I came here for a networking event and whaaa? This place is so freaking cool!! The atmosphere is brooding, dark, paintings, and hunting trophies. Interesting cocktails, excellent service, and just a place to wow. I like a quiet spot so when the band came on we left not too long afterwards but while it was quiet, this was definitely a vibe. After hearing so many great things about the Doberman, we finally made our way a few nights ago to finally experience this beautiful bar/lounge ourselves and to celebrate my new job! The special Wes Anderson inspired menu is what really prompted us to celebrate at Doberman and it certainly did not disappoint. My husband and I tried multiple cocktails from this specialty menu; The Life Aquatic, The Darjeeling Limited, The Royal Tenenbaums, Asteroid City, and Isle of Dogs. While all of these were truly fantastic as well as aesthetically pleasing, The Darjeeling Limited was hands down the drink we enjoyed the most and what will likely bring us back in before this special menu is gone. The Life Aquatic was incredible looking, but was our least favorite as it was quite sweet. The space is absolutely gorgeous with so many unique art pieces and tchotchkes to look at. Our waitress, Taylor, was also very friendly and ensured we had a good experience. I am docking a star though as I had a few minor complaints... 1) My husband put under the reservation that we were celebrating my new job; something both hostesses immediately congratulated me on upon arrival as well as our waitress. Being that we were there to celebrate, it was odd that we were seated at the table in the back, right next to the restrooms. When we arrived at 7:30pm, Doberman was only at about 20% capacity (it filled up later); being seated next to the restrooms was noisy from the doors slamming and busy with everyone walking right past us. Kind of a bummer and something we didn't realize until we were 1/2 way through our 1st cocktails. 2) There is a sign next to the front door asking you to not take photographs or video during your time at Doberman; something the hostess reiterated as well. I will admit, I was guilty of sneaking a few photos, but the large party of 7 that was sat across from us later in the evening were blatantly taking dozens of selfies with the flash on and standing up many times to take video / photos of the space, some also with the flash on. This was incredibly disruptive and we were honestly surprised that no staff told them to please put their phones away. 3) The volume of the music kept changing. While we enjoyed the selection of music, sometimes it was so loud my husband and I could not carry on a conversation, while other times it was pleasant background music. The volume inconsistency was a bit annoying. Despite my 3 minor issues, I truly loved Doberman Drawing Room. The atmosphere and drinks are well worth the hype. Pro: The best place to drink in Vegas, quick service, witty banter, live entertainment Con: Parking could be insane on the weekends, live performance night could get packed. I had initially avoided the Doberman when it opened up, Corner Bar Management had spent 2 years of all of their resources to open up this new place off Fremont. Personally I was shocked with the amount of marketing fund being pumped into DDR on all social media while Commonwealth sits empty and Laundry Room was crumbling from quick fixes. The first visit to DDR was due the remodel of Laundry Room Jan 2026, I am usually in Vegas for 5 to 6 days for CES and LR was the nightly drinking hole for friends, clients, and vendors. Luck would have it, Andrew, a previous bartender from LR was at the door, now the front of the house. He introduced me to the bar manager, Steven, an absolutely brilliant master of mixologist. He doesn't get fazed by requests, even if his young sly smiles may betray the kind words out of his mouth, a term from the nursing community would say, he is not judging, he is assessing. Whatever I could think about in my drinking recipe arsenal, Steven could do on the fly with what DDR have in stock... which is quite a bit. There is never a bit of hesitation and non necessarily motion, just sheer efficiency balanced with understanding of the ingrediencies at hand. The seasonal milk wash were a triumph, whiskey tasting came with water droplets (haven't seen this since Tokyo), flaming flare with the snack book, and just generally a happy group of people working together in unison. Decor is dark, gloomy, and filled with luxuries, yet there there are some fun distortions to the painting. Membership program are available for bottles, special events, and private room usage. Specialty event line up with music, magic, and performances are quite the norm for DDR, so it could be a quiet night of drinking with a low crowd of 20 patrons to hundreds of people dancing away with a DJ under the massive chandler. This is my place to drink now while in Vegas, where I use to send people all over the world to visit the Laundry Room, it's now the Doberman Drawing Room after the absolute vibe collapse of Laundry Room post remodel. The constant menu change are a delight, the staff are full of talent and knowledge, and kind of a surprise with every visit. It is very exciting to see this bar turned from a very dreary place that did not have a very good menu to an upscale cocktail bar. Although the menu is very small, there are a lot of very unique flavor profiles that they have in their cocktails. After we receded we were given a mini taster of a specialty drink that they had for that evening. This bar is amazing. The interior was old, luxurious, and dark. I had Charcuterie Book and THE PILLOW. THE PILLOW BOOK was very pretty drink. I don't know what was on the top but they were glittering and colorful. The presentation of Charcuterie Book was so cool. The sausages and cheese were very good. Very cool concept however they have to respect the concept. While we were there the staff hung out by the bar and talked so loud we could hear them over the singer. Not good. Respect the guest and the artist. We were told about the dress code and they even texted us a reminder with our reservation. We complied with the code. It was very disappointing to see them allow 2 guys wearing gym shorts, t-shirts and gym shoes into the bar. Their reasoning was things are slow so we made an exception to get people in the door. BAD! Keep the standard of get rid of the standard. The food was okay, our chips were from the bottom of the bag, mostly little pieces. Should not have come out of the kitchen that way. The club itself had a cool vibe with eclectic decor, moody colors and a long dark wood bar. As I walked in, I was anticipating the evening ahead. I specifically choose a night that had a live music offering. As for the music, the set up started at 6. Not the music itself. It was closer to 6:45 before the musicians started. The singer did have a nice voice. The AGM helped us with our drink selection. I'd love to share what I had but there are strict rules on no photos and I can't remember the name of the drink I had. The food was a fail. We had the tuna in a can was good. The accompanying bread was tasty however it's pricey for what you're getting. The chips and onion dip. Well let's just say that we must have gotten the bottom of the bag that was turned and dumped onto the plate with small broken pieces. I think this was $18. Fail. The dress code on the website says it's strictly enforced. The email reminder about our reservation also called out the dress code. While I always enjoy dressing up it's extremely irritating when the establishment then lets in others in shorts, t shirts and trainers. Really? Then folks, including those who worked there, were just standing around and talking which drowned out the singer. The summary of the story. Skip The Doberman. I've been wanting to visit Doberman for ages, and finally got the opportunity to last night (Sunday at about 545p). It 100% exceeded my expectations! The ambiance, atmosphere, and decor was top notch- think lush and regal. Service was lovely, and the drinks were creative and delicious. We were also lucky to have caught the most amazing live music! Esteban and the supporting band played beautiful covers of R&B songs and it was simply magical. I am already looking forward to the next time I can visit Doberman. Bravo! read more

Absolutely love it here - I wish someone would open up a place like this in Summerlin! The decor is on point and the two gin cocktails I ordered were some of the best I've had in ages. The bartender was very knowledgable and you could easily tell how much he loved his craft. Didn't get to try any of the bar snacks, but watched a few come out to other guests that looked great. My first visit!! It was chrismasy girls night out and wanted to try here for a while and It was just perfect!! So classy elegant full of holiday spirit inside! We made a reservation and they got us nice seats in front of Christmas Tree and close to the live music performance! There was the rule they had, restrain from Cell phone. What a fun addition to the arts district. The decor is a mix of curiosities and taxidermy. The drinks are above and beyond delicious. This was a fantastic speakeasy with a cool vibe, live music and the tastiest drinks. Bartenders know what they are doing and are super cool to chat with. We ordered a couple rounds and the charcuterie box which was served in an old hard cover book that opens and holds the charcuterie treats.,They bring this out and create a cool spectacle by lighting it on fire for presentation. I don't usually go to bars, but the Doberman is hosting Mahjong Mondays for the month of February and I love mahjong. I went with friends and we had a blast! This used to be Artifice, and, according to my friend, it looks totally different in its new incarnation. I love the whole vibe and decor; very old- school. We sat in a booth with a mahjong set all ready to go. Our server,Taylor, was great. I did inquire whether we could take photos as I had seen a sign at the front saying that photos were not allowed. She said that it was okay that night, probably because of the mahjong event. Of course, there's an extensive cocktail menu, complete with non-alcoholic options. There are also small bites you can order. I ordered the Caninha: cachaca, coconut, lime, herbs and spices, honey, and tonic--salud to that! So nice and refreshing, not too sweet. They also "zero-proof" drinks if you don't want any alcohol. I loved my first visit there and plan to go back for another Mahjong Monday before the month is done. So I came here for their Valentines theme: A Tale of Love and it is a tale I would gladly read over and over again. We didn't have a live band this particular evening however I did enjoy the tunes that were playing overhead. Service was impeccable like the last time I came here. And I ordered a cocktail each from the Tale of Love menu and their signature menu. Both cocktails were excellent and I got a good buzz off of them too. We ordered the Snack Trio and it was very flavorful. I was stuffing the pecans into the olives and placing the olives on top of a chicharron-the combo was heaven. The long tablecloth got caught under my friend and a drink spilled. She said she would bring another drink but instead we waited for ten minutes and then she returned to ask "will you be opening a new tab?" What?? Barely scraped a Two Star. Let's start with This is a newer establishment in the Arts. They originally had opened trying to sell memberships only admittance. Well I'm guessing that did not work. Well you know what else doesn't work, Rude and arrogant staff that snuffs you as soon as you walk in! So our first visit. Christmas Eve. We walk in to "So you have reservations?" Nope " well all our tables are reserved so you can stand over there". Several open tables right behind us. Fine then no cocktail service, had to go to the bar. Before we did some seats opened up at the bar. So my wife asked about them and very nice server gal had said well let's just tell the host. Well I'm not sure what was said but there was some discussions. We ended up seated at the bar because my wife told me the gal has basically told this host "just opened up three seats let them have them!" Okay we were sat and now we are looking at the bar menu which is a list of fancy curated craft cocktails. I had a Patriot and it was okay, not sure I would order again. Then a Nine Countries, it was okay. Sometimes Bartenders try too hard to be crafty. He noticed I was just sipping at it. When he found out my displeasure. He said he would make something and stated " I know you will like it" well it was horrible, I don't remember what he called it, some Whiskey cocktail like an old fashioned. A second bartender dumped it with a smile and made me a Chocolate Old Fashioned which was fantastic.The previous bartender just rolled his eyes at me. Okay the decor is gorgeous! Also they were decorated for Christmas and it was expertly done. This is a posh, dining area with red velvet booths and crazy cool funky art. Gorgeous light fixtures and even the restroom is matching decor! The gals moving cocktails and food were working their tails off. It was not packed but it was busy. There were still some open tables. I will end with this, you never know who just walked in your door. Could be local could be tourist could be a billionaire, everyone should be treated nicely, especially since they are coming in to spend $$$. Overall if you are into pretentious arrogant attitudes and think you belong in a place that thinks they are better than everyone else then this could be your spot! read more

Cocktails were sensationally creative, tasty, and cause for conversation fodder. Make sure to grab a reservation to alleviate the banter at the door. Either way, it's worth a stop in. Yikes. Very complicated feelings about this place. It's always hard when an incredible local staple where people come for community and creative expression gets shut down and replaced with something impersonal and polished. So take this review with a grain of salt. The bartenders here are next level with their craftsmanship. The cocktails are incredibly well balanced. One bartender made us an off menu cocktail featuring an ingredient I normally hate but the cocktail was so well balanced that it might have actually changed my mind. I can't stress enough how lovely their cocktail menu is with the balance of sweetness (not too much) and acidity from what I tried. We ended up staying longer than intended to keep trying concoctions from the menu. Unfortunately, while nobody said anything to me directly, I got the feeling that getting tipsy and talking to other patrons was very much frowned upon. So if you're anti social or a very private person this is a good bar for you but I don't know if I will be back barring a specific event in which mingling is encouraged. I didn't try any of their food but noted that they have slightly elevated bar snacks on the menu. This is a newer bar that hasn't been opened too long and when I tell you that it is super cute inside, it most definitely is! I went out for drinks with a few friends. It's dark lit on the inside, a very elegant with a speakeasy feel. Their take on cocktails is epic. You won't find drinks on the menu like this anywhere. There are very lite bites here so I recommend having dinner first and arriving here for drinks later. As a note, they ask you not to take photos so there are none included here in the review.
