Never made it into an appointment. Their rude phone service sucks. My call was answered by a sweet receptionist who told me that she was going to transfer me to the Glo Mineral expert. I was left on hold for at least 5 minutes, then someone picked up the phone (I heard music and rustling), the phone jostled and finally a nasty hang up. Not cool. I called back a couple of minutes later and my call went straight to a voicemail tree. I waited another 5 minutes before I called back another couple of times. This is a very nice, clean and trendsetting full-service salon. I was extremely pleased with the cut and color highlights that Marisa expertly performed on my hair. She listened very carefully, explained what she was doing and why, and was so comfortable to be with during my "transformation". I am quite happy with Marisa and the quality of her service. I would recommend her without reservation---she was great! I also took the time for a spa mani/pedi, as well. Sudi was exceptional in restoring my nails appearance & the pedi was so relaxing! Very disappointed in the pedicure. First of all, the lady never asked what kind of pedicure I'd prefer. No options and no pricing was given. No scrub, no foot massage (besides 2 mins it takes to put the lotion on) Had to push back the cuticles myself when she left to get the towel. For $35 they charged me later, it's just a big disappointment. Never going back. read more

I have been going to Selene for my hair for just about a year and a half. I have never had a complaint on the outcome with her. I have only had one terrible experience with color but the stylist is no longer there and Selene was able to fix it my next time in. I recently went to this salon and saw Lisa based off of a friend's recommendation. I had previously gone to a different salon with dark brown hair and wanted a light ash brown. I knew it would be a process however, the girl at that salon made my hair red TWICE. I cancelled all my appointments in order to have her try to fix it with that salon and made an appointment at Atrium putting all my faith into Lisa to get the red out. Lisa got all the red out of my hair and I'm so very happy with how it turned out. I'm so thankful she was able to fix my hair, I was so embarrassed walking around with my hair being red, yellow and green from another stylist at a different salon who obviously didn't know what they were doing. I went to Marissa for a cut and color... I have never gotten so many compliments...I absolutely love my cut, and my color is exactly what I wanted! I got a hair cut and updo for a formal event a few months back. I loved it but I had one complaint. When I booked my appointment, the receptionist told me I would just be charged for a hair cut because the "updo" that I wanted was just a simple braid into a ponytail. However at the time of the actual appointment I was charged for the haircut and updo which was way more than I was planning on paying. I happened to pass by the salon and stopped in to see if I could get an appointment for an eyebrow wax. Their soonest appointment was the next day which was just fine with me. Setting the appointment was easy and the person assisting me was very pleasant and helpful. I arrived the next day exactly at my appointment time. I only waited two to three minutes to be greeted by Noki. She did a fabulous job and was very warm and friendly throughout the process. I noticed that she seemed to adjust her personality to match mine which I really appreciated. By the end of the appointment she had me in hysterics laughing. I explained to her that I'm looking for a new salon since I recently moved into the area. She successfully walked the line between successfully selling her Salon without being pushy about it. Whether or not I use the other services they offer I am certain that I will be going back to Noki for my eyebrows. Only one thing kept me from giving this a 5-star review. The day I first walked in, there were two ladies behind the counter. One of them smiled at me and asked how she could help me. The other looked like she was scowling at me. Receive great pedicures and brow waxing services, and have for quite some time. However, the reception and other common areas are run-down and shabby looking. The carpets appear dirty and worn, as does the furniture. Time for the owner to invest in spiffing up the place a bit. I'm surprised they have let things get to where they are. Hated this place...snotty employees and VERY poor manicure. No under coat, no over coat. For a really great mani/pedi for a reasonable price, go to Profile Nails. I had my hair colored and cut yesterday at the Atrium Salon by Selene. WOW! I absolutely love it! She is an amazing stylist and really a color master. She has also been doing keratin smoothing on my long curly (frizzy) hair for several years too. This process has transformed my hair into a sleek shiny look that I absolutely love! She also gives the best head massage while shampooing! She was at another salon in Gold River where I first met her and I followed her to the Atrium.
