When we purchased our home, they performed a home inspection. They told us that the duct work was not up to par and would need to be replaced. Since this was our first home purchase, we really didn't know much about it. So when winter time came, we turned on the heat and could barely fee it in our bedrooms. Therefore, we knew that we needed new duct work and insulation if we wanted to be warm and toasty during the cooler months of the year. We had several companies come in and many took photos and so on. One company was here for less than 10 minutes and gave me a quote without actually climbing up into the attic. They actually provided me with the highest estimate of all! We compared all of the quotes and still felt that they were a bit high. We called Attic Projects and asked for an estimate to see how much it would cost to complete this project. I met Noah and we had excellent rapport with one another. He was very thorough and made me feel confident with their abilities to get this job completed. When he handed me the estimate, it was $1,000 less than other companies. With that being said, I signed the paperwork and gave them a deposit to secure the job. His company was able to send their installers to the home the next morning. I was pleased because I wasn't going to have to wait a long time to get this project completed. Their installers showed up early and began to set up. I let them know that I was teaching from home so I could not be bothered. Once I directed them toward the attic, I was able to teach my class while they got to work. During my teaching break, I took a peek to see what was going on. They had covered the walls and floor with plastic and a runner to prevent a large mess from forming. They were very quiet while they worked in the attic. When they needed to vacuum, they let me know and I was able to have them vacuum during my students' break. All of their mess was cleaned up and everything was put back in place. They didn't leave any evidence behind to show that they were here. I'm so glad that we found Attic Projects because they saved us a good amount of money and a lot of headaches. We now have new insulation and duct work. And they supposedly can't release their photos till 10 days post project. It's November 26. Ive been requesting my post photos for 3 weeks. My rep, Brandon Laude keeps telling me he will check on it. My experience , I had David Beaudoin come out to give me estimate on my job, he kept pressuring me to sign his contract, I explained I didn't want all the work done that was on the contract and he kept insisting I sign it, I told him I would sign it after he took the additional items off. Then I get a text saying he would take an additional 10% off, but he kept sending the original contract, when I kept telling him to removed the additional items he said he couldn't give me the discount he just offered. They didn't want to do my job because it was only a $4623.00 job minus 10% so $4,161.00 . David is the project manager and said he isn't going anywhere as he as been there for 25 years. Glad I saw this companies true colors. I asked to talk to the owner but he refused. Told me go get a Handyman to do the work. My neighbor recommended attic projects so I called them to fix my existing ladder to fit flush with the ceiling. ( It needed a new spring). I was told they could not replace springs and it needed a new ladder. It started with the salesman not supplying invoices and not responsive to calls and then the work being substandard. I was given support between the salesman and the work being done to help smooth things over and it was helpful. After they left and I went up to get my Christmas things ready to bring down I realized the top two steps are 3 inches in depth because it hits the pull down ceiling piece. Because the top two steps have such short depths you have to turn your foot length wise on the step making you take a short step to the attic that is only insulation to the ceiling drywall. My foot fell through and I have had to get medical attention. How could anyone leave an unprotected portion of the attic floor right when you step off the ladder. It is unsafe and shows a complete lack of detail. I called attic projects to let them know I was hurt and why and they said they would send a handyman. No one asked if I was OK. read more

This company has been a reliable resource for all things attic! Last year they cleaned out and re-insulated our attic (it had the original 1960s blown in that was about an inch thick and smelled old and stale) and installed a gable fan in the attic and another in our garage. Our house become instantly more comfortable and the garage was better ventilated and cooler. This year we decided to go with a whole house fan, since we can't justify the cost of AC where we live (5 miles from the beach). He explained what the process was, presented me with an information packet that was very informative. He then climbed into my attic and spent quite a bit of time up there. We recently had a lot of work done on our home that specifically affected the attic (tile reset for the roof, and new HVAC), so I wanted somebody to come by and take a look up there and see if there was any damage/debris that needed to be taken care of. In addition, one of our ceiling light cans got pushed down from the work, and I wanted some help with fixing it, if possible. Some companies wanted to charge $200 just to take a look. I'm not prone to leave a review for basically anything in life, but I feel compelled to leave one now based on my experience with Attic Projects - The Attic & Crawl Space Experts. I live in a historic home in the Hollywood Hills area. Our home used to be living quarters for a deer hunting operation in the 1930s. We moved into the home about 10 years ago, but we had never done a thorough cleaning of either the attic or basement. Attic Projects has a very congenial and experienced team that serviced our home from start to finish. We were consulted on the front end regarding our attic clean out. We had various areas of infiltration that their team witnessed throughout the years. They performed a cleanup, remediation, and restored our attic's insulation and atmosphere to new. We also have a California basement with a large crawl space throughout the underneath portion of our living quarters. It is a functional space that we needed to thoroughly clean out so we could prepare it for other uses. It descends from shoulder height to about 2' in height as you progress through the basement. They performed a thorough clean up of the entire area and showed me the video as they progressed to the lower portions of the house. They found pots and pans that were once used over an open fire (now our fireplace) that had simply been disposed of underneath our house. Unfortunately, due to their diligence, they placed adhesive painter's tape over magnesite tile in our entryway. That type of tile cannot be manufactured or replaced nowadays. However, they worked to solve the situation and restore our tile to its previous condition. All of this work was performed while I was in the midst of my father passing. When our entryway tile was damaged, I was quite disheartened. However, this company made it right. Which is why I felt compelled to leave this review. If you are ever in the market for an attic or basement clean out, I cannot recommend a better company to welcome within your home. read more
