Since I wanted the inside scoop on this award winning bakery, we ordered a variety of goodies to taste test. This included a chocolate chip cookie, the mushroom quiche, and the classic chocolate croissant. While each was delicious, the mushroom quiche was my favorite of all three items. The sister location is in Cleveland Heights. This stand is an easy destination for quick coffee, tea, pastries, and breads! Tea/Coffee: Good and quick. Nothing notable. Visit the neighboring stand Rising Star for an elevated cup of coffee. Sandwiches: Breakfast sandwiches (when available) are so yummy! You can add on bacon or sausage (not both). They are prepped very quickly and have the freshest bun. Must order! I will say that they're a little pricey ($9 and $2.50 extra if you want to add bacon or sausage). Bread/pastries: The case is usually full of different pastries. Croissants are really good here but light on filling. Breads are hit or miss. On some days they are very dry, at the start of the week much better. Service: Always pleasant and quick. Usually your order is taken care of before interaction with the next customer. This keeps things moving along very efficiently. Seating: After you order, you can sit at the Market Hall or on the patio. Lots of seating choices - tables, couches, high tops, and booths. And sometimes they have great deals when you buy multiple items. Plus the donuts in the bag are a great price and my kids love them. The bread I bought was yummy and just awesome for the cooking I did with it and for the which I made I mean it's a loaf of bread so what can you really expect lol! Pretty much they have a good amount of random breads and other goodies here for a awesome price so you really can't go wrong with a stop to the bread store! On top were kataifi (those crispy shredded things) and on the bottom was pistachio cream. Both the milk chocolate and pistachio cream were sweet and rich, but the tartness of the strawberries helped make the dessert feel not too heavy. I totally devoured the cup and enjoyed every bite. I just wish there were multiple layers of pistachio cream and kataifi throughout the cup instead of the pistachio cream being all on the bottom and the kataifi being all on the top. A little expensive at $15 a cup, but pretty typical for Dubai chocolate things in the area. Mostly a takeout spot but there are a few tables if you want to enjoy your chocolate before it starts melting in the late summer heat.

There is a nice area to sit inside with a few tables if you choose to dine in, as well as a larger outdoor patio space to sit at which I really liked and will be perfect in the summer time. Jossi's had a lot more then just bakery as they offered traditional Latin food options such as empanadas as well as some other warm pastries. They also do custom cakes and personalized orders which is really awesome and they seem like a great team of people to work alongside if you are interested! I tried the carrot cake cupcake which was light and delicate, as well as tried the packaged alfajores which were not my favorite but was happy to try them. They also offered specialty coffees and drinks as well as selling their own ground coffee for purchase in a horchata flavor. I do wish they had their prices posted on the large menu just to reference as I found myself having to ask the price of a couple things. Overall, this bake shop is a charming place and reasonably priced and I am glad to have it tucked away into Broadview Heights. I love supporting small businesses and this is definitely one I will find myself back at trying new things (especially the warm pastries next time).

At around 11am, they were already out if most pastries and desserts but still had a lot of sliced breads available. Thanks to the helpful staff, I picked up a 1 lb loaf of the European Rye (the bread that started it all decades ago) and a cinnamon twist for a treat. Now this is what real bread tastes like! Most of their bread is sourdough based and tastes heavenly. I had a slice of the European Rye to test it out before bringing it home to my family. It was so good, I almost don't want any of my family to have it! The cinnamon twist was gone in a flash. A few seconds in a microwave and the heavenly aroma was all over the office. Both items cost me about $7 in all. I think those are great prices for great products! This place is a little off the beaten path (bakery is in the back... you'll see a cool 1965 vintage Chevy by the door) but it is very much worth the trip!
