In the last days that I spent at Bayshore Hackensack Meridian Hospital supporting the person I've known and loved for nearly twenty-seven years, I must praise and honor the very high quality of care that they provided. The entire staff of both doctors and nurses were all professional, kind, caring, sensitive and attentive every step of the way. I was kept well informed of what was happening. The one specific nurse assigned to his care, Jasmine, deserves a special acknowledgment for her vigilant watchful eye. Her expressions of empathy and kind words were so helpful to me in moments that were difficult. And when "Advocate Counselors" and "Hospice" became necessary, their level of guidance was unprecedented! They walked me through each process I needed to take and did so with a caring and sympathetic ear. I was made to feel as if I was amongst family. For ALL of this, I am forever grateful. I felt as if I was bothering her. No empathy whatsoever. I had to go there only because that's where my insurance was a participant. She was horrible and wasn't even sure of what I had and said I should go get x-ray because "maybe" you could have pneumonia. MAYBE?? You don't know? Very unhappy and I will NEVER go back there again. The following day I went to The ER at Hackensack Merdian. No pneumonia as she scared me so much. I have bronchitis and a-fib due to an upper respiratory infection. As I am also a heart patient. SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND LEARN SOME ETIQUETTE AND MEDICAL NEEDS OF THE ELDERLY.

Jenny was wonderful. She explained everything and took her time. She made sure that she got the perfect video and the perfect pictures and she was even excited every time she got a good shot. The customer service rep's response was to tell me that she would have the manager, who is the individual who victimized me and violated my privacy, to call me back. I stated repeatedly that I had no desire to speak to this individual and that if that person called me I would file a police report. This is how Quest Diagnostics apparently handles grievances at the corporate level. Way to put the customer first. I will be filing a grievance for violation of HIPAA.

You can also see all your results on there too. Going to have my blood taken isn't one of the more fun things to do, but Nany at Quest in Manalapan really made my day. She was friendly, funny and I actually enjoyed my quick visit. I'd highly recommend Nany if you need any future bloodwork. She's a real pro.
