at the office has a waste of time) Aug 2016 (minus one star): do not buy a box at this office without a receipt particularly if you're getting a macho box and they've run out of junior boxes. Shipped on 5/11/18 bound for Davao. Arrived at the Manila warehouse on 6/21/18. Customer service cannot hazard a guess as to when it might actually deliver to Davao. Answers were heavily punctuated by a "possible" - "...it's possible they might load the box tonight..," "...it's possible it might ship to Davao this week...," "it's possible that we'll have an update by 7am your time..." It's smart customer service to spin your replies in a way that they are uncompromising, but how about upping your service by not promising a 45 days to 2 mos.' delivery? You're a shipper and shipping is service so just for shoddy service and we-don't-care attitude, my single star rating is left hinging on the hope that the boxes arrive intact. read more

So far we're very satisfied with the service of ATLAS. They give reasonable price and with free junior box if you're going to send Macho or regular box. Andrew is the one who always assist us with our package. He always reply promptly whenever we text him to pick up our boxes, he is very nice and professional. We contact him at I (714) 586-0076. It usually takes 1 month to deliver from here, Irvine California to Manila, Philippines. You just need to expect the delay when you send box on November or December (which may take 1 & 1/2 month) but ATLAS always do their best to deliver our boxes as soon as they can. SEND AT YOUR OWN RISK!! ATLAS shippers are not true to what is advertised that they are committed in bringing your boxes safe. Aside from bringing them LATE, whatever damages would occur, they dont care.My box was received with a big bent appeared crushed and smashed and as my family opened it, canned goods(spam and biscuits in can) were smashed opened and maggots all over. Mango juice bottle was cracked at one end resulting to leakage.I tried to contact customer service, over and over until finally some alleged supervisor from atlas Manila responded but then again gave me a hard time playing cat and mouse. Not answering and returning calls and finally got me to transfer my complaint to US branch. My case is still hanging, they are not taking responsibility for mishandling and even blames customers for not packing our goods well. Obviously the box was dropped or smashed as it had a big bent on one side and it was because of very poor and irresponsible handling. Mga kababayan. This is actually not the first case it happened to some people I know and some even lost their boxes.. and ATLAS didn't care. As an advice from somebody like you who cares for family in the Philippines if you are sending boxes thru ATLAS consider our horrible experiences before taking the risk. read more
