Tonight was my first time here. Before leaving the house, I read the previous reviews and noticed some negative comments. Let me say that the restaurant seems to have improved in every case. We didn't experience any of the problems mentioned in previous reviews. We received our food about 10-15 min after ordering. Everything tasted fresh and good. The service was outstanding. The whole operation seemed well run. The staff was friendly. The wings were great it was crunchy on the exterior but soft tender chicken on the inside. We ordered the teriyaki but there are many other choices. I am excited about trying the nuclear wings next time. read more

Let me just start by saying, If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I placed an online order from the office. My pickup time was for 11:50 am. I get there about 5 minutes late so 11:55. The girl up front said they were just finishing up my order and it would be right out. Ok no worries.. I stand there waiting another 10 minutes with no order or update, so I ask her for an ETA on the order. She goes around back and comes out saying they are just waiting on the wrap to finish up. Another 5 minutes go by and finally they bring the order out. So 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready for pickup, it was finally ready. Finally get back to the office with the food. My colleague, who ordered a grilled chicken wrap was extremely disappointed to the point where she didn't even eat most of the wrap. There was literally 2 small pieces of chicken on the wrap with a ton of lettuce to try and fill it up like we wouldn't notice... this is strike 2. Another colleague ordered a Buff. chicken sandwich. The picture on the website makes this look really good, but what we received was basically a small buffalo chicken patty covered in a small amount of buffalo sauce and topped with what seemed like a quadruple portion of blue cheese crumbles. He also said it was not very good tasting and was mostly bread (it sure didn't look good to me). Finally, I ordered just regular old bone in wings with their signature Atomic sauce. The wings seemed as if they were barely cooked through, and its not like they were sitting in a large amount of sauce and got soggy, they were barely coated in sauce, which honestly was tasted like regular franks red hot LOL. While I ate the wings because I was starving, they were very mediocre. I can honestly say I make better wings at home in my air fryer. They don't even offer carrots or celery with the wings, which is a very basic non-expensive compliment to any wing order. Also, to add to that, their food was very much overpriced in my opinion. The customer service is terrible don't order from GrubHub you are wasting your time I will repeat if I could give it zero stars I would. I'm giving this place a one star review because of their awful customer service. I placed an order at 7:08 pm and I was told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Based on my previous experience where I had to wait 35 minutes at the store, I said I'll be there at 7:50 allowing them 40+ minutes to prepare my food. They said that would be perfect. I got there exactly at 7:50 and expected my order to be ready. Nothing yet. Then 10 minutes goes by, and then another 10 minutes, and I still have not received my food. I patiently wait until 8:20 pm (half hour after I have walked into the store and 70 minutes since I placed my order on the phone), and I tell the employee at the front of the store this is unacceptable. At 8:22, I finally received my order with a half-assed apology from the store owner and two complimentary cans of soda for my troubles. And despite having 1 hour and 13 minutes to prepare my food, they forgot to add in the fries which I paid for and also did not make the sandwich according to the instructions I gave them over the phone. The food is decent but not worth the awful customer service in my opinion. This was an issue during their first week but since it was a soft opening, I understood it wasn't going to be smooth right away. 6 weeks later, nothing has changed. This particular location has likely lost me as a customer and if they continue to make customers wait over an hour for their food, good luck staying in business. read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBBLE!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! I should have walked out when I saw the restroom. But I won't go into that. My wife ordered (in person) . She stood in front of the cashier for at least 5min before being helped and then was interrupted 7 or 8 times (by the cashier) for a very simple order. So we wait at least 30min. Get our stuff and go. We get home and wasn't even the correct order. Asked for boneless( got bone in) asked for sweet potato fries (got waffle fries). Ok fine I can deal with an order that's not exactly correct. But when you bite into the first wing and it's not cooked all the way. Yup now I've had it. Tossed my lunch and went to Wendy's. I ordered two nutella waffles online, something I would assume would take no longer than 10-15 minutes to prepare, and to my surprise I go there after a half an hour just for them to start preparing my order when I walk in. I end up waiting another 20 minutes and just when I'm so frustrated I'm about to just cancel my order, she finally comes out with it. Terrible service, don't go here if you're in a rush. read more

I placed an online order which included a waffle and 5 boneless wings now unfortunately the waffles were not available. It would have been nice if i was notified at the front desk or called so I could choose something different. When I received my order I got bone in wings and waffle fries so upon speaking to the staff they were able to accommodate my new order. I was impressed because I requested something that wasn't on the menu and received my new order promptly. Even though atomic wings isn't the same as wings over Albany I have to say I'm very impressed with what they did tonight for me.. I order food online to be delivered and it was late cause of the driver and the driver refused to collect the money so I called them back and asked what I should do. I'm not a person who wouldn't pay for food even when it wasn't the best I've had from them so they told me they would send someone over to collect the money and they relieved new fries to me for the unconvince that I received. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We wanted to try it hoping it would be similar to wings over Albany and it's absolutely not. My boyfriend ordered 20 boneless wings with fries and I ordered 10 wings with fries and our order came to $48. When our order arrived we were missing our vegetables, which the charge $1 for. And the cheese my boyfriend asked for, which was $4. My boyfriend commented that his boneless chicken was absolutely disgusting. About an hour after we ate our stomachs began to hurt and we both got very ill to the point that I had to call in from work the next day. I emailed the franchise to tell them about my experience and right off the bat they were extremely rude. I then got a phone number for the manager at the Albany store. My boyfriend called for me since I wasn't feeling up to arguing with them and the manager was so extremely rude to my boyfriend. I gave Atomic wings a try after they told me the first time they ran out of wings, when they first opened. The second time they told me the staff didn't show up, so they are close for the day. So weeks later i Decided to give them a try..... let me begin with saying the counter girl was very RUDE! She kept laughing the whole time. They made a mistake with our order and they forgot our waffle fries. When I told her you forgot our fries she started laughing. I told her this is not funny, I am not sure why you are laughing. And she laughed even more!!! If she has a health issue that cause her to laugh than I understand.... but if not then that was VERY RUDE! Atomic wings should hire more respectful employees. First, there was no menu online or online ordering for this location so I called and the number online (as well as on the menu rec'd in the store) went right to a voicemail box that was "full". I went to the store and ordered in person: two tender meals and 5 wings, totaling $28.82 I paid at the time I ordered and then returned 20 minutes later as I was told it would take 20-25 minutes. Upon arriving the woman (who took my order) went to the back to get my food and came back out asking, "what did you order again?" She then returned to the back and again came to me and asked to see my receipt, order number. This led to her telling the cooks what I ordered, three times, over the next 5 minutes, and the cook coming out, asking her again, then asking me another time... I waited- for my order to be made, as apparently it never was- had I not paid I would've left - 15 minutes later I left with my order, which was such a pathetic serving of chicken tenders, not tossed in the sauce i requested, rather a small cup of sauce on the side- Definitely a huge disappointment. As this is a new location i would normally give it time to work out any kinks but I have to say I will never return. The food was overpriced, very sub par, and for a wing place you would think that the chicken would be the highlight. I could easily buy tastier chicken tenders at Walmart for much less. This location will only hurt the Atomic Wings reputation. read more
